    Dumplings with their creases

Check your receipt when you get there. They seem to charge way more than what is online. Dumplings looked dry like a sack, but wet and slimy on the inside. No flavor. And service was non existent.

    Small rice

Myself, my best friend, and my boyfriend (3 total people) ordered takeout from Wok Wok. Compared to the other (better tasting, quality, service) Chinese/Japanese restaurants in the area, we opted for Wok Wok, due to the proximity- we never tried Wok Wok before. We ordered 3 entrees (fried rice, lo mein, tso's), and dumplings- a very standard order, usually about $50 max, with WAY larger portions than the teeny tiny morsels of mediocre cuisine we received... SEVENTY DOLLARS. The rice that came with the general Tso's chicken was reminiscent of an American girl doll accessory. The vegetables all tasted like they were microwaved for like 7 minutes, and fried around in soy sauce for 10 seconds. Sack-like dumplings. The side of soy sauce was $1.00. If you are thinking about going to Wok Wok, do not. I recommend you go to Sake House, Lilac Blossom, or even Golden Palace instead. All within proximity, and will not make you feel as angry/scammed upon consumption and payment.

I stopped in for lunch takeout at Wok Wok, which is located in the Lorden Plaza near the Route 101/Route 101A interchange. The atmosphere is a typical strip plaza Chinese takeout place with an order counter, open kitchen and a spacious dining area with several real estate and apartment finder guides for reading pleasure. They offer the standard Chinese dishes, chef's specials and 20 combination platters ($5.75 lunch/$8.55 dinner after 3PM). I got the Lunch Combo 11: Shrimp Lo Mein with Pork Fried Rice & 2 Chicken Teriyaki sticks. The food was ready in under 10 minutes, served very hot. All of the food was pretty tasty. The chicken teriyakis were very tender and juicy. The pork fried rice(tan) had tender pork cubes, onions, and egg. The shrimp lo mein had tender soft shrimp with scallions, vegetables and firm noodles. I would definitely return here for quick and tasty Chinese food, but only for lunch since the prices for dinner combos are almost 50 percent more.

Since moving to Amherst, NH 5 years ago, my wife and I have tried several places locally and have been disappointed every time. Golden Palace was on my radar as I frequent the hardware store in the same plaza. It always looked like it was closed so I never gave it much thought. On 5/17/26 we had a friend at the house and he recommended we try this place. He told us a few years ago that it was pretty good...... We arrived around 4pm. All of the lights were off except in the very front of the restaurant. There were 3 teens at a table but no one else in sight. There was a young, friendly girl at the counter. She asked if we wanted to be seated but we were only getting takeout. While looking at the menu for about 10 minutes with my wife putting our order together, not a single person came in and not a single phone order. We considered leaving as this place seemed a little shady, but we placed our order anyway giving it a chance. Nothing fancy. One entree and a PUPU platter with a large pork fried rice. My wife commented on the way home that it smelled really good, and I agreed. We got home, unpacked it, and took our first bites. I noticed the fried rice had a fishy, like low tide fishy, taste but didn't say anything. She took her first bite and said the same to me. The appetizers had ZERO flavor and were just slightly undercooked and not very crispy. The Szechuan beef was ok. Very tender but lacking in overall flavor. Neither of us ate very much. Just enough to not be hungry anymore. Disappointed at best. It cost us $63 to basically feed the resident opossum in our yard. We won't be back.

The cocktails we ordered were perfect! The food was superb. You can tell it's fresh and cooked to perfection. I got a shrimp dish and my friend got a steak dish. Everything was hot, fresh, and so flavorful. We tried Victoria's pick: Twice Sautéed Pork, Chris's pick: Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Liam's pick: Beef with Broccoli, my pick: Prawn Amazing with stir-fried fresh al dente vegetables, and of course, steamed white rice. Every dish was cooked perfectly--the pork was tender and savory, the seasoned chicken with cashews had just the right crunch, the beef and broccoli in brown sauce was classic comfort, and the 6 large prawns cooked to perfection were a real standout with their mildly spicy, sweet, bold, delicious sauce. The portions were generous, everything traveled well, and it honestly felt like a restaurant-quality meal at home. Lilac Blossom in Greystone Plaza in Nashua is all about abundant portions, amazing flavors, and great quality. We highly recommend giving Lilac Blossom a try if you're craving excellent or consistently fresh and flavorful Chinese food in Nashua or South New Hampshire. We'll definitely be going back!
