I have visited the spa at least three times and what I enjoy about the spa is the overall serenity. Upon arrival, it feels like you are transported into a calm cocoon. I'm always greeted very warmly and offered their delicious tea while waiting for my service to begin. I have had their pedicure, which is absolutely heavenly, and I also utilize their wax services. These ladies are amazing at their craft and I can't say no kind words to emphasize how much I enjoyed my time. Another perk that I enjoy, is that when you utilize their services, you do have access to the spa for the day, and the amenities are quite enjoyable, they have an outdoor hot tub as well as a lap pool. I am giving this experience a low rating because of the way my girlfriend and I were treated by Claudia at the front desk. When we first arrived, I observed her being welcoming and friendly toward other guests. However, once she realized that we were not purchasing a day pass, her demeanor toward us noticeably changed. Her communication became condescending, and speaking loudly about the situation while other guests were checking in made the experience uncomfortable and embarrassing. To be clear, the massage service itself was amazing, and I have no complaints about the actual treatment. Unfortunately, one person's attitude at the front desk overshadowed what otherwise could have been a great experience. It is not always about what you say, but how you say it. Guests should feel welcomed and respected regardless of what service they are purchasing, what they are wearing, or what they look like. I spend my money with businesses that make me feel valued and respected. I should never have to question whether I am being treated differently because of the color of my skin or what I am wearing. Didn't show us the facilities we were paying real money to use. Fireplaces turned off. Loungers wet and unclean. Zero staff check-ins or communication. Place doesn't feel like a relaxing spa but rather an empty echo chamber. It's 180 off the resort vibe. Resort is very accommodating, friendly, and congenial. Fireplaces turned off, "hot tubs" not heated, mold on loungers, no hooks I. Toilet rooms for clothes/robe, so items go on floor next to toilet. The spa isn't worth the cost nor time, and I left feeling ignored, tense, and unrelaxed. Utterly disappointed. The masseuse staff *almost* make up for the dismissive front end. Communicative, responsive, and remarkably skilled in the mudwrap and massage combination. I have been coming here for a few months now for pedicures. I have an allergy to some of the products nail salons use so I am unable to even go into them anymore. This spa uses Aveda products and none of the harsh chemicals that typical nail salons use, which allows me to still be able to get a pedicure. The grounds are absolutely beautiful here, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. When coming here your spa service includes a day pass for all of the amenities available. This includes a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and beautiful, lounging areas to relax. They also have food and drinks available certain hours of the day. I once tried the Caesar salad and sweet potato fries, and they did not disappoint. I have never gotten any other spa services here but did treat my husband to a gift card for Christmas for a deep tissue massage. We went together this last time, me for my pedicure and him for his massage and had a great day. My only complaint is that some of the areas are separated for a men and women so we were not able to use the hot tub, sauna or steam room together. I tried out 2 stylists with varying degrees of luck before, thankfully I found LeMonds and more specifically Kara! She's been amazing! Not only a great stylist and always giving me the perfect cut (I rarely have those so frustrating "Bad Hair Days") she has great vision to see what my hair needs when I arrive, but also listens when I have a concern (of which there are few since I started having her cut my hair) Kara is a great talent for hair and and cool person to hang out with while she's working on your mane!! After booking my stay at the Wigwam, I excitedly booked a pedicure at the spa which I had been looking forward to for weeks. When I arrived for my appointment I sat in the chair I was asked what kind of polish I had, I said gel and that I wanted gel polish. I was told they didn't have time for that since it wasn't specified. I explained that I booked online and there is no option to indicate anything about gel as an addition or as a type of pedicure. Then I was annoyingly told that I should have called to request that--the online booking system should state to call if that is necessary for this service. Why have online booking if you can't fully book online?!? Or, if your system can't offer those details which you need to properly pace appointments, why not call or text to confirm?!? Disappointing and a waste of time and money. To her credit, Lacy offered to not do parts of the service to squeeze in the gel. She's kind, friendly and does a great job! I would have cancelled and walked out but didn't want to leave her without a client...management, do better for your friendly staff and your customers. When I went to pay, the woman at the checkout--who is lacking in customer service--had the audacity to explain gel was taken off the online booking because in the past people booked "gel" that thinking it was a pedicure. This explanation was pathetic and made it even worse indicating management knows this is a problem and has not addressed it! Why not put "name of pedicure+gel"--or add "for gel services please call spa directly" upon checkout, this isn't rocket science. I was then told customary gratuity was 20% suggesting I could decrease, why would I do that and penalize the staff?!?!--this wasn't Lacey's fault it's management's booking system!!!! Despite this deficiency in your booking system, not receiving all elements of and a rushed pedicure, I was still charged full price. A small discount, an offer to use the spa's steam room or simple genuine un-excuse filled apology would have gone a long way. read more

