I'm sorry, I really love the vibe, love the people, love the options and hand crafted nature of everything. I liked my donut breakfast sandwich, I like the donuts, but everything always tastes just a but too Safeway. I tend to like the super sweet and more standard donut places that just taste fresh and like they're doing the basics at the top of their game. Lots of the items here still feel like a gimmick to me without a strong foundation. I had the donut breakfast sandwich recently. It was good. If the sausage was just slightly thicker, and if they added a bit more sweetness to the donut in a syrup or icing (inside only, lived the dry outside) I think I might have five starred it. It was so close to changing my mind entirely on sweet plus savory, it had the smell, the hint, and now I want more of both sweet and savory in there.

Second time I've tried Legendary Doughnuts. (First time was in Covington, Wa.) This one is located in Issaquah, Washington. It's a small shop with giant doughnuts. Went in and was greeted quickly and with a smile. It was quiet and clean. Prices for what you pick out are reasonable. Brightly lit up so you can see all the deliciousness's. Bought a dozen huge doughnuts and let's just say half a dozen or two doughnuts, would have been just fine! Each doughnut could feed at least two people. They were fresh and yummy and they all have the cutest names...I mean when would you be able to bite Leonardo DiCaprio!? I would still recommend Legendary Doughnuts, for their doughnuts, friendly staff and that doughnut vibe!

I had a 29 year work anniversary, so got 2^2+3^2+4^2 treats for work. We're dorky computer people as you can tell. The lady at the shop was so helpful and into my silly order. 4 GIANT donuts, 9 cannolis, 16 donut balls. The team just devoured these things. I had a peanut butter jelly ball, it was honestly delicious. Also got these outrageously sweet brownies for the family.

These things are fricken HUGE. Literally the maple bar was as big as my head. Soft, yeasty donut with a good amount of smooth maple icing. The cinnamon twists, another favorite of mine, are huge too. So I'm kind of sad I didn't get one. They have quite a few unique flavors, including multiple filled options. It was easy to get my donut as there was no line, and I chatted a bit with the girl working. We both agreed if you want a donut that tastes good, and isn't overhyped like a certain company in a pink box, go to legendary!!!

    As big as my hand!

Teacher appreciation gift card and I got a treat! I've been fortunate enough sample doughnuts from here when our staff is treated to doughnuts. People love to bring doughnuts to teachers. I chose the raspberry pull apart. Look! As big as my hand. A perfect combination of glaze, raspberry filling and a soft sweet dough. Not greasy at all. Almost tastes good for you. This was actually the first time I'd been to the store. Tucked in a busy shopping center with parking out front. Friendly service and a clean store. Absolutely a five star doughnut shop. Enjoy and treat yourself! SYOY!

Other than the giant donut, nothing special in terms of taste. Nice customer service though

Anyone with a serious sweet tooth would love this spot. See their website for the vast doughnut selection, although they don't offer all of them each day. Each doughnut is classified as either Legendary (L), Famous, or Amateur (A), which also determines their cost. We got 5 Legendary which came to $17.45 total ($3.49 each) and 1 Amateur at $2.49. If you order a Legendary Dozen, it costs about $29, decreasing the cost per piece. Most of the Legendary and Famous doughnuts appear very decadent, complete with various toppings and frostings. As you can guess, the Amateur ones are your basic options, like maple bars, powdered sugar and old fashioned. The shop was pretty busy around 11:00A on a Saturday, but a friendly employee efficiently moved the line along pretty quickly. We picked up a few doughnuts for my grandmother's birthday and cut them up so we could all try a bit of each. + RASPBERRY PILLOW (L): A glazed square "pillow" came stuffed with the most raspberry jelly I've ever seen. When we cut it in half, I was shocked to see a majority of the interior was jelly rather than the doughnut itself. I only had a quarter of this and a whole one would have been sugar overload. + TIGER TAIL (L): If you want a less sweet option, I recommend this glazed cinnamon twist. The doughnut itself is huge and easily two servings. It had a mild cinnamon flavor swirled throughout. + CONAN THE BAVARIAN (L): Between the thick custard filling and rich chocolate icing, this is a very indulgent doughnut. It was delicious, but very sweet. + DOUGHSANT (L): This is Legendary's version of a cronut, or a doughnut and croissant hybrid. It's airy and flaky like a croissant, and glazed like a doughnut. This is a great lighter option. + PUMPKIN BRULEE (L): A round raised doughnut topped with a pumpkin spice and brown sugar bourbon cream. Sugar is sprinkled on top so they can also torch it if you wish. I found this one just okay... rather than having a pumpkin flavor, it was more like a very sweet brown sugar cinnamon. + MAPLE BAR (A): Except for the size, this was your typical soft and scrumptious maple bar. It can be shared easily since it is massive! Notes: * Interestingly, they charge an extra 3% for using a credit card, however they also have a sign stating they are cashless, so I can imagine many customers end up incurring this fee. * The employee packed our doughnuts in a square box with three of them on top of the others. It would have been better if they used a larger box so that all the doughnuts could lay flat rather than half of them getting smashed.

