There isn't a question they have the best wax, the best tools and the most knowledgable staff. I agree packages are overwhelming and Ive never gotten one. I moved to Florida in October; while there have the most locations in FL, none in my area. I'm in NJ for most of the summer & have been getting all of my favorite stylists to do everything I need. I went to get my hair done with my stylist of 8 years, she is the best. In hopes of killing 2 birds with 1 stone last Thursday, I asked her to do my eyebrows, which she has touched up a few times. Well I want them re shaped and she told me "you have to go to European Wax!" I said I have been and love them but thought she could do it also. She said "honestly salon equipment is not made to redesign or get detailed with waxing. Only EUROPEAN wax has the tools and talent." So she passed up doing a service on me, directed me to take my large tips to someone else, who she believes is the best. When someone who stands to make money on you and easily can, but is honest enough to tell you where to get the best service, how can you not believe it to be true? If the front desk staff isn't professional, address it there or later, otherwise write a bad review, go back to a salon (or worse a nail salon) and get chopped up work, just to spite the staff!? Like I said I've been here SEVERAL TIMES with just about every employee. I get full bikini and eyebrows, my 15 year old gets underarms and eyebrows. I've taken her to the BEST salon in the area and not only is the wax bad, creates patches of red skin that turn into ugly scabs before healing and always ingrown hair. I'd never take her anywhere else. If I want quality, id never go anywhere else. Whatever your excuse, find the right technician for you, if you want something special done the front desk will tell who does what best. This place HAS NOT sprouted into a huge conglomerate in a blink of an eye, for just waxing because of poor service. I think everyone has been in the SERVICE INDUSTRY. Be an adult and ask for what you want. There is no other place that comes close! While I've had Denville front desk be a little snippy (but honestly who cares) my techs have always been wonderful. I have never had a bad experience in Succasunna, and their success speaks volumes. If you care about not getting a hack job, you'll go to EW. I'm just amazed at some of the whinny reviews. Apparently you don't have a good idea of quality waxing and/or you have your eyebrows or whatever waxed the exact same way since the 80's! These people are the best, most professional and trained by the best to get their licenses unlike salons!!! They follow every cleanliness and health precaution; which is another thing ppl should care about! No brainier. Unless you want to pick up the clap getting waxed because the fiercely pretty girls upfront, give you the feeling they have a "tude." I think some women are just intimidated by young pretty girls and maybe they could do better to train them to be more professional, however, no reason to take the time to rip them up in a review!

As getting nails done with the machine she slightly burned me twice, no apology. No hand lotion or hand massage. Left with dry hands and dry cuticles. But she did do a great job and love my nails! I really want to like them and make this my place so I will give them another try with different person. The place was very busy, so they're doing something right! UPDATE: I returned for a fill-in and as noted before was greeted and sat right away after initial washing of hands. I had a different nail tech this time and had a great experience, did my cuticles and brushed cuticle oil on them. Have not quite decided if this will be my go to place yet. Will have to try their padicures and then I will make a final decision.

The person who did my eyebrow waxing kept arguing with me and having it back-and-forth on how much hair I want to takeoff and how thin I wanted them which really was not her place. I told her if she just was not comfortable with it then I could get someone else but she wanted to do it...she did complete the service. However, she ended up burning my eyelid, even after I told her that the wax was way too hot. I think it was a mix of her rubbing different types of treatments and liquids on my eyebrow and then waxing the same area multiple times with very hot wax. I get my eyebrows waxed every three weeks for the last 10 to 15 years and it's very easy for me to tell when the wax is too warm and obviously when your eyebrows are wax, your skin is red, but I could tell that the skin was just much more red. I did reach out to the Front Desk staff but nothing was done. I then tried calling multiple times, but to this day, I have never gotten a call back. And I honestly don't think I should have to reach out multiple times just for them to call me back. So while it does have very low prices and it's a beautiful salon I just had a negative experience that was not handled correctly so I really cannot recommend it. There are many salons in the area even within a one minute drive so I would recommend going to those locations over this one.

My nails have never looked so good. Not only did my manicure come out beautifully, but the salon is stunning, vibrant and very clean. The owner and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Heather highlighted my hair perfectly after the first visit and I went back to her every 6 weeks for touch ups for 4 years wherein I left satisfied and feeling gorgeous every single time! She creates a beautifully blended, natural looking blonde. I prefer cool tones and loathe brass and she nailed the look I prefer! She has also given me gorgeous cuts over the years- always listening to my preferences and never cutting off more than I was comfortable with. On one occasion when I wanted to try something new, she recommended layers that ended up being the best haircut I've ever had- I cannot recommend her enough!!!
