Tons of fundraising happening at the event, from the dinner to silent auction, wine bar, martini bar, best hat contest, live band. and all monies go to help Mentor Me Petaluma. This organization continues to serve the community, year after year. Awesome organization and now I'm a mentor and it is rewarding.

This place is truly amazing. Saving so many dogs from Mexico and giving them a new life full love…read moreand compassion. They make sure each dog goes to best best family possible. The staff is amazing as well. They offer clinics with low prices for vaccines as well as neutering/spaying services. They actually care more about taking care of the dogs than making a buck like the human society. That place used to be affordable but now it's all about making a profit. I hope to volunteer at these place one day and be a part of such a great establishment.

We went to an adoption event with quite a few dogs available. After walking around and talking to the volunteers, who were all fantastic, we were drawn to a small white and beige dog. We wanted an adult dog, and we found out, the young pup was 6 years old. She was initially shy, but could tell she was very sweet. We picked her and she picked us. We adopted her, and Miss Rita is the sweetest dog we have ever had living with us. The entire adoption process and care they give the dogs were fantastic. You can tell they have compassion and love with all the dogs. I would highly recommend you take a look at them for adoption of these wonderful furry friends.

Legal Aid is an incredible organization!…read more I was assisted with a restraining order by Ms. Pedicini. She was professional, competent, knowledgeable, easy to reach, and kind. She knew what she was doing, every step of the way, and explained everything we were doing in a way I could easily understand, including anything I needed to do or bring. And it all paid off, because we won our case! I feel safer now, and I couldn't have won without Ms. Pedicini. Legal Aid has a small but bright and clean waiting room, with a table full of leaflets on any imaginable legal issue and services from other agencies in Sonoma County, as well as a small play area for young children. I spied one client being allowed to charge her phone while she waited. It's typically very busy. But despite being busy, the staff were always kind to me, and helped me with what I needed. At each visit, Ms Pedicini offered me a light snack and a drink (water, coffee), and she was accommodating to food sensitivities. I will ALWAYS recommend Legal Aid to anyone I know that is in need. They're an organization with a heart of gold.

I am a whistle blower, the corporation was trying to silence me. I keep all receipts and videos showing the Corporation violating several tenant rights at a senior complex. The intake attorney at Legal Aid would not listen to me nor look at my documented proof. She was very hostile & nonprofessional. I went to Rural Housing & they took my ironclad case & we won. Now they are worse. If you disagree with Legal aid, they become angry and are not helpful at all. Very unfortunate for low income seniors who do not know their rights (as I do). They are not the "charitable, helpful" people that their website displays.
