I ordered DoorDash from this place because I have really been wanting a good burger and wings. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, and am new to the area, and I saw this restaurant come up a few times. I ordered the Legends burger with cheese fries, and the Tailgate appetizer sampler. The burger wasn't bad, but I asked for it to be cooked medium. It was definitely well done, and kind of hard. It also came smothered in bbq sauce, and it was really spicy. I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The cheese fries were what other people had described, dry and sad. The sampler platter had really good shrimp and boneless wings, but again, the sauces were too spicy for me. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings tasted just like Sonic's, they were clearly frozen and then just dropped in a fryer. I definitely wouldn't pay the money for those at Legends. The food had really good potential, but for someone like me, the spice level is too much. I really didn't end up eating anything at all. read more

Food and service is consistently good. I would recommend checking Legends Grille out. Nice atmosphere with lots of space and plenty of TVs for you to enjoy your favorite sports. We stopped for dinner while travelingfrom Jersey to NC. It happened that the Phillies and Eagles were both on TV, and we are fans of both teams. It's hard to argue with a joint that's got a 5 hour happy hour 5 days a week, and has some pretty tasty food to boot. The service was really good and they've got a metric f***-ton of TV's for sports with your own personal stereo at each table for the in game sound from afar. This place is amazing. The wings are to die for. Perfectly crispy and saucey without being mushy. Not to mention to flavor is awesome. I also ordered the fired pickles and the Chipotle mayo is not to be missed. It would go great on anything. The star of the show however is their chicken dip. It's got great buffalo sauce flavor and cheese and it's just a great food to eat anytime of day. The service makes it. Everyone is so friendly and has a wonderful personality. Legend's is a great place to eat and go in and watch sports. My daughter and I go there often. The chicken parmesan dinner and the steak and cheese sandwich (the fries with the Legend's fries season is the bomb) are our go-to's. We were visiting family for the weekend from Philly, and they brought us here for dinner one night. As a sports fan, I must say I LOVE the decor. All of the TVs showing different games and cool sports memorabilia make me feel right at home. And what else should someone in a place like this eat but wings? I had the hot and Hubby had the chipotle bbq, both bone in. They were both super meaty and delicious. I also loved how affordable their beers were, and for a pretty decent selection. This is my favorite place to get wings in Spotsylvania / Fredericksburg area. The wings at Legends are delicious and they have many flavors and rubs to choose from. I highly recommend trying the chipotle bourbon sauce, old bay, salt vinegar, lemon pepper and Caribbean jerk (dry rub). For appetizers, I suggest the bacon cheese fries and the cheese curds. The location has multiple screens displaying pretty much most of the live games for different sports. The staff is friendly, and the customer service is phenomenal. I've been visiting this place often for over two years and I've never left disappointed. If customer service is important to you, ask for Brandon to serve your table. One thing I love is when sports bars have the little audio boxes so you can choose what game you want to hear. I love that. Went during a Capitals Hockey game but I was able to watch and listen to the Cavaliers basketball game because of the box. The food was really good. I had a steak and some wings and they were delicious. No complaints whatsoever! Drinks were good too and the waitresses ive had have been really nice and polite. And the staff has always been good looking so that doesnt hurt anything either haha. Overall though, Ive had nothing but good experiences here so far since moving here in April. read more

Legends is a great place to eat, drink and socialize. The beer on tap is at an excellent temperature, clean glasses every time. Bartenders are well educated in drink menu, and have a flair about them. Makes it exciting to sit at the bar. They have a great menu, appetizers are excellent.....Cobb salad is really good. Another Horrible experience. We had a poor experience last time but we wanted to give it another try. Our food was cold and very very dry. Our waitress was too busy cleaning her section (I'm assuming she was cut) instead of consistently checking in on us. We needed several refills that stayed empty. Normally the food here is average. The restaurant was clean. The restaurant was not busy at all, maybe 5 tables occupied in the main dining hall. We were greeted by a hostess who seated us after answering a phone call and taking an order, a waiter was at our table fairly quickly and our order was taken in a timeout manner. Drinks and food came out rather quickly but the food wasn't cooked well. The skin on our wings was not really cooked. The meat was done but it was as if the chicken had been steamed or boiled. The burger tasted as if it had been dunked in water to thaw then cooked and was extremely bland and watery. The cheese fries were kind of hard on top as of it set under a broiler too long and some bacon was dumped on top. After walking by our table several times we flagged the waiter down for ketchup as he was not stopping to ask if we needed anything else as he was busy chatting with other tables for minutes on end about life in general. Maybe they were friends? Maybe regulars? He finally came back long after we finished our meals to ask if we needed more beverages which by that time we just wanted the bill so we could leave. At this point we will not go back. We used to love this place but since they have moved it seems everything has gone downhill. read more

