The last few years my mother has been slowly dying of Alzheimer's/dementia, and my kids and I each missed one appointment a piece because my family needed us to help with my mother. I have quite a bit of dental work that needs done and am the kind of person who pays my bill in cash after each visit. Since Dr Jobe took over, I found her front of the house staff cold and rude. I asked if they might have crayons for my kids to draw with, I had my own paper, and was flatly told no without the receptionist I asked even looking around or asking. ( She wasn't on a call, she was just sitting there) I found the crayons I was asking for under the coffee table in the waiting room. Covid 19 hit, and one of my teeth started giving me trouble. I called on the emergency line (it was a Friday) and Dr Jobe was kind enough to wait a day and call in an antibiotic. She had just had a baby, and I don't need pain meds, so I thanked her for helping me out. I also kept in mind that she just had a baby and I didn't want to risk going to see her with the pandemic going on and her newborn, plus my mother finally died, so my thinking was to wait until either the pandemic was over or I couldn't take the pain anymore. Well, 3 weeks after my mom died, on another Friday no less, my tooth started to bother me again. I called the office to let her know I would be calling to make an appointment on Monday, and was going to wait till then if I could to ask for antibiotics again. No pain killers, I get those through my dr. I let her know that if the pain was too bad I would call the emergency number so that I could get another antibiotic till I could get in. I also explained that the Saturday before I called I had a friend visit from Florida so it would be a week before I could come in anyways, so I could self quarantine, thinking about her and her new baby. Well, after leaving a message on her emergency line, I NEVER received a call back. My kids usually have my phone, but there was no message from her or anyone from the office, letting me know she received my call for help. I decided to let it go till Monday. On Monday I did get a call, asking for my address (which I left on both her messages and she has in her files) and she asked if I was allergic to anything, again I left this information on her phone message AND it's in my file. I left another message answering her questions, and received a call the next morning with no message. I assumed the pharmacy I left her information about on 3 different calls would have it, so at 6 pm that evening I went to pharmacy only to find out it was never called in. The first time I asked for antibiotics, I had to call her two different times to ask her why she was ignoring my request and if I was not her patient anymore why was she not communicating this to me. Again, I have my own pain medication, and by law cannot ask another dr to prescribe me any. So I didn't. I didn't need to, I have pain meds and they weren't touching the pain my tooth was causing. Plus, my kids have my phone most of the time, and at one point she was communicating with me via text because I thought she understood that is the best way to contact me. That or email. I for one want written proof of what is being said between myself and my healthcare providers. The fact that I never left her office owing any amount of money, and I paid all my debts in cash, makes me wonder why she is even in this business. Plus why have an emergency line when you don't even pay attention to those who need you and call it? What kind of Dr treats their patients with such disrespect? BTW, I have NEVER done anything that could be considered disrespectful to Dr Jobe.. My family Dr has been my Dr for over 13 years and has NEVER treated me with such disrespect. I feel like all I did was rest and respect her and her family, and I got nothing but empty promises and ignored. Do yourself a favor and find someone who behaves like a Dr should behave. Not one who ignores her emergency line, then lies about helping you get an antibiotic you desperately need, because with this bad tooth and no antibiotic, all this proves to me is this so called "Dr" doesn't care whether you live or die. No need trying to figure out if your zero balance is good enough for her. I don't complain unless my service is bad, and this is the first complaint I have had to leave for a place of business EVER. Personally I hope I never have to do it again, because I am not into trying to destroy someone's livelihood. All I am trying to do is warn others of the negative experience I went through, so others don't make the same mistake. Somehow, someway, I hope this "Dr" realizes that a patient who pays their ENTIRE bill in cash before they leave the office is a patient worth having. Also, only her and the front office staff have been rude. Everyone else is wonderful.

