My family has been going to Legends in Concert for yeeaaaars (among the other theater shows in Myrtle Beach). Legends has always been one of our favorites because it's consistently one of the better shows to enjoy in the area. Some type of an Elvis impersonator and Blues Brother act is ALWAYS present in any Legends lineup...and the lineup you see really does matter. This is why sometimes a Legends lineup is EPIC, while sometimes it's just "meh." That's the risk you run with Legends. On this most recent visit (my first since their relocation to their current location) we had a really strong lineup that included the Blues Brother, Alan Jackson, Steve Perry, Michael Jackson, and a 68 special leather suit Elvis . I will say, this was the first time I realized that the musicians aren't actually playing live music but merely pantomiming to a recorded track...it became very entertaining after realizing that to watch how some of them really got into their role. The best example of this was Mario on the keyboards. That man was fake playing that keyboard like his life depended on it and like he was having the best day of life...he was honestly more entertaining than some of the lead entertainers...whatever Legends is paying him they need to give him a raise! If you're in Myrtle Beach and looking for a fun way to pass the evening Legends is usually a safe bet! read more

Went here with my parents and a few friends on Saturday August 16th 2025. Due note that we were invited to see this show again, and decided to go. This show was with Pat Benetar, Cher, Anne Wilson of Heart, Prince, and Michael Jackson. Again show was 2 hours with an 15 minute intermission in between. First off, we also had very good seats, and were able to see the performers well. The show was hosted by Cher, and the first act was Pat Benetar. Pat Benetar sang "Shadows Of The Night", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", and more. She was also very good. I was singing along to some of her songs Next was Anne Wilson of Heart- now I didn't know much of this music but, now I know. Anne Wilson sang "Alone", "Barracuda", and some other hits I didn't know or recognize. some of the other people in my party were singing along though. Oh and little feedback, not sure if she did sing this, but she should have sang "What About Love". Also, there were backup singers that stayed and sang for all the acts. Also, in between they did duet songs that weren't necessarily their songs, but 80's songs. For instance the 1st act closed with "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey and Cher, Anne Wilson, and Pat sang it. I really liked the usage of that song because well lots of people know that song, and One wants to have everybody dancing. Even prince and Cher did a duet during Prince's set. Regarding Cher's set, I don't know any of the song titles, but I did recognize some songs because I recorded Cher at the Miralex that my mom had recorded, and I put that on the tape, and some of the Cher songs were on there. It's always good to have shows where one recognizes the artist. It helps people enjoy it. Next was Prince's Set- he sang "When Doves Cry", "1999", "Purple Rain", and more. Ironically that day I listened to some Prince on the Sirius XM Jonas Brothers Greetings from Your Hometown station. Finally, the last act was Michael Jackson. He sang "Billie Jean", "Thriller", and other songs. Oh, and the closing song with everybody was a Jackson 5 song called "Dancing". Again Michael Jackson has such an extensive song list, it can be hard to narrow down songs. Oh and alot of the singers looked and sounded like the people that they portray. I must say, I liked this show better the second time around! Especially with the addition of duets within the acts, that are 80's songs. Now I still know some of these songs from just the radio, cds, and movies. What i wanna know is When will they do a 90's or 2000's show? Oh, and the restrooms there are easy to find and clean. Also took a pictures with Prince, Michael Jackson, Cher, and Pat. Fun interacting with them afterwards! read more

We've been going to MB for many years and have gone to a number of local shows but we never tried Legends until recently. It was my husband's 60th bday and he's an 80's music fanatic so it was perfect! We had multiple generations in our party (5 thru 80) and everyone loved the show. The performers were all fantastic but the Michael Jackson impersonator was AMAZING!!! They all went out to the hallway after the show for a meet & greet with the guests. They seemed genuinely happy to chat with everyone and pose for photos. It was a fun night and would recommend the show to anyone that loves music from the 80's! read more

We visit a few times a year and have been going back since they changed out Michael's. Such a breath of fresh air to see someone that actually looks like him. I've been to other shows that claim they sing live, well, this cast actually does. They're a lot of fun but Michael is the icing on the cake. His resemblance is uncanny. His vocals and performance were on point! It was a bit warm in the theatre but the performers managed to beat the heat. The meet and greet was fun as well. He was so kind, charming and funny. What a great entertaining show! The only issue we had when my husband was ordering the tickets it took him to Vacations made easy so he thought that was the only place to buy tickets. First, we had to drive all the way to Broadway at the Beach to get them then they tried to get us to go to a time share presentation for 2 hours. We are local residents. Then the price of voucher was $61 compared to $47.95 ticket price at Legends. We learned our lesson. read more

I have friends in Myrtle Beach that I visit quite frequently. Every time I visit they always try to get me to Legends. Well I finally went. I figured ok what's the harm in going to see some impersonators just to get them off my back? This isn't just some impersonators; it was and is SO much more. Legends presents a professional,quality experience. I was amazed at the entire production. This event is the best thing to do in Myrtle Beach! You could literally close your eyes and it would be like you are seeing these legends in person! The performers are dead on! Not just in their voices, but in the costumes and mannerisms each singer portrays. These amazing people actually portray the artists how they really are ( were). The venue is clean and filled with so many friendly and professional staff members. The entire experience beat anything I've done in a long time! Worth the ticket price, although if it were higher I'd still go because it's worth it. Makes a fun date night or family outing! Thanks Legends! Rock on! read more

