Heads up: the egg rolls came four per order, despite the menu and server saying two--so clarify when ordering. Of everything we tried, the Singapore Vermicelli Curry Noodles were the standout. I was visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place while looking for places to eat on yelp. I chose this place due to the wide selection of different Asian cuisines on their menu. I wanted something that would be easy for my Vietnamese parents to eat. Upon walking in, the atmosphere was cute and cozy. The decor was very beautiful and gave me japan vibes with the pretty pink tree. I can definitely see many date nights here in the future. We choose many different dishes off the menu to try and we got the Pad Thai, Vietnamese beef stew (Bo Kho), special pho (Pho đặc biệt), vegetarian pho, shaken beef, short rib pho, etc. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. The food reminded us of home and it was comforting for the cold weather. The service was great as we walked in we were greeted right away and were seated. The food came out fresh and fast. Very beautifully designed restaurant! I love the modern decor and calm ambiance. It's refreshing to see such a restaurant style for Asian/Vietnamese cuisine. Menu had a good variety of dishes of Vietnamese, Thai, and American items with appetizers. Prices were fair for the portions you received, I left pretty full with one entree dish. Service was top notch, attentive, and friendly. Location is convenient, next to a busy street. Plenty of parking and in a small shopping center. Did a togo order yesterday and food was ready right as I got there. Interior during my brief pit stop was definitely modern and brightly lit and not crowded, so a great place for a date. My wife got the shaken beef and have to say that was excellent. Super tender beef, great seasoning, some vegetables to make you feel healthy and rice. Probably among the best renditions of the dish I've had anywhere, and would definitely get again. I got the bho ko (beef stew) with a baguette and that was very ok. The stew beef was super tender and unctuous, but the stew itself was on the thinner side and was very vegetal in flavor (i.e. you just taste the carrot). The bread was also not as crisp as I would like in the traditional pairing, but soft and serviceable. All in all, would be curious to try more of the menu. read more

I really wanted to like this place more! But I wasn't impressed with the Peking duck. It was a bit strangely watery...and the skin wasn't crispy nor flavorful enough. The imperial fish, however, was perfectly fried and crispy. Their fish sauce wasn't good enough to pair with the fish. It was bland and therefore leaving the whole experience wanting in taste. The lobster Baos were delicious though! Very flavorful. The Baos were soft. This place is on the pricier end. If I came back, I would try their Com Tam. Very good and attentive staff. I really wanted to like this place more! I talked my husband to coming here based on the previous Yelp reviews...which I don't know how other had completly different experiences then what we had! First, we were driving around to find this place, as Google maps told us to turn on Bell of Whitestone. So, we called the restaurant. The lady who answered did not understand what I was asking. She kept repeating the address (*which I already had). I knew it was was on Whitestone (near Bell Blvd) and found it. When we arrived, the place was mostly vacant except with one table with 4 people in the back (they left shortly after we got there). We got seated and reviewed the menu. WOW--never seen someone "strike thru" items on the menu (at least one on each page). When we finally decided the younger lady came over with her electronic device to take our order. I had a question on the Beef Chow main..as menu did not say what type (if any, but assumed it did contain) of noodles. She looked confused..came back with other lady, who spoke a little more English, and I reiterated my question. She still was not understanding me. So, I just said "OK, nevermind. I will order something else instead". I ended up, with what I figured was easy..Pad Thai and mentioned I wanted Shrimp. My husband order the Red Curry with chicken. Within in two minutes the lady reappeared and asked my husband "What type of meat did he want in curry?" He replied "Chicken". Then, a minute later, lady appeared again, and asked me what type of meat I wanted with my Pad Thai. I replied, "Shrimp". Then, both sat down at booth on other side of partition from us. Music playing above cut out for over 10 minutes..was defening in there...then came back on. Then, the lady comes with one dish in her hand, and was the Beef Chow Main. I looked at her, and stated "I did not order this, I just had a question about the noodles. I ordered the Pad Thai". She looked at me..and said "Oh, thought you wanted both. You don't want the Beef Chow Main". I stated I did not, only the Pad Thai. She took it away. She came back shortly after and presented my husband his Red Curry with rice, then my Pad Thai! Now, the food was the best part!!! I have been to many places and sometimes the noodles of the Pad Thai stick together, but this one did not. And the shimps were perfectly cooked (not rubbery). But, the best thing was my husband's Red Curry! I tasted it, and was the best tasking curry sauce I have ever had! He even asked for extra spicy, which usually I can't handle, but it was sooo good. He ate the peppers and vegetables out first, and I kept asking for spoonfuls of that sauce! Too bad the service did match the food. The ladies promptly sat down at booth again after they served us, and they never asked how the food was, and if we needed any more drinks. Luckily we had the water bootle at the table and I drank my ice tea slowly. We had to wave them down to get our bill. I really liked their food, but think I would order out next time. When I spotted TJade's, I knew I wanted to try it because I love Asian food. I went there about two months ago, but have been dragging my feet writing this review. It was a midweek lunch so it wasn't crowded at the restaurant. Besides myself, I think there was one table in the back that was occupied. I walked in, and I noticed it was nicely decorated. I don't know what the decor is near the back of the restaurant because I never got that far. They put me at the first table around the wall of the entrance. If you ever dined alone you'll be used to this. They put you in an area where you really can't be seen . The woman who seated me also took my order. An iced tea and the appetizer called three region sampler. It had five different appetizers with three different sauces. The iced tea was brought quickly, and it was just iced tea. Nothing special. It took about 10 - 15 minutes and my appetizer was served. The first I wanted to try was the shrimp on sugarcane. And it tasted like mince shrimp, no sugary taste no other seasonings that I can recognize. It was actually kind of bland. So I moved onto the pork patty skewers. They were tender and they were ground pork. Again, we are talking about no seasoning. I was wondering because a lot of the Asian foods that you eat are well seasoned but this place it was bland. Then I tried the eggrolls which I believe had some of the exact same sausage on it from the skewers. At least it tasted the same again no wow factor. I should state that it came with three different dipping sauces. One was a peanut sauce, one was a sweet chili sauce and the last was a spicy vinaigrette. So when I tried my next round of the same appetizers, I definitely put sauce on it this time, so it made it taste like the sauce flavor This is when I decided to plunge into the pork belly bao. This one was a challenge, and I changed the name to chewy chewy chewy. I took a small bite into it and started chewing five minutes later. I'm still chewing the same small piece. It was rough getting the whole bao finished. The final appetizer was the spring roll with shrimp. I knew better and put the peanut sauce on that and ate it. This was the least offensive one, but still it was kind of dry. During this time while I'm trying to eat it all, the lady who sent me kept coming over to see if I needed anything else +2 other male waiters kept interrupting me to see if they can help me. Someone would say this is good Service I called annoying because I wanted to be left alone . This disgusting appetizer cost me $25. I will never order it again. Actually, I'm pretty sure I am never gonna be here again. And if you check out the reviews, you will find most of them are from out of state with just one to five total reviews done, I find that suspicious. read more

