There are not enough stars for this deli. It's everything a deli should be. I hate that it's hours away from my house. The Cuban sandwich was so delicious and big enough to share. The homemade chips were fantastic! I dream about these chips. The sides were also great, especially the cucumber salad. I had the hibiscus drink and you can add champagne to it. For a deli in the Antelope Valley, it wasn't so bad. The sandwiches were pretty good in terms of flavor, but there was not enough meat! I want slices! Big, thick freshly cut slices! You need at least 6 ounces- 12 ounces of meat to make it a "deli sandwich," especially for the price they're asking for. I've worked in a Jewish deli before, but I think they need a few lessons with the delivery of a quality deli product. At least the rye bread was fresh. I visited this place for the first time recently. The building is clean and modern. Employees are courteous and pleasant. This is not a real deli. There was no display of meats and cheeses, and only one very clean slicer on the back counter. I asked for sliced meat and cheese, by the pound. I was told that neither of the two people working out front knew how to use the slicer and/or scale. Leads me to believe that meats and cheeses are delivered pre-cut or cut a day (or days) in advance--like at Subway. Owner/Manager either needs to show employees how to use equipment or change the name to Brooklyn Sandwich Shop or maybe Brooklyn Subway. Brooklyn Deli is not a real deli. Paul read more

NEW OWNERS!!!!!! (It's not the older couple anymore) Came here with my Husband today. They are open for Breakfast and are open 7 days a week now. The new owner is very sweet and friendly. It's a totally different place! My husband got the Corned Beef Reuben, and I got the Pastrami Reuben. He ate his really fast so I couldn't get too many pictures of it lol.