Reasonably priced, with plenty of parking, super performances and right across the street from Broadway at the Beach, this show has everything going for it. The theater just self is big, but not so big that you can get lost in it. Buying the gold tickets gave you a great view, but so did the silver seats which we had and they were just fine. The lineup for the show I saw was Cindy Lauper, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar, Michael Jackson, and the Blues Brothers. To me, the Blues Brothers were hands down the best, but I enjoyed them all. The musicians were also top notch as were the back-up singers who did much more than stand around and look pretty, which they also did. The concession stand sold drinks and snacks like popcorn and candy for pretty decent prices. After the big finale, the cast comes out and you can get pictures and autographs. Oh yes, my wife says to say there were plenty of stalls in the ladies room. I couldn't have picked a better activity for our first night in Myrtle Beach. It will be tough for anything else we do in town to best this. read more

I'm sorry but I do not recommend this show because the dancers in my opinion did not give it all they had for dancing in front of a crowd. The performances was nothing to brag about. The Elvis performer was boring to watch that's why I'm catching up on my reviews. I've been watching the videos on the big screens. Michael Jackson performance was mediocre. This is a really good venue. All of the seats provide a clear view of the stage. The management and staff are super friendly and very accommodating. The show that we saw tonight featured some really good impersonators. The Jason Aldean and Michael Jackson impersonators stood out. They are extremely talented and kept the crowd engaged. The band was excellent. The lead guitarist and drummer were very, very good. A surprise, and maybe it shouldn't have been, were the two female backup singers and dancers. They supported each act and were themselves very entertaining. Both had great voices and made each act look even better. It was a great show and well worth the price of admission. We enjoyed a great night of music and entertainment at the Legends. read more

WE HAD A FREAKING BLAST AT THIS SHOW. Five acts - Barry White, Johnny Cash, the Blues Brothers, Adele, and Elvis Presley. My God were these people talented. The guy who played Barry White looked like him, had that deep rumble seat voice, and did a great job. He said a lot of "Oh Babys" in that deep voice and had the ladies swooning. The Johnny Cash guy was really good too, not only did he look and sing like him, but he did a great job playing the guitar like Cash did - holding the guitar neck way up high. He was great. For my money, the two Blue Brothes stole the show. Man were they great. The guy who played Belushi looked just like him and sang like him. But the guy who played Ackroyd was scary good. He had his rapid fire deadpan delivery to a T. He had his manic dance moves down to a T. These guys were great and funny and engaged the crowd. They were terrific. The Adele character had a strong voice and did a good job except for her opening song "Skyfall" which didnt have the power of the original. I thought "Adele" was an odd choice for this show. I would rather have seen someone from the time period represented- maybe someone like Chuck Berry or Tom Jones or James Brown or Diana Ross? The Elvis guy was last and he had a great voice, great dance moves, and a winning personality. He didn't look much like Elvis, in fact he reminded me of Steve Martin's smirking Elvis-like dentist character in Little Shop of Horrors. I liked the way he asked the crowd for suggestions and played them effortlessly. For $50 we had great seats in the second row, and got a lot of laughs. Can't beat that at all, can you? read more

As a musician, it is harder to impress me. The acting and costumes were great. The impersonators really look the part. The band is good, and the dancers are GREAT (strongest performers in the house). The actual impersonators did not seem as strong of singers/dancers as the band and back up dancers. The sound was terrible; we could barely understand some of the words but the vocals and guitar were super loud. We could barely hear the bass or backup singers. As a musician this really bothered me because legends deserve to have their MUSIC and CHOREOGRAPHY honored by the best performers. When the backup dancers/singers are stronger performers, it makes me wish they were at center stage instead. I guess I just can't enjoy this type of performance because I care more about the musicality than the appearance of an impersonator. read more

Extremely low-budget celebrity impersonation show. My family and I decided to catch a show because their timeshare provided complimentary vouchers. We showed up on a Thursday evening (9-10-15) and the acts consisted of Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, the Blues Brothers, Reba McEntire, and Elvis. Legends is located right across the street from Broadway on the Beach and the people-watching over there is more entertaining. The theater seemed old and the audience was filled with even older patrons. Seriously, I was the youngest person there by AT LEAST thirty years. There really isn't a bad seat in the theater since it's on the smaller side. Don't listen to ticket-sellers who promote 'VIP' or 'premium' seats. They are not worth the extra dollars. The acts all interact with only those sitting in the first two to three rows in all sections. There is a concession stand that night was manned (or should I say woman-ned?) by two extremely lovely and friendly ladies. They sell sodas (coke products), bottled water, wine ($5 for a plastic cup), coffee, and those bud light lime-a-ritas and strawberitas. They also sell boxed candy and popcorn. If you so choose, if you stay behind after the two hour show, the acts take pictures and sign autographs (why?! I have no clue). If celebrity impersonation shows are your jam, then I'd say definitely check out the show since they have a rotating list of performers throughout the year. We had an absolutely wonderful time with our party of 3. The performance lasts about 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission. There are concessions available in the lobby (drinks, alcohol, snacks). The performers we saw were: Elvis, Donna Summer, The Blues Brothers and Michael Jackson. Every act was incredible. In particular, Elvis and The Blues Brothers were fantastic with audience interaction. I would also like to highlight the back-up singers who really put on a wonderful performance and really worked. In particular, Olivia was a standout. Lastly, the band was just wonderful. Every member (drummer, lead guitar, bassist, keyboardist) were energetic. I highly recommend if you want to attend a great overall show. read more