I first want to say that the woman who did my facial, she personally, was great. She was very thoughtful and nice to chat with. However, I definitely would not come back here just for a facial. I brought my Mom here for Mother's Day weekend. We don't do things like this typically, but I really wanted to treat her and for the price here and the resort, I figured it was a sure fire way to not fail. The amount of money we paid for two facials... was wild. I could understand the price if you could actually use the amenities that I am sure they include to bump up the price. But you can tell that they provide way too many services at a time- which then takes away from the spa experience they present on the website. Yes you have access to a private pool, a relaxing zero gravity chair area, lockers so you don't have to carry your stuff around, all of that. But when you pack that many people in the same time slots.... You dont actually get the sanctuary experience that your branding and advertising boasts about. We couldn't get a locker, most were taken and a few broken. So we would have had to lug our stuff around. Then every single chair at the pool was taken... literally not one place to relax or chill. Every zero gravity chair was being used. We literally looked at eachother and just decided to leave. Women complaining the entire time about the same thing while we're in the bathrooms, trying to change around other women, packed like sardines. My chick added on a peel to my facial. So for two facials and a peel, in and out in an hour due to lack of everything, over $500. Id rather go to Massage Envy, do the spa vibe there, then get a damn Resort Pass and just use the pools at Wigwam. What a disappointing gift for my Mom. We anticipated an entire day relaxing and lounging and maybe even catching a nap. Not the experience I built up for her AT ALL. read more

Horrible experience. Pedicure was absolutely mediocre and the amenities were dirty and needed updating... i tried to also talk to my pedicurist about how i wanted my toes cut and she nipped me. Went here for the first time yesterday (Sunday) and paid $40 for the day pass (access to pool/sauna/steam room/robes lockers/etc). I was a nice clean atmosphere with calming music and a nice locker/bathroom/shower setup. The servers were consistently walking around checking on people and someone was always available if you had a question. Next time I'll try to book a blowout hair appointment or facial because it is a little pricey for $40 to just sit by the pool but it was still a good atmosphere! They used to provide complimentary smoothies I was told and they don't do that anymore but you can order poolside food (yes expensive). Pool was nice but did have leaves/bugs and floaties in it. Overall a nice getaway for a day, will come back with family when it's not 105 degrees! read more

I searched and researched spas looking for one to treat myself. I took a tour and was impressed with Lemonds. I booked my day and showed up anticipating a day of relaxation and pampering. They did not disappoint. First I had a salt scrub followed by a massage with a scalp treatment. John was very professional and good at his trade. The atmosphere was very soothing and the room very comfortable. After the scrub I took a shower to rinse the salt off before the massage. The room has a connecting shower. After the fabulous massage I was taken to the room next door with zero gravity recliners. Such a nice relaxing room. Then I changed into my swimsuit and sat in the jacuzzi. Then swam laps in the lap pool. Then a shower, with all the vitals included (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). They also have a lot of toiletries such as shower caps, tampons, toothbrushes, hair ties, razors etc). I sat in a quiet meditation room awaiting my facial. Haven was very good and the room so comfy. I would highly recommend for any special occasion or to treat yourself. You can also order lunch by the pool, but I didn't. You can spend the whole day relaxing when you sign up for a service there. The person who did my nails was not happy to give me a manicure. She began my manicure by falsely accusing me of having nail extensions. I told her no, these are my real nails with gel polish. I had booked a gel "stress free" manicure. She was very rough with removing my gel polish, leaving my nails paper thin. After only a week, my nails are breaking and peeling. This isn't normal for me. I've had gel nails for years and they never wear on me like this. The nail tech was very rushed. She complained about the lack of time. My pedicure does look good, and the facility was clean so I will give her that. Bottom line, I expected a "stress free" treatment and what I experienced was anything but. I came here on a Thursday to have a pool/spay day. The facilities are clean and well stocked. The employees were friendly. I enjoyed hanging out by the pool. There is pool service where you can order from the restaurant menu and cocktails/beers as well. Keep in mind it comes from the restaurant next door so it can take a little bit of time for him to run to get the food. Brad was working that day and provided excellent service, very attentive and friendly. I had a really great massage. I only signed up for the 30 minute and wish I had signed up for a longer one. The problem as it was in 2022, is the unfriendly attitudes of front desk staff. When you make a payment after the service, staff does not have any itemized bill for you to look over. You are expected to pay without knowing what's being paid. I could see the staff just wanted us to leave so I waited for the email payment confirmation (staff claims no paper receipt available either) to make sure what I just paid was correct. The entire ambience is extremely relaxing, clean and enjoyable. I spent 2 hours by the pool after my massage, it was fairly busy but even still, so relaxing and peaceful. I absolutely love this spa. They have easy parking, and the entire atmosphere is relaxing. They really incorporated a high class Sonoran feel. Their changing room is fairly similar to other spas. What really set them apart was the quiet rooms near the massage rooms. After your massage they have several dimly lit, quiet areas where you can relax before entering the dressing room again. They also have several sitting areas outside which would be amazing during the warmer months. I was able to take advantage of the sauna, steam room, and hot tub after my 60 minute massage. Since I live close they also offer a membership so you can enjoy all of the amenities during business hours! read more

