My husband and I were there to watch the Michigan game, and eat dinner. I drank one beer and one coke while there. A very polite trainee took our order. After an hour, I calmly asked her if our food was ready. She cheerfully offered to check, and came back and nicely said that it would be five minutes more, and we thanked her. Out of the blue, the bartender D. started yelling at us in front of everyone, that "she checked the ticket times, and we ordered 16 minutes after the people next to us." We were thoroughly confused, because we never complainted about that, or anything else. Next, she screamed "do you want to cancel your food?" At this point, I just said yes. I want the owner to know that we cancelled because the obnoxious bartender suggested it (it never crossed my mind to cancel, because that seems a little extreme.) D. needs to go back to bartendering school, to learn how to treat people. We will never go back, because of her harassment. read more

Tried this place as we were in the Fenton area. Not sure why all the negative reviews. This place far exceeded our expectations. There was tons of room, staff was ver friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean . The staff truly went above and beyond to be sure that you enjoyed your experience. They have most nights nightly specials. We tried the pizza and breadsticks. Both were very good with taste. The cheese on pizza was enormous. The toppings were average as well. We will definitely be back. This tavern is downright divy, which can absolutely be a great thing. My experience was mixed, so I will break it down. Noise level is loud, as may be expected. Service is good, food decent, drinks not worth the investment unless you stick with pre-bottled. I ordered an Italian (Stallion) sandwich as a wrap with a side of chips. The sandwich was probably the best Italian wrap I've had, and the house made chips, unevenly cut and perfectly fried, ended up a main attraction on my plate. My wife ordered Stromboli, which was alright, and our daughter's fish and chips was soggy. Not that it's a competition, but I really won that round of food wars at the table! Needless to say, we may or may not come back. I am sure that as you try different things you will find gems among the items, but it could require sitting through a multitude of disappointing visits. Great menu and atmosphere. One lone outdated pool table sits near the entrance. It is roomy so tables aren't packed on top of one another which is nice. Live Music on the weekend. Can be a bit loud. We stopped in with a good sized group following a wedding, to have some drinks and a snack. Ordered the sampler appetizer plate, which had a lot of food on it, but it was all deep fried munchies. I did like that you could pick any 4 of their options, so I was able to try deep fried dill pickle for the first time ever. I would bet all the munchies poured out of a freezer bag, but this place seems much more of a bar than a restaurant. The margaritas (frozen and on the rocks) were fine, but one of our party made the mistake of ordering a Spanish coffee. They served it in a tall glass (not exactly a good choice for a hot drink), with no whipped cream or sugar on the rim. It was pretty awful. At least the waitress let the customer get a different drink, as I'm sure she realized the bartender had no clue. I know this is a sports bar, but I really hate this tendency to have the many televisions so loud you can't hear across the table. Great food. Drive 30 min to get their takeout. Wings are some of the best I've ever had. They have a Hot BBQ that's amazing. All homemade. Beer breaded tenders are to die for. It's the breading like you'd put on cod fillets. Clean and welcoming. Not sure why people have bad reviews. I guess people don't post the great experiences. Only negative. It took 40 minutes to get a burger and and a quesadilla. After inquiring twice, the waitress said she'd get us a 25 percent discount for our long wait. She came back with the bill and said she couldn't do it. Then another waitress came by and said "Lengends was legendary for waiting." The manager did not stop by to help with getting us our food. Other than 1 time we have always had good pizza and service. And on a Sunday the best value you can get anywhere. We will continue to come here for pizza on our Sunday's Came back again so updating my review just a heads up when you order pizza and breadsticks or something to be an app before your pizza for your dinner you need to be specific and mention you want it before your meal. We have ordered pizza from there several times it has been over cooked and some even burnt. We like to support a local neighborhood place. They use to have some of the best pizza. But like just this evening we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, it was way over cooked. The crust was like brown cardboard and they didn't do the flavor crust that I requested. This was even while sitting there waiting for the pizza we stated to please not burn the pizza since our last several were burnt! We probably will look elsewhere from now on. This place used to be great but something has changed in the last six months or so. I ordered a burger and onion rings - the beef patty tasted like a frozen patty from Gordon's food service and the onion rings tasted like hot batter. The legends brew is good as well as the fries but it'll be awhile before we stop back in for dinner. Also, for some reason there were no drink specials on a Saturday night until 11pm (during college football season) which just seems ridiculous when you have a place like the Penalty Box only a few miles away. Not a great place for a family dinner, it is a bar after all, but you may have to explain to your kids that the reason the waitress' butt cheek is hanging out of her shorts are for better tips. First thing when you walk in by the door, theres a good handfull of people smoking (from the poker room) by the door, so you go thru a gauntlet of smoke. Never had a bad meal yet, I'm a bit confused by some of the other reviews ? I'm a business man and frequent many eating establishments. The food at Legends is in the strong mid fare category . The sandwiches and burgers are fresh and well put together . The drinks are fairly priced as well. I sit at the bar for lunch most of the time and the waitstaff and bartenders are just fine. This is a local bar and grill folks, which includes all personality types as any bar does. Have some of you ever been to a pub/bar before? This isn't The London Chop House. Bars are all about the people, every bar will have good time Charlie, hillbilly Jim, easy time Sherry, skirt chasin Sam and Lou the local personal injury attorney . Worst experience of my life. My family and I tried to go in there and have a nice dinner, the bartender behind the bar (Stephanie) was yelling obscenities across the bar, was telling people "they're fuc*ing closed, you need to fuc*ing leave" a gentleman sitting at the bar told her that there was something wrong with his food and she replied "just fuc*ing* eat it and don't bi*ch. will never go back, and highly recommend that nobody else does.
