this is sad! I have been coming to this Car Wash for over 20 years and about four months ago. I had the worst service and the most horrible car wash and so I wouldn't go back. Today I decided to try it one more time and not only did they not vacuum better than any five-year-old, but I was standing watching and I had money in the door for tolls and it fell out on the ground and a guy picked it up and when I got in my car, the cash was gone. Now I have to take the time and vacuum my own car check to see what else was stolen, and wipe down the rest of the inside that they didn't do. I wouldn't recommend this Car Wash to a single person, and if I had the time I would stand with a big sign to warn people. If I could do less than one star I would do that and put negative stars as their review. read more

I thought the guys did a good job for the wash I paid for. They performed what I had requested and I admit the inside of my car was a bit messy and they vacuumed it very well and cleaned the interior. Why is it so hard to find a decent cat wash these days? I got the deluxe car wash for $23.99, the next level up is $46 - they wiped half my dash, barely wiped the interiors and did a half ass job on my windows. Brought in my Jeep which wasn't really dirty but it had a lot of faded trim on it and these guys did a fabulous job made my Jeep look like it was brand new again. Yeah, its a bit of a drive for me from mission valley, but they're so friendly so whenever I'm in the neighborhood I stop by for a wash. I always just get the basic vacuum and wash which is 11.99$. They're very popular so its a little bit of a wait but the great job is worth the wait. They have shaded seating and are good at maximizing their space to get people in and out. I use to bring my vehicles here all the time cause it was affordable and my vehicles came out clean. I took my vehicle there yesterday and I was disappointed. The price is reasonable if the job is done otherwise it's overpriced. I shouldn't have to clean, wipe, or vacuum my car after taking it to a car wash that includes windows, trim, and seats. I'm new in the area and its hard to find hand car wash services anymore; its all self-service. I was happy to see something fairly close by. I never "watched" my car go through the machine before but a woman told me to keep an eye that the polish and/ir sealer light up to ensure you are getting de what you paid for. I took her advice and was shocked to see she was right. Now, every time I come, I keep a eye and it continues to happen. The worst is they have to send it back and I have to wait longer. Not worth what I paid for. Never go 30 min before they close, they rush everything and miss a lot of places to vacuum. I have to appreciate a good business that makes a big effort to keep their customers happy and keep coming back. Thank you for reaching out and addressing my experience. This business is going places with keeping up with something most companies won't even bother to do. I drive by this place often and came here to get my seats washed. Unfortunately my kid puked and even after i washed it off the smell was still lingering. The wait time is good the prices are good. The work good. Detailed good. The nice lady at the register informed me the wait would be 45 minutes and offered to call when its ready. The time flew by and i am very pleased with the results. Never in my life would I bring any of my cars here ever again, we paid for an interior detail and wash , we drop off the car at 10 am and they said 1-2 hours it would be done. We left and came back nearly 2 hours later and the car had not been started on. I asked them about it and I tried to get a refund and leave because we had a funeral to go to but they said no refunds allowed. So we had to wait for the car another 2 hours. It took them nearly 4 hours in total to complete the car. When we got back and it hadn't been started and I had complained, they then rushed the car through to be completed and it just didn't get done right. There's a film of dirt on the outside of the car still I don't think it got washed. There's a film of dust coating the radio dash and inside of car. The shampoo was done well but everything else seems like they just wiped down with a dirty rag. The windows have dirty streaks and there's dirt dripping down the side of the car and bumper. The owners contacted my wife attempting to make it right and have the review removed . When we sent pictures and started agreeing to return and have it be fixed, we were then given defense of "they are saying they told you 3-4 hours" and "we will get to the bottom of this". Making it seem as if now we had to build a case for ourselves. I think they may mean well, but it is not worth the energy to defend why this is a bad job. If you want to fix it just fix it, but at this point it is not worth the energy to us. We are leaving up the review and calling it a loss. Best of luck to the next clients. read more

After describing my previous (awful) experience in my last review, I was contacted by the owner of the business. She asked for a chance to make it right and offered me another car wash. I went down and the manager took extra time with his team to ensure that my vehicle was clean this time. I mean, that's awesome- but it should have been done right the first time. As customers, we shouldn't have to inspect the work of a business to make sure that they are doing what we pay them to do. We should be able to trust that they are providing the services as expected, right? I don't know if I'll be a frequent customer again. We'll see. Overall pretty good car wash. They are reasonably priced. Quick. A lot of people working on one vehicle at a time. Can be a hot and miss with regards to consistency with the washes. Main complain is my passenger her stopped unlocking after a wash and still jammed. Not too sure what happened but I was able to hit the lock to let the gentleman in when he did the vacuuming and when I got in after it was cleaned, drove away, noticed the lock was jammed oh well right, it's a risk we take at any Car Wash and they will say they ain't responsible for any damage. read more

Very disappointed in the service I received today....My car looks great but whoever vacuumed the backseats unbuckled my toddlers car seat. Even if accidental I'd expect to be notified so I could fix it. As I came to a stop with her in her seat the base flew forward. Lucky for us it was just a stop and not an accident! I have been coming to Crystal Clean Car Wash for a year now and gradually noticed the quality of the car washes have gone down the passed few months. I came in today when they opened and the exterior looked fine after the wash but my interior had not been wiped clean or the back seat. This is the third time this has happened. I asked to use a cleaning towel and spray myself to clean my interior before heading out. I'm pretty bummed about this third experience and will not be coming back. read more
