I recently had the chance to visit Legacy Hall while in Plano on a work trip! As someone visiting from Florida, I thought this place was SO cool. The atmosphere is super inviting and there are plenty of food and drink options as it is food hall/cafeteria style dining. I ordered dinner from Horu Sushi and ordered the Horu roll. Let me tell you.. this was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. 10/10 for sure and a generous portion. My friend got a waffle from Pressed Waffle for dessert and it was super sweet but delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating and it does get very busy so it could be hard to find an indoor seat. The parking garage is easily accessible and free. It seems that they also put on lots of events such as live music and trivia nights. I highly recommended visiting Legacy Hall for a unique and fun dining experience. read more

I ordered the elote dip with chips, brisket taco, and shrimp taco. All my items were great! The taco were bigger than street tacos but tasted similar. The tortillas were fresh and fully loaded. I tried restaurants inside the Legacy Food Hall after hearing reviews on YouTube and seeing others rave about it on social media. It's at most average and compares heavily to "just okay" food court mall food in terms of quality. I don't think it's worth the price. Chef Chin's Hibatchi Ramen - I ordered the yakisoba noodles. They were very salty. Lots of veggies and very little noodles. Service was fast and on a weekday evening there was no line. Chilangos Tacos - Do not get the nachos. It's all chips with very, very little toppings. The picture I took is very misleading. After we ate the top chips, all that was left was a huge mountain of dry chips. Also, they don't put beans on their nachos. The quesadillas are tiny, not much larger than a taco, and definitely not enough to order it by itself as a dinner meal. The tacos were better but not worth the price. Velvet Taco - My husband tried the salmon taco and the shrimp taco. Both okay but he preferred the shrimp. Again, nothing to rave about. Whisk Crepes Cafe - For this price, I've gotten way more fruit at other establishments. They aren't stuffed with fruit. It's more of a garnish. My crepe was good but I've had better. Overall, glad I got to try several establishments but I wasn't too satisfied. I think you can spend a similar amount and get better quality food in the area. This cool spot is a great place for hanging out with family and/or friends. It's is located in the Legacy West Mall. They have numerous food spots and a bars on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The 1st floor also has an open area where you can get table service for a fee but they have a stage area where bands play. It can get very busy. We waited about 20 min for tables to open up. They offer tables and chairs for you to sit and eat your food just like a food court. They have everything from Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, Sushi, Ramen, Chicken, Crepes, etc... They all share the same soda fountain drinks which is in the center of Food Legacy. We had a great time there. It is like an upscale food court and has a great vibe. read more

Wow! We had the best date today! We ate mainly from Roots Chicken Shak and my hubby had 2 beers, and me cab wine from Bar Main. Deliciousness, Fun & Yum! This was our second time at Legacy Hall. We really love the concept of this place. It's a great place to hang out with different friends so that you can all pick different things to eat. There are a lot of options for food and there are bars on every floor. The staff is very nice everywhere. We tried the tacos the pizza, the vegan place, the waffle place and the seafood place. I had the garlic lobster fries at the seafood place and they were a super good deal for the price. I also had the clam chowder which was pretty normal. The pizza was super good, the tacos were also really delicious. This is a really fun place to hang out and we will be back. read more

I'm still in Texas and today we went to Legacy Hall. Now this here food hall is a whole entire vibe. They have something there for whatever your taste buds desire. My best friend and I went to Son of a Butcher I got the PB&J slider that's right a slider with peanut butter and jelly. And it was out of the world. my bestie got the slider with the onion ring, with mac & cheese. There are several bars and there seems to be activities happening there throughout the month. If you are ever in McKinney go check them out! And after you are full just walk around and do some shopping. read more

