On 5.22.2026 I brought my vehicle to Lemon Grove Car Wash, in Lemon Growv. Upon arrival, I handed the vacuum attendant my main key -- which included my key fob and my house key. My backpack remained in my trunk and was never offered or made available to any employee. I noticed my car was taking longer than usual to come through which was unusual. When I finally received my car back, I was handed my SPARE key -- a key stored deep inside my backpack. I did not give this key to anyone. There is no way an employee could have accessed this key without going through my personal belongings without my knowledge or consent. When my husband brought this to the manager's attention, the manager located my original key sitting on the driver tire -- confirming the attendant had it the whole time. When the manager asked his employee directly whether he went into my backpack, the employee denied it. That denial is not credible. The spare key did not remove itself from deep inside my bag. This was a clear violation of my privacy and personal property. I was lied to by staff and the situation was not properly addressed by management. read more

Damaged my car. Go elsewhere! I called ahead for pricing and provided the make and model- we discussed pricing over phone and in person I was told whoever I spoke with didn't give me correct info for my car so it was going to be $20 more. I was already there so moved forward with getting it done anyways. Took a VERY long time. I finally got called that my car was done and as soon as I walked up to my car, I immediately noticed it looked like they hit something because right along the back of my car the paint was now chipped and it was NOT like that before. It's a new car. Definitely looked like they bumped it on another car or on something. I asked if they could replay the cameras and conveniently the "manager" on duty (Danny) did not have access and immediately snapped on me and told me to call the police and refused to give me contact details to the actual manager that does have access. Been coming here for years and will not be returning. Have a damaged headlight due to the brushes from their automatic wash which I got because it's free when you get an oil change. It's an automatic wash which they don't tell because they have "signs" only in the back that it's automatic with non retractable brushes and they don't take any responsibility. And they say if you want it touchless you have to pay them to hand wash your car which is $60. Just scamming people for more money and not being upfront first when you come in so they can get a quick buck. read more

I've been coming to this carwash place this past year for convenience. However, one day I took my car, a new staff made a mistake of driving the car into the car wash at a wrong angle which damage my rear driver side rims and the side body of my car. I spoke to the manager/owner, not sure but he lied to me at first that he was not the owner until I continue to insist in speaking to the owner because he was very rude and began raising his voice telling me that they are not responsible because he said that he made sure everyone is made aware that there is a chance of car damage when entering the carwash, and I was aware of the risk. I argued that I was aware and emphasize that the damage was not caused by the machine though, but a staff who was driving it in. Also mentioned that I took my car there many times without any issues. He continued to say that I can take my car there as many times as I want and there will always be that risk, again with an angry tone. I have 4 cars that I've been taking to this place for more than a year and some of the staff there already recognize and knows me. Actually one of the staff was the one who said that the guy who drove it in was new and asked me to speak to the owner. Unfortunately, the owner was very unreasonable, rude, and has no sympathy. He kept reiterating that it is there policy that they are not responsible for any damages. I think their policy should be re-evaluated since that offer no protection to customers from carelessness or negligence from any of them. I been coming here for years now. Last few times I been disappointed by the service from the cashier. She doesn't greet you at all, because she's always busy talking on her cell phone, she doesn't even say " Thank you and have a nice day" she doesn't ask you what kind of air freshener you are going to want for your car. Yesterday when we went, all that happened and since she didn't ask me inside for the air freshener, I asked one of the guys that were drying my car, he got irritated and said, I was supposed to tell the lady inside what kind I wanted. I've been here 3 separate times. The first time they left a bag of trash in my car which I thought was an accident. They then did it again the second time along with cups that were clearly trash. The third time I came here because I was in the area and desperately needed my car cleaned before an appointment. I removed my own trash because I knew they wouldn't. This time they didn't wipe down my cup holders at all. The first picture is how they gave my car to me..I asked if they could wipe them down and the 2nd picture is after they wiped them down. The 3rd picture is after I went in myself with a baby wipe. I wonder how effective their cleaning solution is if they couldn't clean it but I could with just a baby wipe. This place is good if you keep your car relatively clean and just want it refreshed but if you actually need your car cleaned I wouldn't come here. Especially not for $50. So my husband has a job that's a little Dusty and he decided to spend over $300 to clean our car and have it specifically detailed to brand new. Supposedly, they dusted everything armored every crevice, surface, shampooed / vacuumed all the seats and carpets. There is dog hair everywhere and it wasn't even that much of a problem. They didn't go in between the linings. There were spots that weren't even touched by any sort of dressing at all or even vacuumed. Boy they better be glad that wasn't my $300. The prices are higher than most with a quality that is lower than most. My boyfriend and I brought both of our vehicles in and got the super (one above the basic wash). Both vehicles were still dirty, and looked like they hadn't even been cleaned. My boyfriend's truck's rims still had break-dust on them and my entire back end of the car had dust/dirt that I was able to wipe off with one finger. Spent $100 on what was supposed to be a deep interior cleaning. Boss told me I was getting a deal. Seats were filthy when they were done. Milk drops, sunscreen, crumbs. I was literally the first car in the Car wash this morning. I was already up sold with the first words out of the man's mouth, which is fine because honestly my car probably needed it. But don't up sell me and then not give me what I paid for. My wife was here just Sunday and raved about the service. My experience was far from stellar. I purchased the $40 VIP wash. My front passenger seat wasn't even vacuumed, dog hair still stuck all over it. There were water spots all over. Who ever worked Sunday used an air hose to blow out excess water in the cracks on my wife's truck...not on my vehicle today. Part of the package is Air Freshener, not even offered to me.