For the second time since we moved to Fredericksburg, Husband and I had lunch at Legends. When we were there before, it was during football season and was full of sports fans watching the multiple games on TV's. It was fine. We just didn't go back. Yesterday we tried it again, partly because of a coupon. Well, it was very quiet yesterday. On non-football Sundays, it might be quiet. That was okay. I was a bit worried because sometimes when you are the only customers in a place, the kitchen can be painfully slow because they don't have their rhythm yet. Not the case here. We ordered the nachos -- the waitress recommended a half plate. When it came out, I could see why. The half plate is more like a normal sized portion in other restaurants. The nachos were okay -- tri-colored chips with chili and cheese sauce -- Husband described them a "bar nachos." I won't dream of those nachos but they were serviceable. We both ordered hamburgers. I had the mushroom/Swiss and Husband had the bacon cheeseburger. We ordered them mid-rare. The burgers were very, very good. Perfectly cooked. They arrived quickly. They were big -- maybe six or more ounces. The 'shrooms and the cheese were generous. I wasn't a big fan of the fries. There were plenty of them but they just didn't taste right to me. I'm not sure if it was just me (although when do I not like fries?) or if it was the fries. Husband ate his. The cost of the burgers, even fully loaded, was less than $9. They came with fries. Comparing them to the other burger place, they were less expensive.. Service was very good. She was polite and cheerful (even though it must stink to be that slow). When I pulled out the coupon, she said "Oh, cool!" Most servers don't care for coupons so her reaction was refreshing. So, we'll not wait nearly a year to go back! read more

Became a regular to legends about 6 months ago. All thanks to our favorite server Josh, Josh is always full of energy and is highly attentive. We never have to look for him or wait to get anything. The kitchen staff always seems to adhere to their recipes because everything we have ate here is out standing. Even got the rare pleasure of having breakfast here. The service here has been great overall. The burgers are wonderful! The salads are a great size for a meal, the appetizers are all pretty good, but the pretzel dogs were just nasty. The service is good. We were seated fairly quickly and the waiter was great and attentive the whole time. From all the 5 star reviews on Google, we expected a lot more from the food. My boyfriend's ribs were okay, definitely not the best ever. Kids had mac and cheese and seasoned fries that weren't actually seasoned. (They didn't care, though. Fries are fries, lol). The mac and cheese had a lot more flavor than the average kind from other restaurants. My burger was okay. Was expecting more bbq sauce, but the beef used was good. Came in yesterday and sat in the first booth by the kitchen and what i seen was HORRIFYING. MANAGERS TOUCHING FOOD with their bare hands. That lettuce, tomato & onion you put on your burger or sandwich just know it's been touched by at least one manager with their bare hands. Your fries you eat? The managers pick it up when it falls and put it back on your plate. It's absolutely DISGUSTING. I won't be returning. I didn't even eat my food, after seeing that i was disgusted that a manager could do that! Imagine what the other staff is doing. First time being here. Stopped in at 5:30 on a Saturday night. Was promptly seated and sever came to the table quickly. We had the Bavarian pretzels which were very good. I don't use the sauce but my husband ate it all and said it was good had the pulled pork sliders with fries. The sliders were good but could use a little more sauce. We made the mistake of showing up on a night with a UFC event. The bar was packed -which is good for the establishment but not so good for the wait staff who seemed pretty harried. The place is a little rowdier than I'm comfortable with. There was some pushing and a fight out in the parking lot. Our waiter said that such occurrences were "not common but not uncommon either". I'm not sure what that means. The food was okay. A little expensive for what it was but tasty. There's a decent selection on their menu. I had the buffalo dip and it was pleasantly spicy. My friend had the "hot hot hot" wings and they were surprisingly not. The chicken was good but they had only a bare amount of heat. Since that night I've been back and ordered the wings myself. This time the hot hot hot wings were great so there's some inconsistency with the kitchen. As a bar, they have a decent selection of beer. Their specials are reasonable while their regular prices are just north of the average in the area so not unreasonably high. They have Guinness on tap so that's pretty important. read more
