We've been back to Lemon Bar many many times since they opened in December and I have never been disappointed. I LOVE their chocolate chip cookies and their focaccia bread is unmatched. Adorable place. The desserts are excellent! I decided to try something savory and was quite surprised at what I received. Generally, most of the items are generous portions. This however, was the smallest piece of quiche I have ever received in any food establishment. It arrived in a huge container that made it look even smaller. It was literally three bites. We've been coming here since their soft opening and it's honestly the best. It's nice to finally have an amazing bakery in the area. Nowhere else comes close to here. Everything is done so well and you can't go wrong with anything. You can just tell that a lot of time and thought went into the recipes. Staff are super nice and great to converse with. We also started getting our coffee beans here because they carry great options. Every Friday we've been getting the Texas biscuits to make breakfast sandwiches during the weekend. My partners favorite pastries are the scones, lemon bare, and cupcakes. I personally love the chocolate chip cookie and coffee cake. For Christmas we stopped by to pick up a carrot cake, tart, and cinnamon rolls. Our guests were fighting over who gets to take more leftovers. Well ..we finally had our curiosity satisfied after three attempts to try their perpetually sold out lemon bars. We paid about $30 for a cinnamon roll, one hot chocolate, and two lemon bars. The bars are cut into 3 small pieces (maybe 2 bites each) and are VERY thin. I envisioned a thick, decadent lemon bar for what amounts to about a dollar a bite, haha.. but felt baffled by the hoopla over .. this?! It reminded me of the treats I made in the Easy Bake Oven I had as a child..although these did have a nice lemony flavor. The saving grace was the cinnamon roll. It was expensive too .. but at least it was normal sized and quite delicious! read more
