We ordered one of each: Honeycomb, Vanilla Bean, Azuki Mascarpone, Pandan Coconut, Butter Pecan, and Strawberry Crunch. Our favorites were the Pandan Coconut and Butter Pecan. The only one we didn't enjoy was the Strawberry Crunch--it was overly sweet and had a slightly synthetic taste. Lovely brioche donuts and lovely staff! I like that they switch flavors every week, so you can keep trying new flavors rather than the same ones. They have savory options too, which is nice. The flavors rotate every 2 weeks and they have a good selection of donut flavors, with fillings ranging from whipped cream to mascarpone cream, cream cheese, and pastry cream fillings. The owner is super friendly and always offers samples, such as her chocolate chip cookie, which is really good! This is a good alternative to The Flour Box as the lines here are not as long. I think the donuts here are a little more dense and not as airy, but they still have good flavor and quality!! Really liked the Cereal milk donut, whipped Ube, Black Sesame, Savory Everything, Tiramisu. Didn't like the Dubai Chocolate one as much, the price was much higher than the other flavors, the Kadayif pastry was only on the top as a topping, and the pistachio flavor didn't stand out as strongly as I had hoped. Really good brioche donuts on the Eastside! We got 4 out of the 6 different flavors and all of them were delicious. The dough was light and fluffy and the flavors were well-balanced and interesting. The flavors change every 2 weeks so we might be back pretty soon to try some new ones! We also got a black sesame latte which was delicious and had a strong sesame flavor. The dough wasn't as light and airy as other brioche donuts I've had, which is usually my favorite part about a brioche donut. The flavor was there, the donut was firm and held it's shape even after 6+ hours. Black sesame and cranberry oatmeal 3.5/5 : the cranberry oatmeal was definitely better than the black sesame. . It has a slight crunch at the edge and chewy middle. Gochuan cheese scone 4.5/5 : love the flavor profile of this one. I wish the outside has more of a crisp but it was all just soft and one note. Over the summer there were long wait times, close to 40 mins. They weren't running things efficiently to keep the line moving. Tried the new seasonal donuts today from Good Lazy! We ordered the apple cider, the creme brulee, the milo chocolate, and the cookie butter. All of them were amazing! IMO, where Good Lazy really stands out is their fillings, all of which are smooth, light (except the apple cider, which was a tad thicker), and creamy. I'm not typically a fan of filled donuts but this is definitely the exception! One thing to note is that the donut dough is just a tad denser than some other places (but still incredibly soft and fluffy!), I think in order to support all that delectable filling inside! But something to note if you prefer fluffier, lighter donuts (which I typically do). I also really liked how the dough is a little less sweet since it really lets the filling stand out and helps balance the flavors. We arrived there at around 9am on a Friday morning and there was a decent line out the door. I'd say we waited about 20 minutes but it was super worth! Overall the donuts were so light and fluffy. They had a light sugar coating around the donut, which gave it a nice slight crunch from the granulated sugar. Yet, despite being coated in this thin layer of sugar it was not too sweet and not overwhelming. The fry on the donuts were also very good as I didn't find them oily. Calamansi Cheescake - The Clamansi cheesecake was fairly tart. Though, I did find it more citrusy rather than creamy. It was more Calamansi forward and I felt like I didn't get very much cream cheese flavor from this donut. Boston Creme - This was my favorite donut. The cream inside was so silky, smooth, and delicate. The flavor of the cream perfectly complimented the softness of the donut. I'm not sure how to explain it, but this donut might be the best donut I've ever tasted. The flavors just worked so well together and were well balanced. Plain - Basically a bite of pillowy soft goodness. Not too sweet, not too oily, no notes, excellent donut! This was from a few weeks ago but I really want to try this weeks matcha mascarpone, tiramisu, and peaches & cream hopefully I'll have time to make it out there this week! Good Lazy Donuts is located in Issaquah. It's in a nice little shopping area and conveniently located. Inside you'll find a display of beautiful donuts and friendly employees doing all the prep work and baking. There isn't anywhere to sit down inside so you're kind of forced to take what you buy to go. There was no line when I went on a Saturday afternoon. While I was waiting for my drink a couple other people came in, but I guess there used to be very long lines. And they used to run out of items. I chose the strawberry lemonade donut, the gochujang cheddar scone and the earl grey matcha latte. It was a little pricey, but expected. I should have asked for a bag, but I wasn't offered one nor did I see any behind the display. It was a little awkward trying to carry my drink and not drop the pastries out of their sleeves. The donut was soft and filled to the max with a lovely strawberry lemon mousse. It was a solid filled donut and I like that they are so beautifully presented with the little slice of strawberry on the top. The scone was cheddary and a little spicy, but my friend who took a bite thought it was just a jalepeno cheese biscuit and I also couldn't really taste the gochujang. It had lots of green onions too, which I think could turn some people off. The latte was maybe my least favorite. I couldn't taste the earl grey at all and it was very creamy. Maybe next time I would get the matcha with oat milk? I guess I prefer my matcha to milk ratio to be higher. A must try! We drove 30 minutes just to try Lazy Donuts. It did not disappoint. The UBE is a must try. Not to sweet, just the perfect touch of ube. The strawberry crunch took me back to my childhood a little. Reminded me of the strawberry crunch ice cream bar. My son loves Nutella and let's just say, no crumbs were left behind! I do think the Dulce de Leche donut was a bit too sweet for my liking. The Roasted Banana was good but not too memorable. The line was long at 9 am on a Sunday. But the service was outstanding. (I arrived a little after 9 on a Sunday morning and still waited 45 minutes.) Finally got a chance to go in person to this already viral shop filled with fluffy and "not too sweet" donuts! My first donut was a bit too yeasty but the other ones were not. The lines can get long and they're not super efficient at getting the donuts out but I guess when you've got a limited supply of donuts you don't need to turn over the lines that quickly. I read a good review about this spot and so glad I decided to venture to check this place out. I arrived around 9:30 am on a Saturday morning and the wait was about 25 minutes. As I entered the establishment the beautifully decorated brioche doughnuts appeared to be awaiting to be enjoyed.
