I contacted Knight Law Group regarding a lemon law case involving Kia America. Their intake analyst reviewed all of my documentation -- repair records, dealer communications, and correspondence with Kia -- and enthusiastically confirmed they would take my case. I was told that given the existing offer letter and Kia's default on the buyback agreement, they were confident they could recover two to three times the purchase price. I signed a representation agreement. What followed was nearly a month of silence. No one at the firm has a last name, calls go unanswered, and most emails receive automated replies. After three weeks of failed attempts to reach anyone, I contacted a partner directly via LinkedIn. Shortly after I was contacted by Carlos. He reviewed everything again, and said he would consult with the attorneys. Three days later he called back to say the firm could not do better than Kia's offer and would not pursue the case. Knight Law Group made representations they could not support, had me sign an exclusive agreement, and then went silent for a month before reversing course -- leaving me with lost time and an approaching legal deadline. I had one of the most difficult experiences with my vehicle which was needed every day; and once I went through too many visits to the car dealership for repairs, I contacted Knight Law Group for all the time and monies lost dealing with my vehicle. Over 21 visits, as somehow the vehicle's thermal and electric systems could not be fully repaired. I honestly don't know if all lawyers work like this or what's going on. Because Knight Law Group with me nothing of this reviews with 5 stars is happened with me , which is supposedly the best at fighting for people's rights till the end ?? Well with me they don't Even on their social media Instagram principal of those and videos , they say they don't settle for crumbs and that they'll get you three times the value of your vehicle, but none of that is true. I don't know if they have client preferences or how it works, or why things don't go their way. They're always favoring and looking out for their own interests so did take the assigned by tehy own Firts Attorney , Second The Other Party's and last The Painfully Client . i can't say they are doing for all . But in my case yep this is how it looks to me trye to feel fear for me . you think this is right for me oh trying to scare me , that doesn't matter at all. Because that's how they're treating me. thats professional ethics how in Lawyer or how they resolve the cases and the the problems with you're own client's. you should be like that with the other's party's but with your onw clients , shame of you Am not claiming for millions of dollars or trying to make a lot of money; the money comes and goes. i just a cliam that can respect my interests and be compensated for all damages all profits that i loss and and savings they take my vehicle and your firm's not doing enough for me .Thats what really bothers me an how they try to pressure me be into an agreement i don't agree with when they're not actually doing what they should be doing: negotiating, exploring alternatives, investigating, doing their job. They want someone else to do their job, please, and get paid. Good job on for all your work, and yet you still want to withhold 50% of the agreement, leaving me without a vehicle. And then you tell me, "If you don't sign, we're going to withdraw and leave you without representation, and you're on your own." Or even as a warning, you tell me, "You'll have to pay for our services, and we're only going to pay you what we believe is the value of your vehicle." Don't let them keep me in debt, making me keep paying for a vehicle really is the how Lemon Law really works ,, they didn't act quickly, they allowed me to lose my vehicle, and they have the audacity to tell me that the problem with the finance company is separate and they're not getting involved. Please! And to top it all off, they want to blame me, saying the case has been too difficult for them, since the more difficult the situation, the more they put me in a position where they want me to lose my rights and be relieved of all responsibility, and that I should agree, and then they want to withdraw just like that, sending a Email doesn't have the courage to speak the truth and really explain things to me properly. Have they even taken the time to meet me in person and explain how my case is progressing? They tell you say first yes and sign everything and later you get paid and papers we giving you your copys and then after we reimbursement we need to take some money from you ok That's what an honest law firm should be. Now I understand why they're facing a big problem, but oh well, now it's my fault. Good for you, I know, but that's not how things are done. And I just want to make it very clear to everyone in general: YOU, AS CLIENTS, HAVE THE CONTROL TO DECIDE WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU, NOT WHAT THEY PRESENT WITH THE FIRST OFFER, ESPECIALLY IF THEY TRY TO CHANGE IT, TRYING TO WITHHOLD YOUR PAYMENT, WHICH BELONGS TO YOU EACH ONE. WE SEND YOU YOUR PAYMENT. THE PAYMENT IS MADE DIRECTLY TO YOU, AND THAT'S IT. Besides, they can't force you either, and don't let them intimidate you because there are other options. What happens is that they look for the fastest way out, and what is that? A quick agreement where they take their part, you take yours, And half of of your payment claim 50% they want to withdraw from your compensation and those responsible are released from all responsibility and blame. You stay in the same hole you're in, or even worse, with no way out and many more problems. Ask for your documents before signing review all your documents and don't let them to pressure you . Do not to sign anything. Till make sure you understand everything This is advice I give you from the heart. I don't do it to earn millions of dollars or to become famous and attract attention. They simply push you to your limit, and what they want isn't fair. Do this with me... I reached out to Knight Law Group to help me with the lease on my 2024 Prologue as I was having recurring intermittent electrical issues. I signed the retainer agreement and submitted all the requested paperwork. I received a response that they had received my documentation and would file my suit within 45 days. After nearly a month I reached out for an update and received no response from the attorney, Andres. Several days later, I received a voice mail from him asking me to call back. I called back twice with no response. Finally, the person who answered on the third call told me that they could not take my case because it was a lease with Honda (which I had stated at the outset) due to an arbitration clause. I asked to speak with a senior partner and was connected to one. In that conversation he admitted a mistake was made and apologized but there was nothing they could to. I asked him if they could at least refer me to an attorney who COULD handle arbitrations. I was told I would receive an email by the end of the day. Three days later, I've received nothing.
