I went into Legacy Trading Cards with my daughter at 4:30 PM on a Sunday Afternoon. Legacy Trading Cards is located right next to Vons. The place was busy for a Sunday afternoon! From the moment we stepped inside the door, you could tell something special was happening. A couple of tournaments were taking place, tables full of people playing card games, cards all over the tables, lots of energy in the air. It felt like an local game store type of place, a community hangout! Even though there were so many activities going on, it did not feel too crowded. There was still enough open area for us to check things out, and they offered a very strong selection of items! They had a great variety of trading cards, Pokémon, Magic, etc, including both single packs and bulk buy sealed items. My daughter headed straight for the Pokémon area, and we picked up a few packs while we were shopping here. It was a really fun visit overall. Both the lively tournament scene and the wide variety of cards that they offered made me feel like this is a legitimate store to support your card collection hobbies! My daughter and I both enjoyed ourselves and we would go back here especially to get more Pokémon cards. We'll have to try out a local tournament at some point too! read more

This is a great environment for people of all ages. Shop owner is very helpful and polite. Also threw in some sleeves for me which he didn't have to do. Little things like that separate a good business from a great one. This shop is definitely the great one. read more

1 star is generous. This place is everything that's wrong with the modern sports card hobby. What used to be a fun, community-driven space for collectors now feels like a hype machine built around squeezing as much money as possible out of people chasing hits. Boxes are priced so high that regular collectors don't stand a chance. Instead of a welcoming hobby shop where people can enjoy collecting, the entire vibe revolves around expensive breaks, speculation, and flipping. It feels less like a card shop and more like a casino built around sports cards. The saddest part is that shops like this push the hobby further away from what made it great in the first place -- kids opening packs, collectors trading, and people enjoying the cards themselves. Here it just feels transactional and profit-obsessed. If you're looking for a place that actually values collectors and the spirit of the hobby, you're probably better off finding a smaller shop that hasn't completely bought into the hype-driven side of the industry. read more

Keeping on the Legacy Legacy sports does it again! Second location offers a great selection for both TCG and sports cards. However, this location seems to focus more on TCG. One of the best card places especially for Pokemon. Reasonably priced singles and when they get new products, it's typically not too over the MSRP. They do sell booster boxes at market prices however, they do always typically start low at the beginning. The manager there (I can't remember his name but hes an oriental gentleman standing about 5'10 or 5'11) has the best customer service and is suuuppeerr chill. He's hooked me up before after an employee made a slight but honest mistake (the employer sold me a different box than I wanted lol). Great place if you're a collector! read more

As a trading card game collector, I have never found a store that met my needs. Needs as a collector, as a player, and as a person. This shop has the best prices in town on trading cards in sports, pokemon, Lorcana, etc. The staff was not only customer focused but very knowledgeable in everything that they were selling. The store lets you rip your packs in the store and they will make sure that you don't leave with your cards unprotected. The store sells product to take care of your cards and to use your cards in play too! I absolutely love this store and highly recommend anyone interested in coming, that you come check it out! read more

I absolutely love this store. Marcus is super cool, I bought some magic the gathering packs and he invited me to commander nights. I showed up to play, and I met some really cool people, very different environment from other card shops. Everyone is super nice and inviting especially for a newbie like me. Pricing is fair, right around market value for singles or packs. All in all I'll be attending every commander night I can. And I'll be buying my magic products from this store going forward.