We're a couple in our 70's who were in MB a day ahead of the rest of our family. Stayed across the street at the Fairfield so just walked over. I wasn't wild about going but I'm glad we went. It was very enjoyable and we had a lot of laughs. Some of the performers were excellent. At least one of artists played more than one part in the show which was sort of odd. It's difficult to be convincing you're the person when it's obvious you just played another. read more

Super cheesy. Packed with bus loads of retirees. Tickets were free and it was a rainy evening so all in all it was ok. Some of the impersonating was good others just eh. MJ, Tina Turner, Blues Brothers, some country guys hahaha! I guess it's just not my form of entertainment. The crowd and my companions seem to love it. My friends go every time they vacation there. The venue was nice though, snacks available and of course a gift shop. You get the opportunity to take your photo with some of the stars and the pics are available for purchase after the show, although why you'd want one is beyond me but hey different strokes... read more

OMG! WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW! Everyone was great but MJ to me was the best. I didn't know what to expect. First was Elton John, he was good, funny, then Blues Brothers, hysterically funny, then MJ, what can I say King of Pop. So authentic, Omg!! then intermission. I really like these tribute performances. We ordered tickets on line. Great seats were still available only 1 night in advance. Picked the tickets up in will-call. The theater is older but most seats are good for viewing. Seats were comfortable enough for 2 hours. Concessions are available for purchase. Bathrooms clean and ladies a lot of stalls! We saw Elvis, Luke Bryan, Blues Brothers, Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson. I liked Elvis and Michael Jackson the best but they were all good. The tribute shows in Las Vegas are better at half the price but we were happy with the performances. read more

We did not see the Legends show. They had a special viewing of Menopause the Musical. Wonderful play. The seats were great. the price was good. Only one complaint and that was that the gentleman seating people could have been a little friendlier and did not know if the performers would come out to visit the audience. They did and everyone was happy. Great cast 2018. And stay at the Fairfield in walking distance. read more

I've had lot's of fun here ever since i was a kid. Ive been a fan of Elvis ever since i was 3 and being there felt like i was actually seeing him. Of course i wasnt born when he died but the preformer was really great! It's not just Elvis that was spectacular, It was also The Blues Brothers, and Steven Tyler! I'm not a fan of Dolly Parton, but i did enjoy her preformance! But Lady Gaga was pretty bad! I met the Blues Brothers and they were really funny! It would be even more cool if David Bowie was a legend and someone would preform as him, Since he sadly passed away last January. Keep up the good work. :) read more

The performers did a great job, but at some point during the show one of the shorter blues brother's performers made an inappropriate "joke" about watching the female dancers through a peephole. After this I continued to watch him and It instantly made me and other viewers uncomfortable no matter what they claimed the punchline was. I left early and actually got to speak with the owner about this and he was dismissive about the whole thing! Definitely worth the price of admission. Performers change every couple of months. We saw Little Richard, Johnny Cash, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis. Exceptional performances by each. Incredible resemblance to the stars that they were impersonating. Some a little younger than we are used to, but none the less very realistic. Nice venue. Your photo is taken with a star as you enter the theater and is available at intermission for purchase ($20). The entertainers are available after the show in the lobby for a meet and greet and for you to take your own photos. Nice evening. read more

This business is actually NOT at 301 S King hwy. If you search for Legends in Myrtle Beach your GPS will automatically send you to that address. In the group of people we were with this weekend every single GPS that we had told us to go to the wrong address. Legends in Concert is actually located at the OLD Carolina Opry building on Business 17 in Surfside Beach SC just outside of N Myrtle Beach. i did not get the exact address while I was there but wanted everyone to know about this so I could save you some time and frustration. This is the second time we have been there in the last two years and I highly recommend this place for high quality entertainment. Last night we were treated to music from the following legends. Blues brothers, Dianna Ross, Garth Brooks, Elvis and Rod Stewart. My favorites were the Blues Brothers and Garth Brooks personally. this is very much recommended. read more

I am not a fan of watching people dress up and look like celebrities, however my neighbor had invited me to see the show, and I accepted. I was pleasantly surprised that this small theater provides excellent viewing from all seats. We saw a very, very handsome Alan Jackson, better looking than the original. A very bad Celine Dion look-alike, however, her gestures, mannerisms and voice brought you there. Some Blues Brothers look-alikes danced all over the stage. It was a great show that I enjoyed with my neighbors. read more
