    French dip

Driving through and stopped in this cute little town called Mossy Rock! We wanted lunch and we saw Lemon Tree Cafe. Cute little cafe, right on the main strip. This is just wholesome good food. I ordered a French dip - which was really yummy. My son loved his burger. Overall- hot, fresh food, great service. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area to stop by and give them a try!

I liked the salt and pepper shakers.

Stopped on our way home from Mt Rainier. We needed a place with outside seating since we had our dog with us. They have picnic tables out front, so that worked out great (dog friendly). Service was quick and courteous. Food was delicious. The raspberry jam was very delicious.

Great serving sizes for the prices. Tons of options for breakfast and lunch. Multiple coffee choices. Cute seating area inside and out. Staff was kind and attentive.

Unfortunately, they have succumbed to shrinkflation like everywhere else, but a little more pronounced than other places. I got three meals and two sides(potatoes and 4 sausage links that were also $4). The potatoes were no more than 3 ounces for $4(insane, didn't even look like a full potato) and this meal(pictured) was $13 as were the other two meals, this 100% is not worth that price, maybe half the price for quantity. Disappointed and won't be going back. This is the first time we've experienced this here too

    Highly recommend taco salad

I enjoyed the taco salad - it was probably the best taco salad I've ever had! A full plate of great quality lettuce topped with thick shredded cheddar cheese, lean ground beef , black beans, olives, green onions and on the side- sour cream, salsa and real guacamole. On top, a sprinkle of thin tortilla chips- yum! I definitely recommend it. The place was clean and the service friendly too.

I just paid seven dollars for a watery Frappuccino probably the most liquid, more like a glass of milk

The food is very good, the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Their Friday clam chowder is the best; lots of clams!

Food was great! Coffee was very weak and watery, I would probably get an espresso drink next time. We would go back!

My boyfriend told me that anytime he passes by that the parking lot is always filled, and even when we were coming in, the parking lot was full and there were definitely some interesting parking choices made by others. We were able to get parking and as we entered we were greeted warmly by staff. Luckily, there was a small table for us so we were seated right away with menus. The staff here are on point with checking in at the perfect times and they always do a sweep for coffee and water refills, to see if anyone needs anything or anything else. They are also so friendly and seem to know their regulars well too. The bathroom is well-maintained and even has a changing station. I got the strawberry lemonade and the biscuits and gravy combo that comes with eggs, hash browns, and ham while my boyfriend got the chicken club sandwich. The drink arrived immediately and not even after a few minutes did our food arrive. The pictures and reviews did not lie, the portions were huge and the food tasted great especially for the price. You do pay at the front once they drop off the tab. I do also appreciate that they sell some local goods from honey, sauces, jewelry and other neat things. This place deserves the glowing reviews and more.

I had the Pesto Caprese pizza and it was amazing! The balsamic glaze added just the right amount of sweetness to bring together the different flavors. My husband had the NY steak and said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and told us how all the ingredients were locally sourced, which is very good to hear because we like to support local businesses. Lastly, the building is quite beautiful with the exposed brick interior walls. I'm not familiar with the local history so I'm curious as to what this building was originally? We will definitely come back and also check out the market next time.

So Bad It Was Almost Comical…read more My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our drive from Oregon to Seattle. The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.
