And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Driving by and noticed a new Chinese place in the old Tang's. Tang's was so-so. We called and ordered takeout. The man taking order was polite and got the order right on first and only time through. We ordered a Family meal B. and some other items. It was ready as promised. The appetizers were excellent. An order of fried dumplings were so good and the sauce is spot on. The Hot and Sour soup could use a little soy or oyster sauce but good. The szechuan Beef and Hot and Spicy Chicken were excellent. I mean the Szechuan Beef was Excellent. Plenty of it and spicy and bold. The Chicken again plenty of it and great full of flavor. And the Chicken fried rice completely filled the carry out container. And it was seasoned perfectly. I guess the only thing I can say negative about this new restaurant is that the containers were filled so much that one of them leaked out. But then they had everything in a box so now harm no foul. Oh yes, the small soup, is not small. Anywhere else it would be a large. So, this is the Chinese restaurant we have needed in the Yucaipa/Beaumont area.