I always really like places with this structure, where you can try different places under one roof. We stopped by after work one day and we're pleasantly surprised. We tried the sushi, which was a huge roll and very tasty! Then, we tried the lobster grilled cheese. This was also amazing. I mean how can you go wrong with both lobster and a grilled cheese?! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to the lack of seating. There was a whole portion blocked off upstairs, due to leaking. We had to sit down with people who did not want to share a table but there was nowhere else to go. We liked the atmosphere but ate and left due to the people taking up 2 tables that did not want to share any room, even though they weren't eating. Guests at the hotel nearby told us about Legacy Hall at Legacy West (a high end shopping area), so we went there for dinner. What a crazy and fun food hall. Food counters are on the first floor. Walk around to check out all the foods, from street foods, vegan, Indian, meat sandwiches, Italian, Asian, etc. Then take the stairs or elevator to the second and third floors. There is a brewery up there, and bars to order drinks or to sit at. Now find a table. To order food you use your phone on the table's CR code. There you find the menu choices, and to pay with a credit card. A runner brings your food to you. It's easy, and you can people watch and visit while you wait. Waiting was not long. This night there was a Latino band on the outside stage. We could hear the music, and that was nice. Parking is crazy. Park in one of the parking garages which are free. We had a rental car. So glad we didn't rent a F150. Moving around the garage was tight. read more

Legacy Hall is good place with a big variety of cuisines that are fairly affordable. Lunch time seems to be busier than the evening, and it's filled with corporate people. I ordered Indian food from the 1st floor! Indian food that caters to the American palette is always muted and a bit bland compared to what it should be like. Having this in mind, the dish I ordered wasn't so bad; it was just Americanized. It was incredibly filling and well worth the cost. While I wasn't able to finish the rice, my order was decent, filling, and such a value. Service was great, and I felt healthy after eating it! read more

This was a really cool, fun place! There are so many great food options to choose from and everything seemed so clean and modern. We enjoyed our time sipping on a flight of beers and trying some waffles/crepes. However, the service at a few of the places was absolutely terrible. We got our flight of beers at the bar at the top, and the bartender was so rude. He seemed like he didn't have the time of day for us and sighed when we asked for help. The workers at the Whisk & Eggs place were also not great. They were all young kids that didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I made a mobile order and came at the time it said it would be ready and they didn't come and assist me for 5 minutes and then still didn't have my food ready. Stopped by here for lunch when I was visiting the area. Legacy Hall is a cool space with several different options of food, drinks & dessert! The options are pretty varied so I would think everyone would find something they like. There are tables all throughout the building and upstairs. It is basically an upscale food court. It can get pretty busy and the tables can fill up. The fountain soda machines are not attached to any vendor and are around the seating. It's nice not to have to go back to the vendor to get a drink refill. read more

The soda machines were all flat, and there were no water cups by the fountains which means I had to go to the bar, and they are not always a fan of giving water at the bar. Still! I'm a loyal customer to this place because it's near and dear to my family's heart, so we will be back. Also, legacy hall, please bring back Rosemary's Baby. We love you guys. read more

A bit disappointed in our latest experience at Legacy Hall. Our food was either cold or not how we remembered. We had both Brisket Love & Roots Chicken Shak. Brisket Love's brisket nachos were a major miss. After waiting for the food to be ready, the nachos came out cold like they'd been sitting out for a while. The Mac n cheese was fine, nothing to write home about. Roots' chicken again was fine, not remarkable. I waited about 15 minutes for the chicken tenders only for them to be overly salty. read more

In the 1990's I spent a fair amount of time at the mall, a good chunk of that time was spent at the food court. Back then, the options were limited to fast food, chain restaurants and sub par food. But hey, when you're a teenager hanging with your friends, you aren't too picky. Fast forward a couple decades and the traditional food court has gotten a facelift. Legacy Hall is a fancy food court-boasting amazing local eateries as well as craft beer and bougie wines. There's nothing subpar about this place. You can go with a group of friends and everyone can get what they want-no more trying to find a place that meets everyone's varied tastes. The hall is three stories, with tables throughout as well as patios on each level that face a green court outside. On any given night, you can expect to see a live band, a movie or other entertainment. The vibe here is upbeat and energetic-any night of the week. This is the place to be! Parking is free in a nearby garage, although it does get full and crowded pretty early on. If you are hosting a group event, consider reaching out to Donna to have a private patio reserved and pre-loaded cards for everyone to purchase their food and drinks with. This is how I hosted a team meeting recently. The preloaded cards allowed me to stay within a budget and tell attendees that when they run out of money, they are on their own dime. :-) The group loved the flexibility of choosing their own meals and being able to socialize in a more open setting-not stuck sitting at a table in a crowded restaurant. Every time I visit Plano, I plan to hit Legacy Hall and check out a different restaurant. There are so many, it will take me awhile to get through them all! read more

