I forgot to ask for her name, but her customer service was top notch from the moment my daughter and I walked in. I asked if she could make a banana matcha with cold foam, and she made it so delicious that I came back later to order a larger one because my daughter loved it too. After finishing our drink, she noticed she had a little extra and instead of wasting it, she kindly gave my daughter a small cup of her own. That completely made my daughter's night and made her so happy. We thanked her and told her how sweet that was. She was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely went above and beyond. Service like that is exactly what keeps customers coming back, and I truly hope we get to see her again. And if you happen to read this review, I just want you to know my daughter was so thankful for the drink you gave her. Your kindness truly meant a lot to her.

SO EMBARRASSED BY LEMON LEAF TODAY. i sent my sister to pick up some food, since shes from out of town and i wanted to treat her to lunch i decided we should spend too much money on lemon leaf... my pregnant sister went to pick up the food, there was a line of about 15 fire fighters in front of her ordering, they urged her to go before them, she steps up to the second register where an employee is standing, the employee at the other register berated my poor sister for "cutting" the fireman who had just told her to go ahead, she turns her attention to the first girl at the first register, and the girl at that register told her " im not ready to take your order, i just looked at you to be polite" so my sister said "oh, sorry you looked at me like you were ready, but i called in my order." the poor fireman feel so bad for my sister THEY APOLOGIZED to my sister for the way LEMON LEAFS STAFF was treating her. as my sister was paying, the manager, or owner, in a black shirt came out of the kitchen and her staff was nothing but smiles in front of her. i hope the owner sees this. it happened today 4/2 at around 1:15 pm.. i cant even believe someone would be SO RUDE to paying customers when another person is paying them, to be the face of their business. I personally would not stand for my employees being so rude to my customers behind my back. disappointed to say the least. if im spending 14$ on a Cesar salad in a tortilla im at the very least expecting to come into contact with someone who is happy im choosing to go there instead of Juice box down the street where i could get the same thing for under 10$ with a smile. read more

I met a friend here for lunch and upon entering I liked the bright and open dining area and the murals painted on both walls. You have to walk through the dining area to the counter located at the other end of the restaurant, pick up a menu, decide what you want, order and pay for your food all before you sit down! I found this setup a bit odd. After you sit a server comes buy and brings the drinks and bread. I found both the order taker and server to be pleasant and helpful. I ordered the Italian Sausage Peperonata which consists of Spicy Italian sausage, tri-colored bell-peppers, onion, basil, and garlic. I also ordered dessert (Decadent Brownie Sundae) when I ordered my meal because of their setup, if you decide you want dessert later that means another trip to the back counter and paying again. I enjoyed both my main meal and the dessert. The food was nicely presented on the plate which I always appreciate because it makes for a nice photo. The Italian Sausage Peperonata was very tasty but overpriced for the portion you receive. The Decadent Brownie Sundae was also good and I thought this item was fairly priced. read more

We were looking for a place to eat a late lunch after running an errand over in the AV. Wife wanted a nice salad and I wanted to have a sandwich or something of the sort. I wasn't able to get a either as we came in too late in the day and settled for a ceasar salad and tomato basil soup. Wife had a cranberry turkey cobb salad. Our meals were very fresh tasting and with a lot of flavor too. We also got a bruschetta appetizer with gorgonzola cheese. The bruschetta was very tasty as well and one of the better bruschettas I've tasted. I enjoyed my soup and salad very much. Ingredients are fresh and bursting out with flavor! We didn't plan to have dessert but did indulge in a orange coffeecake. From the first bite, it was foodgasmic and we both ate it all! Prices may be a bit high yet I'd rather pay more for GOOD tasty fresh food. I don't mind placing the order at the counter. It reminds me of Sweet Butter Kitchen in Sherman Oaks (except I think Lemon Leaf is better). This is one of the best restaurants of the AV if not one of my personal favorites as well. read more

Rather interesting way to order, get a table and menus and once you decide what you want you go up to the counter to order. Nothing bad about that just a bit differenr. Food was outstanding. We had the MEDITERRANEAN PLATTER (Includes hummus, tzatziki, olives, feta, dolmas, and roasted red peppers, served with grilled pita bread), I had the THE RARE ROAST BEEF baguette press (Rare roast beef, spinach, caramelized onions, provolone cheese with a horseradish-gorgonzola cheese spread) and my wife had the CHICKEN MUSHROOM FETTUCCINE (Grilled chicken and mushrooms in a creamy Alfredo sauce served with fettuccine pasta). All was very good and the servers came around several times making sure our drinks were allways filled. A very nice experience. One thing to though is that it's a bit pricy for the portion size but if you can get past that you'll enjoy yourself. read more

I have been to this Cafe just once and i liked it. One of my friend got engaged for which called me for tea in the evening. She is a frequent customer of this cafe and asked me to reach here. The place looks average with normal level of noise. We ordered Sandwich, Salad & Cold Coffee. I was speechless after first bite of the sandwich. I ate the sandwich silently and asked my friend to order another one. We both decided to catch up at least once in a quarter and the rendezvous would remain Lemon Leaf Cafe. They have reasonable prices for everything they serve. Cafe needs cleanliness and fresh food with good customer service. These guys provide that. read more

Anytime I have friends in from out of town I take them to Lemon Leaf. It is my go to because the food is consistently great. I find this key because often places start off great and quality fades over time but not here. I have certain food quirks and I have never had a problem having them met at Lemon Leaf. If I had any complaint it would be, sometimes, usually lunchtime is packed and hard to get a table but that is a sign that everyone else knows the same thing you do, It's great! read more

Lemon Leaf Cafe is a lovely, little restaurant in the revived old Downtown Lancaster. It has a beautiful mural of lemon groves, reminiscent of the Santa Paula/Filmore area. The dining room has a nice atmosphere with a mix of regular tables and bar height tables for two. You order at the counter and your meal is brought to you at the table. The Rustica Roma pizza is always very tasty and the Insalata Mista side salad goes wonderfully with it. The staff is friendly and helpful. read more

This is a great spot to head on over for a business lunch or for a date. Small cafe with some nice decor. Food is good. I've only been there a handful of times, but so far I haven't been disappointed. Love their Pesto pasta and their pizzas. Haven't had a salad yet, but they look real fresh and good. You pay first and get served at your table (seems like a lot of restaurants do that now days). Friendly staff. I give it a thumbs up and recommend it. read more

As you walk in you are greeted by a very friendly staff, the entry way also leads you to the bar top seating area facing the kitchen. Within the main building you will find many booths and table options, they have many interesting art pieces and decor. It's a classic diner atmosphere with friendly staff. The food options are many, from Mexican classics, Burgers, Sandwiches and many other options. The meals are all made to your liking without any pushback around extra costs. The food quality was very high, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, they were very authentic with a tomato sauce and sauteed onions and peppers, not spicy but I did ask for their home salsa and it brought up the spice level, the dish is served with homemade rice and beans, all well cooked. I also ordered a side of pancakes and bacon for my dad and they were perfectly cooked. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and worth the visit. I have shared my experience with my friends and family in Lancaster.
