There was a short wait, but didn't mind because there were plenty of seats available to wait in. The corn dog was made to order with the right crisp factor on the potatoes and melting cheese inside. The service is faster when you order the donuts only and not the drinks or special hotdogs. I've had two different quality mochi donut experiences. Once where they were so oily, you could squish it out like a sponge. Another time was better with the expected mochi chew, maybe because it sat longer before I actually ate it (but the bottom of the box was way saturated). It's in a food court setting and you order via kiosk. The emenu has mochi donuts, Korean hotdogs and drinks. It allows some customization but only add ons. Don't want boba- too bad. When checking out, the screen takes you to an automatic tip where you have 20%, 15%, or custom tip. Found it strange, like asking me to tip someone when I'm doing self check out. What's better than a regular donut? A mochi donut! They are so springy, light and start at only three grams of sugar each according to Mochinut's site. So, we can say these donuts are somewhat healthy in the dessert world, right? Plus, the flavors rotate every week, so you're bound to try something new each time you go. There are two screens for self-ordering with the options being a single donut, box of 3, box of 6 or a full dozen. They also have a selection of drinks and Korean hot dogs. With the exception of the plain one, most of their donuts are either rolled in a sugar coating or dipped in icing, but none of them are overly sweet. I can happily eat one without feeling a sugar crash. These are a few favorites so far: + RASPBERRY FUNNEL CAKE: Sweet raspberry drizzle and dusted with powdered sugar + CHURRO: Simply coated with cinnamon sugar goodness and a bit of honey. They also had a variation once which included flecks of coffee bean... so good! + VIETNAMESE COFFEE: Lightly dipped in a creamy coffee icing. I wish it had a bolder coffee flavor, but I still really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of their drinks based on the ones I've tried. The sugar level on both of these can be altered, however not all drinks can be customized in that regard such as the Pineapple Coco Splash. + DIRTY COFFEE w/ boba: tastes pretty artificial and ended up being quite sweet even after choosing the "less sugar" option. It came topped with a salted crema. + MATCHA LATTE w/ boba: I didn't detect any matcha and the drink was barely even green. It had more of a vanilla flavor, which tasted fine, but not what I expected. The boba was really good though....nice and chewy, sweetened with brown sugar. I saw this place on Seattle Refined and came for the Hot Cheeto Mochi Dogs. Basically a corn dog rolled in crushed hot Cheetos. I know, sounds weird but man, these are great! The Mochi donuts are pretty great too. The texture is different from traditional (Crispy Cream, or Dunk's). They have a pleasant "pop" when you bite in, and they come as 8 small balls connected and arranged in a circle, like a donut. Servers are nice and efficient. Both places I've visited are open air, fast food, conversation is easy but crowds and noise is possible. read more

There's a large staff behind the counter preparing all sorts of mochinutty deliciousness, among other things (like Korean rice hot dogs - which will be next on my list). Before I knew it, my order of three Mochinuts was ready. My plan all along was to enjoy one donut in the store, and save the other two for when I got home. But I was not prepared for the light, sweet, donutty deliciousness that ensued. Before I knew it, I'd jammed all three of those Mochinuts down my piehole. And no, I'm not sorry. This was a pleasant surprise! It had been a while since I had gone to Crossroads mall, so my friend and I decided to go visit the mall. Right when we walked in, we saw Mochinut on the right. This little location is pretty cute! They had two screens that you could order from. One of the screen was pretty life sized, which I found pretty hilarious. I want a TV screen that big! Make sure you double check your final order - we didn't realize until after we got our order that we had clicked the wrong dish! We got the Blackberry cheesecake donut, Chungchun Original Rice Dog, and the Whole Mozzarella Rice Dog. The donut was really good! I thought it looked super cute. The Original Rice Dog was pretty good - I liked how it was piping hot when we got it. The exterior breading was nice and crisp, and the hotdog was nice and juicy. The Whole Mozzarella Rice dog was pretty good too. I would recommend this place if you're wanting a place to snack.
