Never go here if you want a good haircut. First off my appointment was delayed 30 minutes, but on top of that, the barber completely disregarded my directions for the haircut. I requested a short trim of only one inch, and instead of being precise and focusing on the task at hand, the barber casually chatted away with another customer in the lobby, while cutting off inches of my hair I had no desire to have cut. Of course, it is my fault for coming to this establishment, but now I have a crumby haircut for the holidays. read more

Rolled in on a whim walking by @ 4:10 on a Sunday as I saw someone vacating chair. Barber said he was closing but asked "what you need". Told him I was looking for a #1 back and sides fade into finger length on top. He said "I got you!". Sat down and Benny did me a solid best look I've had in years. Five days later now and it's still tighter than the local joint I go to on the regular, day one. I have walked by this barber shop a few times and since moving to Spokane I have been looking for a new barber. When I walked in there was one barber and he was working on a client. I was greeted and he told me he could take a walk in once he finished the client he was working on. The location is great inside the riverfront mall on the second floor. It was clean and they had comfortable chairs to wait. I asked for a basic skin fade to a 3 up top and he did a great job. The prices are more than reasonable and I'll definitely be coming back here ima couple of weeks. read more

I called to do a walk in and Britney is the one that took me in. I asked to get a low fade with my beard blended and she gave me a whole different haircut the first time, it looked like nothing was cut on the sides besides it being left uneven and with lines left. I was tempted to not even pay her but I'm not the kind of person to not pay someone for their work. I'm just very disappointed in my hair cut leaving with my sides unblended. Now I'm going to have to spend more money else where to get my cut fixed. It's embarrassing walking around like this... I personally think I deserve a refund read more

Great old fashioned barber shop. Located in the mall but have been in business 60+ years. Was in from out of town and feeling shaggy. Walked in and was greeted by Claudia. She did an excellent job, nice neck shave, and great conversation. Guess I got lucky she was available because she does book up and normally doesn't take walk ins but I think any barber there would do well. read more

To be honest moving here from California looking for a new barber was hard but I finally found one to cut my hair. I felt bad because I thought I was getting another barber since he wrote my name down but thankfully I got Brittney. For my fellow Asians out here she's great. Called that morning and got in later that afternoon! The employee that answered the phone was super nice and helpful. Upon arrival I wasn't sure of exact COVID guidelines so waited outside the doors, the barber was still cutting someone's hair. Once I got in the chair the barber (not sure of her name) was incredibly nice and listened while I explained what I was looking for in the haircut. She got to work and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I think it's also worth noting that I was in from out of town for work and needed in and out and they were beyond accommodating for my situation. read more

They just opened up a new location on the 2nd FL in the River Park Square Mall and the price was right, $17 for a cut w a straight shave on the neck. I was in the mall a few days earlier and popped in to get a price. David shook my hand and introduced himself, while mentioning the new location was about to open up. I headed home and Yelped other places an decided to go with the general consensus of reviews... MISTAKE. I'm new to Spokane and originally went to Porter's first, but was turned away since I didn't have an appointment and needed to wait a fucking week just to get one... I'll PASS. They seemed a little too trendy for me anyway. On the way home I tried Quick's and they certainly weren't in any kinda hurry, so I just went home after waiting for 45 minutes, while I wasn't to impressed with the cleanliness of the place anyway... I'll PASS. After some searching I believe I found a home @Leland's On Wall, I'll certainly be back. I walked right in, got exactly what I asked for and it was worth it. True barbers arent dead! I have been to this barber a few times and the out come is always the same, a nice ass razor fade. He actually knows how to use a straight razor, which this is a talent most barbers are lacking in these days. This is a great barber shop. This was my second visit there. First time as a walk in and the second as an appointment. Both times I felt right at home. Like getting my haircut in the living room of my house. Great conversation in a comfortable clean environment. Jacob Rosenberg gave me a great cut that left me feeling fresh and clean. They take their time and do things right too. I often find other places like "The Man Shop" that you are just being rushed through to the next customer. Not here. The prices are legit too which is surprising with how professionally they are. I have been looking for my permanent spot that I can trust for a while and now and now I have it. Went in as a walk in. Was told to come back in 30 minutes which was fine. Sat in the chair and the woman asked what I wanted. I showed her literally a picture of me my prior barber took for his Instagram and said I wanted a fade on the sides down to a 1 and a light trim on top. She starts buzzing me. She doesn't say a word for the first 15 mins. She asks me a question but it's inaudible. She keeps critiquing my hair and my prior barber's work. She looks at me and asks, "do you trust me?" I say she's the professional. She proceeds to do nothing I ask her to. She spends 20 minutes clipping the top and trimming my part and then finally buzzes it completely off. So after about 40 minutes, I now I have no part, no fade, and the back of my hair is uneven. She literally combs the back of my hair and says "that sucks. I wish I could trim this." I had to have my wife fix portions of my hair when I got home. I also noticed the prices posted were $21, well she said it will be $25 and then asks me how much I want to charge my card (for the tip) Needless to say, I still tipped but I will not be returning to or recommending Leland's. read more
