I am a massage therapist from Pittsburgh and I was on vacation. I called and Ashley was sooo helpful as far as finding an appointment I was able to get in immediately. Probably cause it was a tuesday (so im not guaranteeing same day appt) but i was glad. i got one. They have parking and are close to the beach. I got there a little early and did my quick paperwork. the place is very calming and everyone super friendly. I got an aromatherapy body wrap and a facial. Summer is AMAZING. here's why. i gave her an idea of what aroma therapy oils I like and told her to make a concoction. it was a citrus fresh smell she nailed it. secondly she asked about my skin and i was curious about my wrinkles. immediately from jist looking at my skin she said i was dehydrated. here i thought i needed botox. so I told her to pick between a microderm or vitamin c facial. the microderm keep in mind was 50 dollars more. she did the scrub and body wrap. i was super relaxed and she said i needed the vitamin c. That showed me she actually personalized my facial for my skin. WHICH BY THE WAY LOOKS INCREDIBLE. If I lived in st. They were able to accommodate us on a Sunday because we were visiting from California and this was our only free day. The therapists were very professional and very skilled at what they do. I was visiting from out of state, and they were able to fit me and my friend in the same day we called for massage, facial, and scalp treatment (I had the men's package with foot service added on)! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the service providers are knowledgable and reassuring, and the prices are way more reasonable than most other places in the area. Theresa saved me! I was on vacation and between lugging beach stuff, a baby that must be secretly eating lead judging on how heavy he is, and sleeping on a soft bed, I woke one morning feeling a little stiff necked and by the next day I could barely move it. I was in so much pain with any amount of movement. Theresa was amazing and spent an hour working on the area with the perfect amount of pressure to alleviate the issue but still allow me to feel relaxed. She also gave some TLC to my feet which was nice and really appreciated. By the next afternoon I forgot all about my neck and was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation pain free. We visited Lemon Tree Spa for a couples massage, in lieu of having massages at the spa at our resort. First off, Lisa, the owner, is just fabulous. She was accommodating when scheduling our appointments. At the time, they had just had some damage at St. Pete Beach location due to the hurricane and so we were scheduled at the Tierra Verde location, which actually ended up being closer to where we were staying. We realized when scheduling, that we would be getting a 90 minute massage for half of the cost of a 50 minute massage at the resort. That's crazy!? When we arrived, Lisa welcomed us and we felt right at home. She was so warm and inviting. Greeted us with water and had us fill out paperwork, which made us feel like they actually cared about our well-being. The massage itself, was just FABULOUS! Tim had a hot stone massage with Theresa, and said it was just wonderful. He has a lot of tension in is neck and shoulder, and she got right at it without him even mentioning it was there! Lacey was my masseuse and I swear the girl has magic hands. I am dealing with chronic autoimmune disease and had been having a lot of leg cramping... she worked the cramps right out. Their touch was perfect. You know with some massages, they feel good the day of, but then you actually hurt the day after? Not here. We felt so relaxed and comfortable. These folks know what they're doing and make you feel right at home. In fact, I wish I could have Lacey just come to my home once a week. If I lived in St. Pete, I would be a Lemon Tree regular, for certain. And the pricing is SO reasonable. This is now most certainly our spa of choice in the St. Pete area and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for spa services! We look forward to trying more of the services next time we're in town. Oh, and to mix in a little magic and fun, we didn't realize until after we left, but dragonflies have always had special meaning to us. Henya, their esthetician, is a genius. I've gotten many facials in my lifetime at some wonderful places (Bliss, Elizabeth Grady, Elizabeth Arden, etc.), and Henya is by far the best. My parents moved down to the St. Pete area a few years ago. So much to enjoy down there (including my parents), but Henya is at the top of my list. She was trained in Europe and goes back often to upgrade/update her skills and product knowledge and of course stays on top of what the US has to offer. She's a perfectionist and her facial sculpting (using micro-current) and photo rejuvenation facials are extraordinary -- made me look and feel years younger. Highly, highly recommended. read more