Place was very nice, people were very nice…read more I went in to get some information about why all my teeth were starting to fall out. I wasnt given an actual reason as to why it was happening but xrays revealed I had a lot of bone loss and the rest of my teeth were all going to eventually fall out. I decided i wanted to get implants until it was revealed that even with "good insurance" that I was told I had, the insurance still wasnt going to even pay for half of the costs of extractions, bone grafs and implants so then we decided my only other option would be dentures. i was told the process and the costs after insurance and paid for what I thought was everything I was going to need to pay for. My insurance maximum which I think was 3 or 4000 and then what I had to pay out of pocket which I believe was under 1000. I had all my remaining upper teeth extracted and eventually moldings were taken of my upper mouth to start the dentures. I was concerned because I didnt want to go long without something to chew or eat with and Thanksgiving was coming up. I was told I would get my temporary dentures very quickly and those would be sufficient until I got my permanent dentures. I returned several times over the next few months for fittings or alignments or whatever was needing to be done with the goal of I guess, my mouth healing and the alignment being correct before the permanent dentures would be created?. Believe me, I kept asking everytime I went in about those permanent ones. Then one day after my appointment and some adjustments to the fit I was told my next visit would be to get my permanent dentures. I scheduled an appointment for that visit and when I got there, I was checking in at the front desk and the person who was checking me in asked if I was going to be paying right now for the new permanent dentures? I was like....excuse me? Paying for what? I thought I had already paid for everything. They knew of my financial situation from day one which was why we went from implants to dentures. I was never told that everything I had already paid for up until that point was for extractions, office visits and a set of temporary upper dentures. When it was all explained to me, I thought I was paying for all of that and the permanent dentures. I was informed, rather rudely, that it was not and all I had paid for was temporary dentures and if I wanted the permanent dentures I would have to pay quite a bit more. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "I am the manager". By this time I was fuming and I dont do well in those circumstances so I told her to cancel the appointment and I walked out. What I feel I got was some expensive extractions of front teeth. The back molars and what not had already fallen out and I received an expensive temporary set of upper dentures, a cute little cup to store my temporary dentures in at night and several office visits to align or refit the dentures while my mouth healed which I thought was included as follow ups in the overall cost that I had already paid.. I believe they intentionally misled me about additional or hidden costs that were never told to me. I believed that my insurance paid and what I paid up front was the entirety of what my bill would be. My advice would be to ask alot of questions. Maybe even take someone with you if you are intimidated such as I was and make sure you make them give you the total cost of EVERYTHING before you walk out that door. I believe they took advantage of me and for that reason I would not recommend them to anyone or use their services again.

The next day I went to the surgeons office but was told they don't put people under and they were not told this or they would have referred me to another surgeon. I had to find my own oral surgeon which took another week. The week after my surgery I called to make follow up appointment but was told it would be a month before I could get in. I decided the next day to try again and this time they said 'oh yes we can get you in next week'. It took 30 minutes to get the temporary teeth off because the young girl didn't know how to do it and had to get help. Finally after all the X-rays I was told it would be 10 days to 2 weeks for bridge to come in but they would call when it was in. Two weeks passed and no phone call so I called to check and was told no not yet. I asked what number they had and they were using my old phone number even though I gave my new number on my initial visit. I told her to change it and she said she would. I waited another week and called again and she said yes it's in. I asked why wasn't I called and she said they called on the 10th of January and left message. I told her no they didn't because I called on the 16th and was told it wasn't in yet and if they called on the 10th it was a disconnected number. Someone was not being truthful. Once I finally came in to get my bridge it took another 30 minutes for the temporary to be removed and they had to had the dentist remove it who should have done it to begin with. Once the bridge was in place she had me look at in and the color was yellow compared to my other teeth. She said they could have it redone but I would need to wait again. When they initially put the order in they didn't do any color comparison to match my teeth. I told her I had been without a bridge since Thanksgiving and didn't want to wait any longer. This office needs to train their personnel how to do their jobs correctly so this doesn't happen to other people. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist office.
