First time there and nail tech talked politics the whole time.. it was super annoying. I went to relax and get away from all the politic talk but he wouldn't stop.. I would just nod and say yeah sure.. he was so rough on my hands,. He left them all cut. Second time there I booked a pedi and a gel manicure. They made me wait 30 min and when they ran the water for my pedi it was cold.. finally the lady moved me to a pedi chair that had warm water. I'm not sure what polish they use but it's already cracked and it's been a week. My gel nails have started to peel. Don't spend your hard earned money on cheap quality. read more

This place was terrible. I never leave reviews, because generally as a person who goes to get their nails done fairly frequently, nothing is this terrible. Today I stood corrected. I just left and had 3 nails beds bleeding and scratched in. My nails are average at best after this appointment, and one nail is particularly is TERRIBLE and scratch into the side after it was bleeding post previous gel removal. My previous gel nails were not removed according to correct protocol, instead were eroded using a tool. The manicurist was not helpful when asked a question or when pointing things out that could lead to a poor manicure. I went to this location simply because it was close to my new area of residence. Lesson learned: Do not sacrifice quality for convenience. & PLEASE read the reviews and overall location score, it is not a lie. Update: 2 days later, and my two of my nails have chipped. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I reserved a time for myself and my in laws to get pedicures over the weekend. Not only were the staff rude and rushed, they seemed to drop everything for a couple that came in, including the remainder of our pedicure and the quality of their work. My nails seemed to come out the worst, which is a bummer especially considering the fact that I picked this salon to be a little better experience from my usual place. I had been coming here for about two years and seeing Kathy. However, I had the unfortunate event of getting stuck with Mimi, whom wouldn't even tell me her name. She is supposedly the shop owner. She's a huge asshole with very negative energy. She is down right mean. I didn't even complete my services. I just did a polish change on my hands, paid, and left. She was that awful. A very kind man, that was working the front desk, asked me if he could speak to me outside. He apologized for Mimi's behavior and said that she was "having a bad day." Mimi was mean, unprofessional and just downright hateful. Although I like Kathy, I will never return. That's how bad Mimi made me feel. I'm still pretty shook up just from how unkind and hateful that she was. I hope that no one ever feels like this while they are getting a pampering service or at all. I give it 2 stars because my nail technician was incredibly nice. If it weren't for her then I would have given it 1 star. The pictures speak for themselves. Even my boyfriend said it was the worst nail job he's ever seen on me. I think they do a great job with acrylic nails but are not that great with doing gel manicures. Some nails have a thicker gel coating than others, uneven shape of nails (especially my pointer finger, not sure what happened there), messy gel polish, bad cuticles. read more

So I decided last minute I wanted a pedicure! Walked in.... Sat right in a pedicure chair (in fact typing this as we speak) and had the pleasure of being helped by Lee. She really was a joy to sit with.... Kept making little jokes, asking about me, and making everything look perfect! Only thing I wish I had, a glass of wine to go with this relaxation feeling .... I hate giving negative reviews, but I feel like it's my duty to be honest. I waited over an hour even though I had an appointment. They said they were short staffed, but this was also true when I made the appointment so why not just be honest and not take on more appointments? I had to cancel one of the services that I had planned because it took so long. The pedicure did end up being pretty good, but it was like $10 more than most other places. This was by far the WORST pedicure I've ever had! I made an appointment for 11am for 3 of us...they put us in chairs and didn't even start until 1130. They cut the top of my sisters foot, all of my nails are misshaped and look terrible! Just moving into town, I was looking for a last min place to get my nails done. I was unfortunate enough to come here. I walked in and was immediately given attitude by three workers who growled at me to sign in and take a temperature check while complaining that i had called about two manicures not two full sets. I mentioned I was more than happy to come back another time and they huffed as they sat me down and began working on my friend. The lady who put my tips on was inexperienced in acrylics (she said so herself) and not only used so much glue that im still peeling it off my hands, but used the wrong size as well. I was then passed on to another nail tech who yanked my hands every which way just to file them crooked and not the shape i wanted. I asked if i could file them myself since i'm very adamant about my nail shape and he rudely replied that he wasn't done. I apologized and waited just to find that he wasn't going to fix any issues i had mentioned before he began on polish. Overall the customer service is the worst i ever experienced and my nails do not look nearly how i wanted them to look. I ended up with a $65 bill for nails that i wouldn't have paid $20 for. read more

