Listen so this place has good drinks good pastries which is why I wanted to really love this place, I came twice because I thought maybe the first time they were just having a bad day but no I was wrong, the workers attitude and lack of customer service is so disappointing I get it we don't wanna work anymore I understand but your still able to be respectful and professional while keeping your own personal issues at home , the first time I got such bad attitude from the cashier no one greeted me which is fine but the second time I had to wait 5 almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged and when I was finally noticed the girl didn't even apologize or say "hey sorry for the wait " just straight bluntness and rudeness just a horrible mean girl vibe also the party behind me ended up leaving because of this experience you guys have so much potential to be so great maybe talking to your workers and telling them how to be kind instead of talking amongst themselves and ignoring costumers would help this place flourish even more so I will never be back not that it matters but what makes a person keep coming back or recommending places is being comfortable or respected or at least greeted somewhere but amazing drinks and pastries read more

My new favorite coffee shop!! The staff is so friendly, the drinks are delicious! The açaí bowls are a perfect size especially for the price you pay. Speaking about prices... they aren't crazy. Most coffee shops charge you an arm and a leg for a white mocha... not Lemon Grove Coffee. They are genuine. The drinks are great! The store itself is easy to find, and beautiful inside! This coffee shop is so awesome! We've tried the sugar & spice, Hawaiian creme brûlée & tropical Irishman and they're all soooooo good!!! The croissants are so flaky and delicious. They are kid friendly as well. They have two toddler tables with coloring pages & activities! The ladies at the front have all been wonderful. Don't wait around there for your car to get finished - GO GET COFFEE HERE!!! It's a 5 minute walk. My wife and I went this morning (4/12/24) to Lemon Grove Coffee and were very happy with out coffees! I'm not sure how long they have been open since The Hamlett moved on, but were very impressed and will be back!! We ordered the Hawaiian Creme Brulee and the Loco Coco latte....they were both very, very good! The HCB had a nominal sweetness and the LC was a bit sweeter (just right for me), but both were great and not too sweet! The two working this morning were very friendly and welcoming and I put this coffee shop on the top of our list! If anything changes, I'll be sure to give further reviews. It might just be me, but the only issue I had was the Hawaiian Creme Brulee was not hot enough and I'm one that likes hot beverages, food and soups "hot". I'm older and maybe there are those that like their drinks immediately drinkable, but I'm not like that. I was asked how we liked our drinks and I mentioned the temperature and was offered many options to remedy my minor issue and they were very willing to do so! In the future and it happens again, by their responsiveness to my comment, I'm confident they will do whatever is necessary to make it right! read more
