Since I moved up here, this has been my go to spot! They make great breakfast burritos and the chilaquiles are spot on. Ask for them Mexican style! They will give you half green and half red salsa. I have only gone during off hours so I don't know how busy they get on the weekends, but anytime I go it's always pretty quick. I usually order ahead and take it to go. They also have real cafe de olla which is a plus since a lot of places give you coffee with cinnamon and call it cafe de olla haha. They are operated by a small local family, which is another plus! So they had a sign saying home-made tortillas and when I got in she said only with menudo and weekends only, then I ordered albóndigas, hard, no tortillas with the soup and 2veggies carrots and zucchini, the cafe de olla didn't have the genuine to taste you desire, cinnamon,pure cane sugar,it was watered down , this was a disappointment , I will not recommend this place and will never be back. read more

It reflects behavior that feels discriminatory and deeply concerning, especially in the times we are living in. My mother recently dined there with a friend who suffered a stroke and has difficulty speaking. Instead of patience or basic compassion, they were met with sarcasm, visible irritation, and dishes being set down harshly. No one recovering from a medical event should be made to feel like a burden for communicating differently. The situation escalated when the waitress began questioning them about whether they had gone to church because they had crosses on their foreheads. It was Ash Wednesday. My mother shared that the tone noticeably shifted after they confirmed they had gone to church. In today's climate, where division and judgment are already heightened, no customer should feel scrutinized or treated differently because of their faith. My mom left feeling embarrassed after having spoken highly of this cafe and bringing her friend there expecting a positive experience. My sister called the restaurant afterward to address what happened. Instead of accountability or concern, the waitress immediately blamed my mother's friend. There was no professionalism, no empathy, and no effort to make things right. It's also important to say that my sister and her girlfriend have experienced noticeably different treatment when dining here compared to when I have gone with my boyfriend. The contrast in service is hard to ignore. Whether intentional or not, when patterns like this emerge, regarding disability, faith, or sexual orientation, it raises serious concerns about discrimination. This review is not written out of anger. It is written because this is not okay. In a time when respect and inclusivity matter more than ever, businesses have a responsibility to treat every guest with dignity regardless of medical condition, religion, or who they walk in with. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This was my first time visiting this restaurant for Mother's Day, and the experience was absolutely terrible. The owner was unbelievably rude from the moment we started ordering. She kept rushing us while we were trying to decide, and the food took forever to come out. On top of that, she tried forcing us to pay a tip for a party of 5 even though the service was awful. I refused because the experience did not deserve it. She became angry, started yelling at me, and claimed I was "legally required" to pay the fee. I would have understood an automatic gratuity if the service had actually been good, but it was not. The entire experience was disrespectful and uncomfortable. I will NEVER be coming back. Terrible service, terrible attitude, and a terrible owner. read more

Never going back to this restaurant. At first I was excited to try their food, however service was bad- the lady which I believe is the owner or manager rushed us to order and was really rude, they brought in our food and while the food was pretty decent, they forgot to bring in one of the meals for our party- so we had to remind them that we were missing a plate. We didn't have one server we had multiple people- which became disorganized. Once we checked the bill they automatically charged a 18% tip to the bill that we couldn't take off, which is not worth it as the service was bad!! read more

For the prices food is very minimal and service was not good. Business was not busy we had a party of 12 , not once did they come ask if we needed refills or anything unless they were asked after several times to bring us drinks because everyone had an empty cup, and they didn't even bother to pick up the stacked dirty plates to allow us to have more room ... but they were quick to add a gratuity tip even though service was not given. Had late brunch/ birthday party for friend, The venue looks newly renovated. The owner and servers were really nice. No waiting ,or , not making you feel at home. The coffee mug was always filled.