They added lotion and did a quick 3 mins massage, most places I've gone to do at least 10 mins and put a little bit of effort to help their customers relax, but they didn't even try. I enjoy going here to get my nails done. It's a spotless, beautiful, and fantastic nail salon. They always greet you right away and always friendly & helpful. Also, their COVID-19 safety precautions are great. I feel very safe every time I go. The variety of colors for gel and dip polish is significantly larger than most nail salons here in Reno. I highly recommend going to Mimi. She always does a beautiful job! I am pleased to have her as my nail technician. I showed her a few ideas from Pinterest. She still able to replicate them perfectly! I went here today, asked for something I've gotten done here before and it was not the best thing ever, I had no heart to tell the girl working on my nails that they were not quite what I wanted (I showed her a picture) especially since all the other techs kept supervising her, at the end one did come and say something about the shape being wrong which it quite was, 2 of them are very crooked. Also throughout the process my nails stinged and burned very badly not sure if they're using MMA.... Paid 55 and still had to come home and paint over them with my own nail polish... read more

My daughter called two days before getting her nails done. The tech said it would cost 45.00. My daughter got to the appointment and normally they have you pay first but this place waited until the end. The tech was extremely rough on my daughter, pulled her arm, pulled her nails half off, talked over her head and around her but never to her. In the end they charged my daughter 115.00 for very little they did THEN my daughters apple pay wasn't working which honestly had I not of been there what would have happened? They lied about taking apple pay. They were nasty and one lady took my daughters arm and yanked it as she was trying to do her apple pay. I ended up paying for my daughter though and the woman demanded I tip extremely high which I did not tip!! They surrounded us and didn't want us to leave. My daughters fingers are so raw and swollen tonight and her nails are definitely not worth 115.00. Unbelievable. I will never ever take my daughter back there again. read more

Tried giving them a chance. They don't listen to what you want and are rude about it. I got my nails done with powder I have got them done a couple times before and the males are by far the WORST. was tired of trying to correct him I just took them off when I got home. Another guy did my sisters and did acrylic, he didn't do the design she wanted and chose to do a clear coat on one nail, which you could see it was acrylic, there was a line running through the back. Have also had pedicures done, they cut my nails incredibly short and also were out of warm water which they did not mention before. Had my pedicure with cold water which felt terrible. read more

