My parents love this spot so we decided to try it. They're only doing pick up orders due to covid, but I was pleasantly surprised that they got everything right with our complicated phone order. Between the kids, and my 89 year old grandma's order (shes so picky!) I was sure there would be something mixed up or forgotten...nope. When I walked in they had sections taped off on a table with orders waiting in them. The cashier was completely blocked off by a clear barrier with only a small hole to move her pole with a basket attached at the end. You give your name, she gives a total, you pay, she shoots a receipt out in her little basket along with which lane number your orders waiting in, you grab it and go. It was very fast and efficient. The food was very good, made to order and very fresh. The teriyaki chicken was unlike any other chinese food restaurant I've ever had and i really enjoyed it. We also got the bean sprout chicken and while it wasn't much to look at, the taste was phenomenal. My hubby said the kung pao chicken was very tasty too. All in all it was a good experience. read more

Ok so don't get discouraged by my picture! I was pleasantly surprised once I wrangled all my food on to a plate. The food was pretty amazing!!!I got the Eggplant spicy garlic, veggie lo mein, and crab rangoons. I definitely would like to come back and try some more tasty food. Love that it was fresh! (Side note; I hate when my food is cold. I drove back to Beaumont and my food stayed piping hot) Also their customer service was great, everyone smiled and greeted me when I walked in. Thanks! read more

One of the best Chinese restaurants. Everything is so hot and fresh. I am happy everytime I come to this place. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. read more

The food always good. The service tonight awful. The server we had never smiled. After receiving the four large dishes to our small table, there was no room to place them due to our plates and glasses. I had to stack a plate on top of the rice bowl. We asked if we could bring a table over to make more room, and all she said was no and walked off. After I accidentally stuck my sleeve into a plate of noodles and giving her some dirty looks and me being vocal about how there were so many empty tables did she finally say, you want another table did we get a big enough table. If it weren't for the food I would never return. read more

A traditional Chinese restaurant that offers great food at an affordable price. The food is tasty, have been a few times now and it hasn't disappointed. Recommend dining in for the best experience, the to-go order we had didn't taste quite the same. read more

Third time here.... Walked in to order takeout and the gentleman that has waited on me the last two times was still as pleasant as the first time; even remembered what I ordered last time and offered me something to drink while I waited (I already paid so I assume it was going to be on the house had I accepted). Such great customer service! Usually I order Mongolian beef, but last time my wife ordered the peppered beef with mushrooms and it was so good, I broke out of my comfort zone and ordered it for myself this this time. read more

Best Chinese food I've ever had in Southern California ever! Neat clean and family owned. You can definitely tell they take pride in what they do! Haven't tasted everything on the menu but what I have has been outstanding. I'm certainly going to keep coming back and taste everything I can. Hate to even write this and tell anybody, Being selfish isn't right. Lunch or dinner get there early! read more

Food is alright, not great but not bad. Dining in was ok, but Ill be ordering a takeout in the future.

Best Chinese food in the entire area. The service is always wonderful they are a family-run business and everything is always very pleasant and enjoyable. we and many people go there quite often. the prices are absolutely wonderful they give you an awful lot of food, so there's always to go boxes to bring home and one to two more meals in each to go box. I highly recommend this place. I personally guarantee that you will want to come back again and again. read more

Ordered food to go and they put my food in plastic foam. The food was so hot the plastic foam melted on the chicken. why couldn't you put parchment paper before you put the food on cheap plastic foam. Makes no sense and the foods just not that great . read more

I seen people like legends China on Facebook. So I thought I'd try it. I went in there tonight to get family of three Dinner to go. 2 servings of Crab Rangoon, shrimp and lobster sauce, orange chicken. I was very disappointed in what I received. The orange chicken was a large portion but so dry, barely any sauce, and pieces so hard you can't chew them! Their shrimp and lobster sauce had just a handful of shrimp, and a bunch of onions and bell peppers. I would say it was an onion and bell pepper vegetable dish. Crab rangoon was fine. But they gave me a tiny half full sweet sour sauce. I would say about a quarter of an ounce for 2 orders. I really hate to leave a bad review in these days but I spent close to $60 on what I feel is not very edible! read more

The food is always authentic, service with a smile great attitudes very courteous !!!

Good food and service No ambiance. Large portions to share We will be back for sure Sweet and Sour Pork read more

Not coming back. Served a 0/5 spicy level Kung Pao chicken with cubes of chicken which were not marinated enough. Wife received white washed orange chicken 0/5 flavor level. Disappointed by the other help reviews listed for this place. Since they are all either used to white washed food. Or simply enjoy that flavor. If your looking for something more authentic try Panda Express instead. At least they bring the heat. read more

When we went in for our first time, the women pointed us to a table. No greetings. Oh well. The waitress was not friendly. The water tasted like lake water. The food was terrible. I do not recommend this restaurant. We paid the bill and left our food. read more

I love the food! Everything I've ordered has been delicious, great service and I love the hot tea! Definitely recommend!