This was my first time eating here. I wanted to go for quite some time. The menu is pricey. The food portion was smaller for the price. The ambiance is very upscale. The service and staff were wonderful. They are greater than a 4 star, but less than a 5 star. I will return and recommend to others. read more

I was super excited to see a Vietnamese restaurant in cedar park. Location great and restaurant very pretty. Menu is very large. What was disappointing was that the menu has several item that was crossed off by a permanent marker, sooo tacky. I ordered their signature dish "broken rice". Owner stopped by and said this is their best dish. To my surprise this was not good. Rice was warm but dried out, like it was days old. The pork chop was almost as thin as a piece of paper. Pork chop was topped with a scallion oil which was fine but the pork chop itself was sooooo greasy. They didn't grill the pork chop as the traditional calls for. They pan fried it with so much it was inedible. If this is their signature dish that they charge almost $20 for I wouldn't want to try the rest of the menu. The food and service did not match the price. We ordered the beef stew, beef ball pho, special pho, and the chicken wings. (The second star belongs just to the chicken wings) the service was actually such a red flag that we tried to cancel our order and go somewhere else (probably two minutes after we placed it) but they wouldn't let us. The inside is aesthetically really nice but the smell of air freshener and incense is very overwhelming. I wanted to love this place since it's so close to home but really cannot find much good to say. We spent over 100.00 just to go home and make sandwiches. read more

Food: Everything we've tried so far has been wonderful (and I'd warn you against some dishes if they were lackluster). The pho broth was rich and flavorful, and the short rib was super tender. This spot is so good they offer a range of asian dishes each having their own menu page. We had the duck wonton soup, pho, Butter Chicken and shrimp pad Thai. The wonton and pho were both very good and the pho was better quality then some other spots nearby. This place is very clean and the ambiance is great its a very good place for a date and even a special dinner. The price ranges were nice you can either order more elevated items like lobster or crab or some good old fried rice. Our server was super attentive and kind and really took good care of us. By far one of my favorite spots in cedar park. You have to to try their duck wonton! read more

This place has great ambiance and service, however they really lack the components of a good menu. From my personal preference I like when asian food ranges from sweet to spicy, but this restaurant really only had sweet flavors.