I while visiting friends and family knowing I'm an addict for all things delicious my friend surprises me with a trip to this place. There's so many options o can't imagine how anyone makes a decision on what they're going to eat. Matter of fact if my stomach was bigger I would have sampled every single restaurant on site. Food and drink choices are great for those interested in knowing, and that's not the real problem. I believe it's the interest in bringing in artists to perform rather than being equipped to have a concert. Some context for some people to understand is that having 6-8 load speakers and a few subwoofers isn't ready for a concert to be held at Legacy Hall. I strongly believe the promoters and investors that are leading this piece need to really think about this some more and prepare themselves. Rather than just throwing something together and letting the people that pay admission 'deal' with it. read more

I also appreciated the fountain drink selection that was available -- can't go wrong with Pepsi products and the Stubborn brand. My take of Legacy Hall - it's a chill place to hang out with friends for happy hour or to watch a game. Most of the staff have been friendly the few times I've gone, if not a little busied. I went during a cold weekend, but was still able to sit outside due to the heat lamps, which was nice because the jumbo screen area is cool. Also, at least with the tables outside, you can use a QR code to have food brought to your table. Unfortunately, the screen displayed "unavailable" for all vendors - might've been to coming during an event night though. That being said, it does seem some of the food vendors are overpriced - with the exception of more "snack-focused" places, I'd rather prefer independent sit down places of certain cuisines compared to this venue. But I guess it comes with the this type of place. Here's what I've specifically tried: - Roots Chicken Shak: very flavorful chicken and worth buying itself. Last time I ate you do have to pay for sauces. - Italian Job: I ordered chicken Alfredo. Nothing too special but staff was quick and presentation was good. Pizza might be the highlight of this place. - Press Waffle Co.: nice waffle place! I liked the texture of the waffle and combo of toppings (Liege). That said, the staff actually got my order wrong. Stopped in for Fat Tuesday. Grabbed 3 glasses of Lamarca Prosecco at the Good View Bar (2nd floor). These are hardworking bartenders that move the drinks through no matter how busy. Be patient and they will take care of you. The Prosecco was a bit on the warm side. Other than that, great option at that bar. I love this concept so much! I came here for my HS reunion and had so much fun. There are so many food options here. There are also a few bars around here. This location is crowded. Its like a foodies dream come true with so many places to chose from. It's fun to come here on a girls night esp when there is a cover band or an event here. I love visiting food halls when traveling to different cities. Our friends who are local in Dallas took us here for brunch and our eyes were way bigger than our stomach.  The 4 of us ended up tag teaming and ordered from a few places such as: Blist'r Indian, Shawarma Bar, Son of a Butcher, Velvet Tacos, & Dock Local for lobster rolls. Everything was delicious and amazing! Legacy Hall is a cool place! I had a great Sunday morning brunch with a quick waffle from Press Waffle Co., which had lots of options! I opted for the sweeter side of Build Your Own, with strawberries, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. I also got a mimosa from Blush Wine Bar, which was perfectly poured, and the lady behind the bar was super friendly. Even though it was Sunday around noon, there was plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor! Good vibes all around. In terms of Covid, they had people cleaning up tables as soon as people left. It seemed very clean and safe. However, a few of the people making the food were either not wearing masks or not wearing them properly. This place is almost overwhelming if you are first time visitor. It looks very fun though... When we came, it was easy to find parking thanks to covid-19. This was what was reviewed the most for legacy Hall, so I sought it out and ordered it with some shoestring fries. it took me out of a $20 by the time everything was rang up, so I had very high hopes for this roll. I was definitely impressed and satisfied with my lobster roll. The lobster was cooked to perfection, still tender and buttery and the mixture was well seasoned. The roll itself was fresh, soft yet durable. I had no shame in my game as there was so much lobster stuffed in there and with each bite a couple fell onto my plate.