    Humongous delicious maple bars!

Delicious, fresh and huge donuts! My husband thought he died and went to heaven biting into a colossal maple bar! For health reasons, we'll be visiting occasionally...but kudos to the owners!!!

    Various donuts

Summary - Great donuts. Terrible service This was our first time there. We went on a Sunday around 230. There were plenty of donuts to choose from which was surprising since I expected them to be pretty picked over at this time. They have traditional donuts that you would expect to find as well as many unique donuts that also look like they would be very tasty I took photos so you could see for yourself the types of donuts that they have. They are all labeled. They do not have any gluten-free options. The gentleman working seemed like he would rather be anywhere but there. My husband asked how someone goes about choosing because there are so many great options and he responded monotone with "they look at the donuts and then they pick one and they tell me and I get it for them." Then I asked him if he knew if any of the donuts or dairy free other than butter since butter is OK. So he told me to read the sign, which said barely anything about allergens, and did not answer the question. But clearly, he was done discussing the subject so I didn't ask any more questions. Ambience was just OK. It was neither here nor there. Just a donut shop. Nothing really to speak to. We just got one donut each and they were as tasty as any typical donut. So given the choice, I would probably give my business to another shop because of the level of service.

See picture... need we say more??? These folks know how to blow minds T'was the hit of the party and so soooo good.

Maple bar (left) Tiger twist (top) Pumpkin brûlée (top right) Apple (bottom right)

Their fall flavors are POPPIN this year!!!! Multiple kinds of pumpkin/apple/cinnamon among the classics. The pumpkin crème brûlée was torched in front of us and gave it a fun crispy top layer and the cream itself was so good. Their donuts aren't overly sweet and they're HUGE. We planned to get 6, but seeing as the maple bar and tiger tail (cinnamon twist) each could be 3 donuts alone, we went with 4 and that was more than enough. Got them for my work crew on a rainy day (we work outside) and will definitely be coming back.

    Chocolate covered donut with sprinkles
    Emma S.

"I was out running errands, feeling a bit frustrated because I couldn't get everything done that I had planned. Then I noticed Legendary Donuts in the same parking lot, and I thought, 'Emma, let's check if they have your favorite donut.' I'm obsessed with chocolate donuts covered in sprinkles, but it seems like I can never find them anywhere. I walked in and asked if they had one, and although they didn't, the staff member said, 'I can make one for you right now!' I can't even describe how delicious that donut was--it completely turned my frustrating morning around. The service was amazing, the donuts were incredible, and I highly recommend this place. I'm definitely coming back!

