I have been coming to this family owned business for close to three years and I have always loved coming back. They all have treated me so well and have been so considerate. I have worked several types of jobs through the years and their work would withstand MY work. And mind you I'm talking about operating presses that extrude aluminum. The extrusions would run at 800+ degrees Fahrenheit! I'm not talking about a desk jobs. (Nothing wrong with them, just saying) I've also worked scanning, stacking and pushing packages in a package delivery job (bookshelves, tvs, grills, tires, rims...) which was very fast paced and intense... it was during the Covid/seasonal/blizzards in Texas 2020 era... that was tough. Now the job I'm currently at, where I deal with electrical boards and wiring and enclosures. I have beat up my nails and they've always looked so pretty regardless because of the work put into them. Of course sometimes they'd get cracked but my work isn't forgiving, I've worked with primarily men and they've even admired my nails. Now that SAYS something!!! My nails have typically lasted 3-4 weeks depending on what I... what I!! Me!!! ...Did to them... so Depending on what I did to them they'd last 3-4 weeks. I am also an artist and a cook on the side and I've always loved Bao and Kim's work. I love their creativity and excitement to try something new. I give them free reign from one artist to others I like giving them that because I also trust them. I have gone elsewhere once ONCE because a family member liked that one which was in her area... I regretted it. But the experience was nice but it wasn't the same as Legend. So I only go to legend. I can't speak for others and I have read their reviews. Everyone takes experiences differently, ‍‍‍ people are people... we're human and it's okay. I have always enjoyed my experiences. And I'll keep coming back. I don't care for absolute perfection I care about the experience and the work put into them. And they do have beautiful work. read more

I was impressed with the reviews so I gave them a try, this place just was not for me. Extreme lack of attention to detail, old get polish left behind (I paid the $5 removal fee). I left with a dehydrated, messy pedicure. Don't expect anything from here, quantity over quality for sure. read more

Daughter was nice and detail oriented when giving my pedicure. But this location is not clean. I saw a cricket hop across the floor & watched one of the owners step on it, then kick it to the side of the room. Nail clippers were rusty. I've been getting my nails done in neutral for years & this is by far the worst manicure I've ever had. I was gaslighted and told it was my nails fault. The women was aggressively manhandling my hands & fingers after I pointed out that my nails were not even. I have bits of nail still underneath (from filing) after leaving. The layers are visible at my cuticle. I had them put a pink coat on my nails, before leaving because it's my birthday dinner tonight and I would not want to be seen in public with these things. My girlfriend wanted us to get our nails done and chose the closest location. We had never been there. We had an appointment and arrived and while we were choosing our polish they told us to hurry because they had a busy day. There was only 1 client there. When we said we only wanted basic mani/pedis they kinda snubbed us. Most of the time my lady was on speakerphone while doin I'm g my nails and talked me into getting my brows. When I was checking out and asked if they had coupons, she rudely responded only cheap places do that. Then she didn't like my 18% tip. When I asked my girlfriend how much she tipped she told me not much because she thought they were rude then I realized she was right. Bummer. I am getting what I paid for. My nails Are about 3cm shorter then when I came in. Not sure why a female with super long nails when she came in would want you to cut them to half the length they were, but here I am with hands and nails that now look like a 13 year old private school student and not a 30 year old adult entertainer like I am. I went for a pedicure this evening, the owner's daughter worked on my pedicure. I told her that I had an ingrown that was bothering me on the left foot. When she got to it, she decided she was going to pull out the entire ingrown! I was in pain, so I asked her to stop right away! She did not ask me if I wanted my ingrown removed, trimmed or filed, she just decided to yank it out! Several hours later, I am still in pain. Not very profession, eating while they work. Came here today for a gel manicure, since the place i normally go to was closed. The place seemed decent, clean and relaxing, but the prices were cheap. The service kind of reflected it as well. The guy did a good job for the most part, but he didn't put enough of the gel coating on so my nails aren't are strong as they are when i get them done at my usual place. When I walked in the lady did not want to refund me and instead wanted to give a partial refund for the service. She said: "If I refund you, you never come back!" She totally skipped buffing my nails or make them smooth and I asked her why as she was applying the nail polish and she said she did. I said no you did not. This is the first time I've written a bad review on yelp or had reason to; usually when I have a problem I take my issues to the source and deal with it and even if I don't get 100% of what I want I feel that my issues are at least addressed and taken to heart, however not in this case. But I feel it's fair to warn others of the poor customer service and lack of skill at this establishment. My daughter and I decided to get our nails done on a whim and the usual places we frequent were very busy on a Friday so we stopped in here, we are no novice to nail salons and the normal expectations. There was no wait which we thought was good however it was a sign we should have went somewhere else. The nail color choices were slim but we found a color both of us liked. When we sat down I felt hot and the manicurist put a fan near me (so nice!) thus the one star. My water for my pedicure was cold and I was not asked if it was appropriate temperature, I was not asked if I wanted callus removal or massage (maybe they do not offer these choices?) All and all I felt like my pedicure was just a polish change with little to no filing. Not good not bad just, meh. If this review were just about me I would have never made a complaint I just would not have gone back. BUT.... My daughter sitting next to me wanted acrylics and a gel manicure; she also asked for a hand painted design (but was discouraged from this and instead they wanted to use decals so she opted for no design, not a big deal just a fyi) The lady who was doing my daughters nails spent most her time on the phone arranging pick up of her son from school and talking to neighbors that would be caring for him. and not listening to my daughter who several times; politely said that the nails looked uneven and thick. She was told "they can't be perfect" we did not expect perfect just uniform. She felt uncomfortable making a big deal about it and did not feel comfortable telling me that the manicurist did not fix the issues she brought to her attention until we we on the way home. We went to dinner that night and without telling people that she was unhappy with her nails several people told her that the manicure was terrible and if they were her they would go back to have them fixed. Two days later she got up the nerve to go back and ask for the manicure to be fixed. She was made to feel like she was the problem and they told her she should have said something when she was in the chair (which she had several times). She was told again that her nails could not be perfect and they filed them a bit more; she again said they were uneven. She was told that was all they could do. So she left; frustrated with horrible nails. She made her way down the road to Bamboo nails to where they fixed her nails properly and made her feel welcome and told her that the manicure was poorly done. So she had to spend another 20+ dollars to repair the manicure we had just paid for, very unprofessional Legend Nails. If you have had a great experience here fine but this is just ours and you can decide for your self. read more
