This place is dirty, and they people don't care, every time I drive past the place on the way to work there are new cars, so either they can't keep people or everyone in Fenton sucks at making pizza (?) I know some of the employees, it's a horrible place to work, not to mention the amount of mold in most the items that they don't realize until someone decides to clean it. Recently moved to the area and cottage in sent me a "welcome to the neighborhood" coupon for a free 1 topping large pizza. Service was fast despite being busy for dinner rush. Ambiance is small, not a place to eat at, take out only. Overall: a little pricey but definitely worth the delicious pizza and sides. read more

A few years ago this would have been a five star rating. After I moved to Fenton in 2019 I found Cottage Inn. The pizza is delicious and service/delivery has always been top notch. I've never had a problem. Loved the pizza and tried many gourmet styles...lots of sauce and generous toppings at that time. But in the last year the pizza I've received has been pretty sub par...the crust is thick - too thick - skimpy sauce and really no toppings. Perhaps this is due to cost saving? I order 2X mushrooms and few arrive on the pie. I used to order about one a week....I've cut back to once a month (if that) . It's too bad cause I do like their food very much. Perhaps it is time to rethink their customer strategy. read more

When I walked in to pick up my food, the young people behind the counter were standing around smirking which made me wonder if they did something to my food. It was totally downhill after that. We wanted an Italian sub but ended up with a ham sub. The chicken Parmesan sub is cut up nasty looking nuggets on some red sauce with no cheese. At least use whole nuggets. And frankly the pizza we ordered tasted pretty bad too. The wings were good but very small. The smirking makes the ambience questionable. Sorry... we will not be returning. We have not been to cottage inn pizza in a long time and maybe this is why. read more

Am a regular customer. I've tried other places, but always come back here. The pizzas and service have always been great and have never run into a problem. (I'm partial to the Spicy Polynesian and Hot & Tangy ones!) In her review, Jeanelle K. experienced a problem ordering online; I did, too, but I just call in my order and avoid the problem. I was thoroughly impressed by the pizza here. I'm an out-of-towner hailing from the land that makes pizza into something more like a casserole (let's be honest, Chicago style deep dish pizza is a food group all on its own), but Cottage Inn was attention getting and has left me looking for an excuse to trek back to Fenton sometime in the future to have this pizza again. Not only that, the breadsticks have haunted my dreams ever since, but in a good way. Cottage Inn ain't bad. Fenton is like a little pizza delivery community, lots of options to choose from for such a dinky lil town. Cottage Inn stands out for their amazing crusts and great toppings. They have several different crust options which is nice, I like the Cajun. They have a huge variety of specialty pizzas and those are what I recommend. Their prices are beyond fair and the service is top notch. Get some ranch to dip that crust in, you will be a happy finger licker. read more

Here in Fenton we have a decent Cottage Inn, I wish they would up their game a little, customer service rushes you off the phone, I've gotten cool (temp) pizza, and a couple of times the order took well over an hour to be delivered. Drove by one night and smelled the pizzas baking, made me hungry - hadn't had pizza in months. Finally caved and ordered an XL deep dish two weeks later. HUGE bust, it was mediocre at best. The crust was not good, lacked flavor, density and tasted bland. There wasn't really any sauce in the pizza and a thin layer of cheese. Didn't even finish half of it and chucked it out. Used to love this place until I got on to place an order today. They advertise a '4' topping pizza special. Go to order it.. they already have cheese checked and you have actually 3 toppings you can choose. I refuse to order from somewhere so deceptive. Its not a 4 topping special its a 3. Yes, they're a bit pricey, but their pizza is simply amazing ;) Especially the Hawiian pizza! And what's even better is this place delivers to rural surrounding areas; I live about 15 minutes out of town and down a dirt road and they still bring me pizza :) read more

We have been customers of Cottage Inn in Fenton, Michigan for about 4 months now. We just moved here, ordering from there, at least once a week with a family of 5. Their pizza and subs are absolutely to die for, but at what cost? I ordered for delivery and wanted to place 2 orders, with 2 different payment methods. Instead they charged my card full amount and took my daughters gift card money as well. With the amount of 48.24 for a medium pizza and 2 subs. That is absurd! I called and spoke with the manager, telling me the gift card was declined. I said yes, after you took all the money off. She refused to listen nor, double check an employees work. I called the customer service number to the gift card and there it was, 25 dollars to Cottage Inn. My daughter is getting her refund, but I am furious! We had some problems with them before, messed up order, dressing missing, etc.. but nothing like this! I just had surgery today and needed our food to be delivered. Now that our food cost us almost 50 dollars, I am unable to eat anything. Unfortunately we won't be ordering from this place anymoreThanks. P.s. The owner and manager of THIS store does not care what comes out of the kitchen. The pizza is obviously reheated after sitting around for hours and tastes disgusting. When we called to complain that our pizza was unedible we were told WE must've ordered it wrong. Please don't waste your money on reheated pizza and children running a kitchen-pretending to be managers for $6.75 per hour, there are plenty of other places around our area that appreciate their customers. read more

I want to start by saying, they have above average pizza and the wings are great, but I can't help but notice when you ask for a dip/dressing on the side for bread sticks or wings that they charge extra, but what really puzzles me is how the ranch dressing pours thinner then milk, I understand if you are a hole in the wall pizza joint that you would water down your dressing to save a few pennies, but when you have the Cottage Inn name to up hold and you are making decent food I don't know why you would sabotage it with watered down dressings. I have to give this a poor rating because of that, who wants to dip an above average chicken wing into water to eat? read more