I arrived before another customer, but because I was still deciding which doughnuts to get, I invited her to go ahead of me. As a result, I witnessed her entire interaction with the staff. Before ordering, the customer presented a coupon and specifically asked whether it was valid. The employee took the coupon to the back to confirm, then returned and told her that it was. The customer then asked several clarifying questions about how the offer worked, including whether the doughnuts were preselected, whether she could choose the doughnuts in the second dozen, and whether certain selections required an additional charge. The employee went to the back a second time to clarify. After she returned, another employee also came over and confirmed that the doughnuts in the second box were not preselected and that the customer could choose which ones she wanted. She was told the first dozen would be glazed and she could select the second dozen, with an upcharge for certain varieties. At this point, the customer had not assumed anything. She had presented the coupon before ordering, asked multiple questions, and had the offer confirmed by two Krispy Kreme employees. Based on those instructions, she then spent approximately 10 to 15 minutes selecting the individual doughnuts for her second dozen. Only when she reached the register did a manager, Jose, become involved. He reviewed the same coupon and told her it was not valid for the order she had just assembled and that it was only valid for the specific assortment pictured. The customer calmly explained that she had asked about the coupon before ordering and had repeatedly confirmed what she was allowed to select. She reasonably asked whether an exception could be made because she had simply followed the instructions given to her by Krispy Kreme employees. Jose refused, saying the company was "very strict" about its coupons. I completely understand that mistakes happen. Jose explained that one of the employees was only on her second day. But this was no longer simply a new employee misunderstanding a coupon. A second employee had also stepped into the conversation and confirmed how the coupon could be used. More importantly, this is exactly the situation in which a manager should take responsibility for the store's mistake, honor what the customer had been told, and then correct the misunderstanding with the employees afterward. Instead, the customer was expected to bear the consequences of Krispy Kreme's error. By this point, approximately six customers were standing in line watching the exchange. I eventually spoke up because I had witnessed the entire interaction. The customer was not rude, demanding, aggressive, or trying to take advantage of the promotion. She had gone out of her way to make sure she understood the terms before ordering. This wasn't a difficult customer trying to bend the rules. This was a customer who did exactly what she was supposed to do: ask first, clarify the details, receive confirmation from two employees, and follow their instructions. I worked as a waitress for 10 years, so I understand that there are often two sides to a customer service issue. That is also why this bothered me so much. Good customer service is not about never making mistakes. It is about how you handle them when they happen. A competent manager could have resolved this quickly by apologizing, honoring what his employees had already confirmed, and addressing the policy internally afterward. Instead, Jose chose to make the customer absorb the inconvenience and frustration caused by his staff's mistake while an entire line of customers watched. If this location has surveillance footage, I strongly encourage Krispy Kreme management to review it. You will see exactly what happened and how calmly and reasonably the customer handled the situation. I was so disgusted by what I witnessed that I walked out rather than buy the Pokémon doughnuts I had specifically come in to purchase. I regularly make large Krispy Kreme purchases for my children's school and for work, but after watching how this customer was treated, I have no desire to continue giving my business to a company that considers this acceptable customer service. Mistakes happen. Refusing to take responsibility for them is a management decision. In this case, that decision reflected extremely poorly on both Jose and Krispy Kreme.

Set up: this pastry shop is veryyyyyyy cozy atmosphere! I can see myself sitting here enjoying coffee with friends, or studying here! Love the lighting, the stained glass windows.. ADORABLE!!! Order: Black Sesame Kouign Ammans. The black sesame was mixed into the dough. I have previously only had them where the filling is black sesame. I love this pastry because of the buttery salty caramelization of the pastry dough as it cooks in the solid metal pan with the proper heat. Having it mixed into the dough was a solid 4/5 stars. My personal preference would be to have it as a filling so you can taste more of the caramelization on the dough and not coupled with the black sesame. I was definitely missing that aspect. It was still an ABOVE average pastry! Pastry filled with Ube cream. Yall I had to sit on face time while my boyfriend and his nephew enjoyed this pastry! I was so jealous, they weren't even talking. I'm asking questions while they were shoveling their pastries and moaning with sheer delight! WOULD I ORDER AGAIN: ABSOLUTELY!!!! Black Sean's enjoying Ammans are hard to come by!!! And now I feel like I need to try this Ube pastry that causes ungodly noises!