Beautiful nail salon in Sparks Nevada at Legends Mall. Very nice, clean, organized and sanitary. That said, when I walked in and asked how long for a pedi and full set nails, I was told 'not long, 15 minutes, have a seat at pedi-chair.' They brought me a little mini bottled water which was very good customer service! The stations have little curtains between each chair which is nice so you don't have to hear everyone's conversations. They wouldn't do my pedi at the same time as my nails. Don't ask me why! Is this a Nevada thing? So, I said ok and told them do my pedi-first, then I'll do nails right after........ waiting.........waiting........waiting........25 minutes more waiting.......they said be with you in 5 minutes.... 15 more minutes waiting......she finally turned on the jets and added water so I could sit and soak my feet. I guess that was her way of trying to keep there. Waiting....... more waiting....... so I finally took my feet out of the water, let them dry off and started to get out of the chair. Lady ran right over and started on my pedi. Tech Literally spent only 10 minutes on my pedicure- Tops. No leg massage. No nothing. I paid $32 for crap! See the picture. She cut toe nails crooked. Sloppy paint job. I was so fed up and had been there for so long already, I had no energy to wait to have her fix it. I was DONE WITH HER!!! I'll stay in Cali to get my pedi next time. So so. My daughters and I went for birthday pedicures. Everything is nice and clean, so we did like that however I don't think the massage was very good and that is one of my big tests, other than how long will my toes stay painted for. So I'll update my review based on that in about 2 weeks. Spa pedicure with stones and gel nails run about $60 a person, being that the massage part was subpar, I would probably look into another place next time. Also, the quality of your pedicure experience seem to greatly depend on who you get. My daughter, who is actual birthday is today, had someone that did not do a great job for her, my other daughter however had someone that was fairly detailed. On the other hand though, the chairs were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. Additionally we were offered waters, and I was offered wine, and that was a nice Update: I'd change my rating to 1 1/2 stars if possible. My daughters gel nail polish all fell off within 3 days... 60 fo 3 days? My other daughter, it lasted 2 weeks. I NEVER loose my polish, it just grows out till my next pedicure. I've lost two gel nail polish toes. Additionally, the guy who did my nails cut my cuticle, caused it to bleed, then it stayed tender and red for more than 2 weeks. VERY disappointed for the money we paid. Walmart would have done the same for a lot less, but I didn't want that, I wanted a birthday experience, we didn't get that unfortunately :( read more

GREAT SERVICE! Went there pretty early, but there were customers already there. Greeted as soon as you walk in and very accommodating to us as well. Did the Geli pedi with a gel pedicure, equaling up to $73 ($15 extra for gel, $61 without gel). Thee best $73 I've ever spent on my pedicure. The process for the Geli pedi is AMAAAZE BALLS! They serve various drinks for your own relaxing mode. I come back and fourth from The Bay Area to Reno and I'm happy to say this is my GO-TO when I'm out here. On top of that they're in the same place as the outlets, so when your done shopping, go get them toes done - LOL! read more

A friend and I made an appointment to get pedicures Sunday afternoon after another salon canceled on us. They were very accommodating when we were running a little late. COVID compliant, clean and conveniently located in Legends with lots of parking. I got the deluxe spa pedicure ($41). It comes with a hot stone massage which was amazing. The polish selection is expansive, a good mix between glitters, shimmers and solids. Nails were painted with precision. The chairs are pretty comfortable with massage settings. If I could give negative stars I would. This was the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. I had Mimi. She was basically abusive. I have ticklish feet which I'm sure a lot of other people do as well so I twitch a little during some aspects of the service. Each time I did that she violently shoved my leg back where she wanted it. She got mad very often during this service. She tried to move my legs around and expected I knew what she was trying to do without any verbal direction and got mad when I didn't do exactly what she wanted. It came time for the hot stone massage and she took the rocks straight from the heater and full force touched my legs with them. They BURNED me they were so hot it was like a curling iron touching my skin so I jumped and jerked my legs back. This caused her to fumble the rocks and she rolled her eyes and sighed at me extremely angry with the look "really?!" On her face. It was so uncomfortable for me I wanted to cry. This I can confidently say was the worst experience and is the worst place to go for your nails! Do not give Mimi business she's even the shop owner and she's so mean and violent toward you!!! I went in with my wife and she convinced me to do a pedicure with her. I'm sold. Between the jelly water soak, massage chairs, hot stone massage, footwax, oil rub, sugar scrub, and them getting the calluses off of my abused feet I was really impressed. I was nervous as I'm a man and this isn't the manliest thing but after abusing my feet for years in hot sweaty work boots I feel like I'm walking on clouds! Noticed I was really in need of a manicure. Decided to try and be a walk-in. They got me right in the chair when I walked through the door. This place is very relaxing. Very open and beautiful salon. I got a gel manicure done by one of the techs. I didn't get her name, but she was very calm, quiet, and kind. I'm not one for small talk so this was nice. I have short nails and she did a decent job. A few bubbles in the white i chose, but nothing to terrible. The smell of the products are amazing. Overall very happy with my visit to this nail salon. $30 for a gel manicure, can't complain.
