Michelle at Legends Ladera Salon is the best hairdresser I've had in a long, long time. I show her a photo and she performs magic! She doesn't go on about how my hair is too thin for that style blah blah blah like other hairdressers did in the past. She adjusts the cut and style for my type of hair which I really appreciate. Not helpful staff or management about this. if you have a problem they won't resolve it they will just be rude endlessly. Save money be go to. Place that cares. Stacie and Lauren, no. Poor experience here and won't spend money here. They don't value buisness, they're too busy and don't want you to book. Pros: clean, good location, felt price was ok. I use these products too. Nina is absolutely fabulous for hair. I paid $75 and tipped $25. She could charge 100-120 for a cut. But it's a fair price you get the best service. ok- best haircut ever. She could do celeb hair and I think they'd love her. And she was nice to speak to. 100% recommend. She also didn't cut off more than asked. 10/10. She's actually one of the best. talented stylist, perfect cut, nice communication, nice interpersonal skills, she makes people feel welcome and comfortable. Please book with her. she is great. for color I recommend Nina for the same. Nina has nice work and is kind. Fabulous work fabulous personality. These two stylists are absolutely amazing. I went to this salon for the first time, and Bella was my stylist. She was incredibly patient and so kind from the second I sat down. She did my hair one step at a time, one side at a time, and never rushed anything. She didn't chop it too short like so many stylists have done in the past, she checked with me constantly and made sure I liked every little part. She was so careful, so gentle, and honestly just the nicest person. The salon itself had a really calm, comfortable vibe too, which made everything even better. Would not recommend this salon, very over priced. My mom went there for a few years, she has very short hair, and requires a wash and set every week, and a color sometimes. She was charged over $300 for a color/cut and set. Being on a fixed income, this was quite a financial drain on her. Disappointed to say the least. I'm so done with this salon. I had so many beautiful blonde hair pics come through ("recommended") my Instagram which is why I decided to give Legends a shot. Here's a run down: 1. Lauryn: When I called to book a consult I was set up with Lauryn S. Had a consult- she was so sweet she seemed great! On my actual appointment (on a Sunday=empty salon), I was shocked at her unprofessional manner which included dropping F-BOMBS, putting down the company I work at, etc. When I asked when she was going to put the base color on she acted as if she didn't know what I was taking about when I had told her I wanted that in the consult. I even heard her complaining about me in the color room to another stylist! Unbeknownst to her, the music had gone off and I could hear EVERYTHING. The color itself was a pretty blonde but I still had visible roots that I didn't like. And, I was so appalled at her unprofessionalism, there was no way I would have been a return client. 2. NATALIE: decided to give the salon a shot again and booked with Natalie who I also saw on Instagram as "Color by Natalie". I had moved mountains to schedule this appointment- arranging special pick up for my kids at school by family and scheduling ONE month out. It seemed Natalie was a good stylist and I was excited to see her. Well, She had the nerve to have the front desk call me ONE hour before my appointment to cancel because she was sick. Unreal. You couldn't have called me personally, Natalie?! Ridiculous and tacky. That was a first! 3. Paige: unlike the others, Paige was at least professional and didn't cancel. Unfortunately the color was not what I had wanted, even after showing her photos. She made a comment afterwards that it was too hard to do given my hair but why wouldn't you say that beforehand? Made a last min appointment for a Blow out here. They had one for me available. I was 5min early. An assistant or person in training washed my hair, didn't offer anything to drink (water, Tea or coffee or something). My appointment was with Lali. The assistant washed my hair, asked about my blow out (they don't really do blow out, I came to find out... I'm used to Drybar - which has options). The assistant sat me down, and Lali who was supposed to do my hair, directed her while attending to another client to put products in my hair, dry my hair. Once that was done Lali was done I think with her client, came over put more product and dried my hair more. Asked if I wanted curls and then passed me back to the assistant in training. I paid $60 for a blow out done by a person in training who didn't know what they were doing and practiced basically on me! The curls and blow out didn't last for even 2 hours. I didn't appreciate that they took my business but didn't give me the service that I paid for. I don't recommend this place for blow dry. read more

Really bummed! I took my daughter to get pink peekaboo highlights on Saturday. I asked how they would fade out and she said to a light pink over some time. When we got home my daughter put her hair up and I noticed a few chunks of bleached hair where it didn't get colored. It looks like trash!