We went here today for the first time. We ordered the Combination Lo Mein and the Orange Chicken. I read some of the reviews regarding no flavor. I was surprised because everything tasted good. We will be back. One thing I'm so glad about is they don't use MSG. The restaurant was very clean and a nice family restaurant. read more

This place is a gem in the area! Lots of parking space! Clean restroom. Yummy, authentic food. Our favorites are the salt and pepper fish and Lo Mein. Fast, friendly service! Great prices for the amount of food! Definitely a must try when you're in the area! read more

Great food at excellent prices. The jalapeño chicken is my favorite. Try the dumplings too. Either steamed or fried. Both excellent.

We eat here often. The Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice and fried dumplings are so good. We usually take out but on occasion eat here. Service is good no matter which you choose. read more

This place I okay but I've definitely had better. It's really just basic Chinese food. Nothing special at all. And I really don't care for the customer service either. Not nice or friendly people to deal with. And after every transaction they make you feel like they are doing you a favor. Umm shouldn't it be the other way around? Can I get a Little gratitude for spending my hard earned money at your sub par establishment?!!! read more

First time customer, pleasantly surprised. A daily special that includes entree of your choice, steamed or fried rice, an egg roll, and hot or iced tea is only $8! My string bean chicken was very good, my husband said is Kung Pao Chicken was "exceptional". I inquired about my favorite dish, Black Pepper Chicken, and was told they would make it, even though it's not on the menu! Next time The only strike against them is Pepsi. They do not serve Coca Cola products, just Pepsi. Blech Now, after 4 visits YUM!!! I must say the string bean pork is AMAZING! Huge portions of deliciousness! read more

Legend 8 China - Scallops with Asparagus & Sweet n Sour Pork - Chinese Near Me - Calimesa, California

The quality of food was not acceptable. We went back and had a very bad experience this time. Spicy Chicken wasn't spicy at all and tasted bland. Seemed they put all salt and soy sauce into other dishes, lol. Beef was tenderized in heavy salt and soy sauce that raised our heartbeat, not mentioned we got sick afterwards, something in the food made us run to the restroom right away. All meat dishes were greasy can't be good for our health. We are not going back soon until they make some changes. read more

There's not a whole lot of options for a restaurant experience in our area when it comes to Chinese food. So without driving too far we stopped here. So the inside is pretty underwhelming if you're looking for something beyond cafeteria style. But hey, you're there for the food right? They have a lot of options on the menu and the have "Family Dinners " which give you a few options but NO substitutions. So we ordered a few single plates. Mu Shu Pork, Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Garlic Shrimp. I also ordered some Egg Drop Soup to come before the meal. Maybe that night was not a good night to eat inside the restaurant because the service was slow, and even though we ordered waters (I did order green tea) we had to ask several times for a refill. The table space didn't allow for enough space so we decided to just put the plates on either table beside us but they were both full of kid toys and ear buds and stuff. I think it's a family run business so maybe they had to bring kids to work. Idk. So anyway, back to the food. The flavor was decent but not great. My Kung Pao Chicken was almost too spicy, but the kids seemed to like the Orange Chicken. My soup came out right before the meal (I would have preferred it 15 minutes earlier). The Garlic shrimp was ok. Mu Shu was bland. The atmosphere seemed tense between the employees and it definitely made us feel uncomfortable. We love supporting small businesses but this was our second time back and unfortunately it will be our last. read more

Honest common: "The Family Dinner A, B, or C are reasonably priced", no kidding, not even worth the prices you're paying. The dishes were so salty that not edible, they looked like were stirfried in soy sauce and loaded of salt like free of charge. The appertiser's meat was so dry that burnt at least twice. looking back to the pictures from others posted, the chicken sticks are so dark and dry, it hardly able to chew. The service was not pleasent either, when we metioned the meat dishes were burnt, hard and dry, one of the server said, it is what it is, than walked away; we thought if this worker even understand what we were talking about it. Worst of all, our stomach got sick about a few hours later. Not sure what happened, the last visit was not bad and delicious. read more

The food we have gotten to go, and dine in, has been excellent! Very friendly staff and quick service! Highly recommend!!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with another reviewer's post regarding waitstaff, Mr. Ihatemyjob, his demeanor is less than desirable! He clearly lacks customer service skills. It doesn't make me want to return to sit at a table where he is the server. The egg foo young was filled with bean sprouts that clearly should have been tossed in the garbage. The ends of the bean sprouts was grey/black. Pretty disgusting. Additionally, when I ordered Chinese vegetables, the white stem is served while supposedly, the green leaves were tossed in the garbage. I toss the white stem of the bok choy and eat the greens. read more

Was referred by friends here, they had taken a photo of their plate, broccoli beef, fried rice, egg roll. And it looks tasty. And said what a great place this is, so we visited it today. And the staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the selection was amazing I order kung pao chicken, with the extras, and was delicious. First-timers there and will make this place our 1st choice before Panda Bear. This place gives you bigger portions and we had leftovers to take home. The price was reasonable, and the restaurant was so clean and so organized the staff worked as a team of giving their customers the best service.
