Consistently attentive, friendly service and excellent food. Always hot and fresh. We particularly enjoy their pizza both take out and dine in. Crisp crust with generous toppings and cheese. Stromboli is excellent as well. Breadsticks are always freshly baked and soft. Antipasto salad is fresh and loaded with toppings. Their homemade ranch is delicious as well. The restaurant is spotless. We are lucky that we live so close to Pizza Mia and are able visit often. We've never been disappointed in our meals, drinks, or service. read more

LeRoy: I had a beautiful salad with bacon and cheese and tomatoes and onions and iceberg lettuce with Italian dressing and a little ranch on the side and breadsticks. The salad was excellent, the breadsticks were mediocre, but overall it was an excellent meal. Katie: I started with the Caesar salad and it was really delicious. It had mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on it. Then I got the manicotti that was ultra cheesy and very delicious. It was such a big order I probably only ate a quarter of it. Overall I was impressed. I want to give 5 stars, and I would but for 2 petty details, which I will share here before my otherwise glowing review. #1 - The pesky lottery paraphernalia on every table and some tv screens too. I expect that junk at convenience stores and bodegas, not nicer places like Pizza Mia. #2 - The calamari is nothing to write home about, which is disappointing given the other homemade and delicious fare on their menu. The breadsticks are served fresh and hot and delicious. With either the meat sauce or the garlic cheese dip, or both if you please, they are delightful and crave-worthy. The pizzas are really exceptional! The homemade cakes are luscious, and are portioned for sharing. The servers are attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and well-appointed. Calzone...do it, snappy folded crust with a blend of mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. (Not a Stromboli), a true Calzone. May I suggest the freshly made Michigan "Traverse City" salad, complete with glazed pecans dried Michigan Cherries, atop a spring mix topped with gorgonzola cheese and red onion. I found the house dressing, compliments the sweetness of the toppings, with just the perfect vinegar tart finish. It leaves your pallet longing for a splash of your favorite Vino, and a parmesan bread stick, (get both white sauce and marinara) with two orders...trust me. If you are carrying a soccer team ,you can certainly stretch your dollar, at one of the many area chains, however if you understand the difference between eating and dining, this is the spot. read more

Somewhere along the road to pizza they missed the exit. I wouldn't call this pizza, as I would call it baked circular bread with pizza sauce and cheese. The crust has no flavor, and it oddly rips off pieces of the cardboard box when you pull it out. The bread sticks were better than the pizza but still pretty underwhelming. The ranch was absolutely the MVP! Best ranch, like Jet's pizza level ranch. The customer service really saves this place. This place is going down hill. We order salads to go from here about once a week. It is way too expensive for them to be sneaking in iceberg lettuce in place of mixed greens. I paid $30.00 for 2 salads and an order of breadsticks and I got an iceberg lettuce salad with 4-5 spinach leave thrown on top. I called to ask if they changed the menu and the girl didn't even know what lettuce came with the salad. Very disappointing. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

So we order four times here , first two times have been great the last two times the breadsticks we ordered which are not cheap we're old and stale so I called to complain about it and the manager told me that because we ordered so late in the evening we are getting breadsticks that they put into the walk-in and then basically reheated them so you pay seven dollars for an order of breadsticks that set out all day and then get reheated not a good place to eat read more

The food has always been very good. Unfortunately, due to poor communication between the owner and the wait staff, we experienced terrible service and left within five minutes of sitting down. The restaurant was closing 30 minutes after we walked in. The owner, very politely, came up and told us to go in into the dining area and eat. Within 5 minutes, we had three, THREE(!) different employees loudly tell us they were closing in 30 minutes, so we'd have to be out by then. After the first two times, both waitstaff were informed the owner told us everything was ok. This is is very small dining area. It wouldn't take much to spread the word to other employees. When the third employee came up to say the same thing, my children became very upset. As a result, my husband and myself became very angry and frustrated. We left without ordering. Unfortunately, even though we ordered out from this restaurant on a weekly basis, after how rudely we were treated by staff, we will never order from Pizza Mia again. There are other very good Italian restaurants in the area, with much more polite staff. As a business owner myself, I am horribly appalled by the behavior of the staff. read more