I'm a local and have been coming to the spa for a long time. I've held off on writing a review, thinking, "Maybe they'll change ___ soon," but it's been long enough now that I think it's fair to share my observations. I spend almost all of my time in the women's section, so that's what this review is about. The good: -It's almost never busy. -I love that the steam room had a window facing outside. It doesn't feel like a cave. The meh: -Inconsistent amenities. For example, sometimes the towels are fully stocked, sometimes the shelf sits empty until you call the front service desk to tell them there are no towels. Sometimes there are iced towels by the steam room, but usually there are not. -The robes are dingy (more grayish than white) and just feel old. They're also, like in most spas, one-size-fits-all, so bring your own if you want something that fits well. (Note: they might have fixed this. I had a nice robe today.) -Sandals are also standard issue, one-size-fits-all (huge!). I bring my own flip flops, because the rubber ones they provide are literally twice as large as my foot. Definitely bring your own if you're smaller than a size 9. (Update: They switches from leaving them in lockers to picking your own from a basket, which is nice because you can choose medium/large/xlarge). -The music...I'm torn. It isn't standard spa music (relaxation music), but more like a channel you'd hear in Starbucks. Part of me likes it, because it felt less "stuffy," but the other part of me doesn't always care to listen to pop music while doing deep breathing in the steam room. I REALLY wish they had a music on/off button outside the door, next to the temperature control and timer. -This is one of the only spa steam rooms I've been in that isn't eucalyptus steam. I wish it was, because sometimes it seems a little bit like a locker room. The bad: -The patio furniture is horrendous. It should have been replaced or refinished years ago. See picture. -The showers can get gross. I'm talking about moldy tiles and gobs of hair gross. See picture. -The sauna doesn't get nearly hot enough. My husband and I have been coming here once a month for about ten months now. Our last two visits have been....ok. The spa overall is very beautiful and when we first started coming the service was exceptional. The pool outside isn't very relaxing to us. There's no lagoon, no stairs, only ladder stairs in and out, and very little shade. It's more of a lap pool and there isn't a co-Ed hot tub. The pool side service (with the exception of Brad) is terrible. My husband often had to leave the pool area and go inside to ask someone if we could order more drinks. Recently the locker rooms haven't been stocked either: no toilet paper in stalls, no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. We love our massages and our estheticians but we probably will move on to another spa. Not sure the overall experience is worth the price anymore. read more

I went to a salon in Scottsdale (NOT Lemonds) and received a very bad haircut. I went to Lemonds to see if they could fix it. New hairstylist Sarah looked at my hair and brought supervisor Brittany over to take a second look. Brittany fixed my hair beautifully and carefully explained everything that she was doing to Sarah. Brittany was such an awesome instructor to newbie Sarah, and I was so impressed with the mentoring being done. I am absolutely thrilled with my new haircut and made another appointment at Lemonds. I came here to get a haircut and it was such a strange experience. In other places they usually wash your hair but instead the hair stylist sprayed my hair with the bottle. In other places, my hair has been combed, parted, clipped and they start doing the haircut but at this place as soon as she got my hair wet, she cut it without combing it, parting it, or anything. She cut it just like that. I walk in, she sprays my hair and cuts it. I requested to get rid of the unhealthy ends of my hair which was less than an inch but I didn't like the haircut. I've been to beauty school before and this is not the way I was taught but oh well, I'm never coming back. read more

She was excellent, not only in her care getting to know you but she explained everything she was applying to my face and neck. There are many extras to this Facial....New techniques for massaging the neck and feet and hands, it was wonderful. They also have a new option light/sound therapies with a 18 minute meditation.....simple you just lie in the zero gravity bed and relax....this is a must due. For those of you with the Oura Ring ...try wearing it while you do this relaxation, it gets amazing results and insight on how your body handled the meditation...Definitely will be back ! read more
