My husband wanted to take me to the doctor to get seen because I haven't been feeling well for the past couple of days. We got there at 10:00 am and I expected a long wait in the waiting room. I updated paperwork with my new married name and turned it in to the front desk. The front desk obviously did not update my information because I was continuously called by my maiden name, which caused confusion. I told the nurse that my name should be updated now according to my insurance. I did not get a response from her. Then when the doctor came in to take a look she kept saying "it is not Covid. I will test you for the flu. I can test you for covid but I do not recommend it cause it will come back negative." I trusted this doctors word. My husband was alarmed because I was showing symptoms of covid even though they are mild (thank the Lord) but we allowed the flu test. The tech came in to administer the flu test and then said it would be a couple of minutes. After 1 hour and 15 min I asked my husband to please check at the nurses station for the test and he came back saying the nurse was "working on it". No one came to check on us or tell us if we were next to have our test results done. I understand the healthcare system is very overloaded and I appreciate/respect all doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. However, we ended up waiting in that exam room for 2 hours without anyone coming to speak with us about my test. When I asked another nurse to please check I told her that they had my name wrong in the system so it could be my maiden name or my married name. The doctor came back into the room and responded "oh it's you." And darted back to find my test results. It ended up being that my results were just laying in a pile and no one had come to check on us. The doctor came back and said my flu test was negative but she did not recommend I have a covid test taken. We left very upset and went to another office called urgent MD and was treated within 30 min of being there and was out by another 20 min. It turns out I am positive for the covid virus. The bottom line is I trusted that doctor at this office to make a diagnosis and to help me get well. But because of miscommunication and no follow up I could have infected hundreds of people at my job, grocery store, and etc. The doctor was somewhat apologetic like I said but I feel as though I was not treated correctly because I did not have severe symptoms. However without proper treatment I could have really developed bad symptoms and also infected many people.

I expressed concern because we were due to travel out of state in a couple of days so Caine told me to call & let them know if I hadn't improved before we left so they could call in a different medicine if need. The person who checked me out was also super helpful & asked if I needed a work excuse. This was great because I had forgotten all about asking for one. If you need to see a doctor without an appointment I highly recommend this team and location

I was super impressed with their MRI office and their pain management office; extremely professional and quick. My experience at the ER was very good but I wasn't able to get in and out as quickly as I wanted and it was CRAZY cold in the waiting area (many of us were given blankets) and I don't normally mind the cold but this was beyond what I've experienced before. It took me 2 hours to get seen, get prescriptions and get out. That said, I was seen by Dr Mah after only 65 mins which was pretty good for an ER figuring I only had painful sinusitis so I was low in terms of priority. Dr Ma was very nice and told me to wait in the waiting area for my prescription paperwork. The thing that got me was I had to go up to the desk 40 mins after leaving Dr Ma's office to get action on my prescription paperwork. I'm not sure much longer I would've been there if I hadn't done that. Luckily I did so I was out in 2 hours. I had to go back in for a meningitis concern on a Saturday which either meant going back to the VA's ER or a MedStop and I chose the MedStop which was a good choice as I was in/out in 20 mins with prescriptions in hand. I still give the VA hospital (both downtown and uptown locations) a FIVE STAR rating b/c my overall experience has been phenomenal in the past 2.5 years.

One of the check in rooms you can clearly see the "not so handy" reconstruction work and upon having to use the bathroom to complete my physical, there is a nasty dirty ring in the toilet bowl, the seat, although I would never sit down on a public toilet...was a definite sign for why I wouldn't in this doctors office. There are bed sheets hanging up in the windows of the back half of the building, which you see upon pulling up in the parking lot, which is not really a parking lot versus being a gravel pit for parking. I am not quite sure how a health clinic can be open and running under these conditions, but if it wasn't mandatory for me to get a physical here...I would have walked out just as quickly as I walked in. I will definitely let my employer know that this is not a proper nor healthy location to send employees to for physicals or any other medically required or mandatory attention. Dr. Brice is a nice and kind man, but in order to know that, you have to either be strong willed and have no health cates of your own, or be blind and have no sense of smell walking in the door.

I've been places where it takes twice that long just to be seen! I established with a physician, Dr. Moore, young and on top of her practice and patients. Doctors usually chastise or wag a finger in a tsk-tsk way to discourage bad behaviors, but for me i need more of a cheerleader -someone who supports my decisions or encourages me to make good decisions. She and nurse Tiffany do that. Because I started working out and losing weight on my own and her enthusiastic support for me in doing that keeps me motivated. I promised that I would continue with my progress and she'd hold off adding another blood pressure med. Goodie! Too much medicine in a person can often cause more problems. Dr. Moore's bedside manner is very good and beats most male practitioners I've encountered who usually grunt, hmm, and and see how fast they can get out the door. What I really found awesome is Tiffany draws blood in the exam room, rather than from centralized hallway where everyone passes through and nursing staff is chatting to each other. You don't feel like a hunk of meat. Tiffany is very good at finding veins so you don't find gouge marks in your arm. Overall they listen, appear to be very concerned for the patient and want to see the patient thrive. Their service makes me actually want to continue with check-ups than to put them off and hope symptoms go away. Established patients also receive priority walk-in service at the after hours clinic. UPDATE: I've been twice and both visits have been speedy yet productive. Highly recommend Center for Primary Care but especially these two professionals!

My daughter is back in school and spiked a fever on Friday. My pregnant wife panicked and so I took…read moremy kiddo here to get tested for covid. Negative, thank goodness. They test later than the one in Grovetown and we were happy to hear that. They allowed me to wait in the car with my daughter and called us for the test and then again when the room was ready. The doctor was patient and didn't rush examining my daughter. Only reason for not 5 stars is because they took her temp under her armpit and claimed she had no fever and was reading normal. I got her home and my wife checked and it was 99.5 so while not 101, it's still elevated. If anything, I'd come back here again.

Many friends recommended MedNow so I drove out of my way to go there just for them to be closed because of the holiday. They need to have a specialized voicemail indicating they're closed (they have a generic one that doesn't indicate if they are closed at the moment or just busy/not answering) so I did call and didn't talk to a person, and Google said they were open, so they also need to update Google hours for holidays. I'm not sure I'll ever make that drive again when there are closer options for me that had better communication about their holiday hours. I'm sure MedNow offers good care but I unfortunately didn't get to experience it and it was such an annoying situation I don't plan to try them again.
