They did not disappoint. The Chicken Kung Pao was delicious! Since it was our first time, we got a variety of things to try besides the Chicken Kung Pao - Peking Raviolis (fried), Pork Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, and General Tso's Chicken. No complaints whatsoever. The food was all cooked to order, fresh, tasty, and huge portions. Our family all had leftovers to take home for a second meal. Our waitress who'd been with Chen's for 15 years was terrific. She made great suggestions and the service was quick and friendly. Sorry I can't remember her name, but she is the one who explained that each meal is cooked to order, not simply warmed up from a large batch, so next time if there is anything special we want (no vegetables, extra sauce, light on the hot spices, etc.) all we have to do is ask. To me that is awesome to know since I'm picky about which vegetables I like and while I like a little heat (spice), I don't like it so hot & spicy that I can't enjoy it. For those looking for information about noise and ambiance - we sat in the dining room (not the bar area) since our teen daughter was with us. It was a Tuesday night so it was pretty quiet which I appreciate these days. From what I could see from where we sat in the dining room, it's a bit worn and dated, but clean. Fine for family dining, casual dress, etc. The restaurant followed all social distancing and cleanliness guidelines and I felt very comfortable eating in the restaurant.
