My boyfriend and I eat here FAR too often, but it never seems like we can go often ENOUGH! BEST BEST BEST Asian fusion in the QC. I love all of their drinks, everything I've eaten here has been the best, and the wait staff.. OH MY the wait staff is almost our most favorite part. We even have two favorite waitresses that have grown to recognize us and greet/send us with the most genuine smiles and jokes. :) We'll soon be moving out of state and we both agree that it's going to be hard to find an Asian food place we love as much as this one. Best Thai food in the Quad-Cities, barely edging out Kong's, in my opinion. I usually get the Pad Kee Mao, but have had many different dishes and they are all great. Just a warning, the Pad Kee Mao comes spicy even if you don't request it to be. Which is why I love it! Crispy duck, drunken noodles, pad thai, all the standards are great! Dude. Lemongrass. Oh my god. I've considered moving across the river just so I can be closer to this place. The Wor Won Ton Noodle soup is my favorite. My sister says the kimchi fried rice sucks, but who goes to a legit Asian fusion restaurant and orders fried rice? You know that person can't have good taste. Huge fan. 4. 5 stars. The first time I went there I recognized a few menu items from time I spent in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I ordered the Tom Yum and the Kai Soi soup and when it came out I said something like "damn, it smells like chiang mai". It tasted amazing and authentic with sweet, rich, salty and tangy flavors that only Thai food can pull off. After the meal I asked our server where they were from and she said "Chiang Mai!" - really funny coincidence. Great place to go for fresh, authentic, delicious food - it has very reasonable prices and you feel good about helping out a sweet, Thai family owned business - they're thrilled to see new people walk in their doors. * Definitely a treat for the Quad Cities. read more

Sat up at the bar where I had a close up view of how hard working and friendly this crew is, they earn the 5 stars on their own! To top it off, EVERY DISH I've had here has been awesome! Today was Tom Yum noodle soup with chicken- be warned, it is a full meal with a good kick of spice! Delicious! The service is amazing and fast even when they're busy, and they don't seem to mind us slow-food lingerers- I have never felt pressured to leave! We ate at lemongrass Cafe and what a treat it was. The staff was very attentive. Customer service is very important at this establishment. We had appetizers that were very delicious with some coconut soup with shrimp it was very good. Cheese and crab wontons were also very good. We had old school pad Thai it was so fantastic. The flavor was a perfect combination of spices. We also had beef bulgolgi it also was delicious. The price of are meal was a very good price. We will definitely be back to this place. read more

I'm from the Chicagoland area and just came here to attend Augustana College. A commuter took me here the other night and it is by far the BEST Thai food I've ever had. This place is everything. I never thought that I would be able to find such a gem of a place in such a small town. The flavors that are delivered are out of this world. I decided to try this place out one day on my trip out to the the QC area fro work and then ended up eating there almost every day afterword. It got to the point where I even had my own table in the restaurant, Usually a problem with Asian Fusion restaurants is that their menu is too big and they end up having things on the menu that they cannot execute effectively. I tried at least 15 dishes on the menu and each one was phenomenal. The flavors are bold. The spicy dishes hang on that border of immense flavor without being to spicy to eat. The best dish by far, is the crispy duck. The duck has a very crisp skin with a tender juicy meat that is flavorful and subtly sweet. It is one of those dishes that I will never forget. It has the perfect variety of texture and believe it or not, even if you reheat the dish, it doesn't loose much of it's original luster. Is this worth the two hour drive from Chicago? Came here for the first time on Wednesday with some friends. The service was great. We received our food in a timely manner. I ordered the Poor Mans Noodles with Chicken. Delicious! I couldn't stop thinking about it the next day! I was craving it! My friend had the Pad Thai Chicken and she tried some of mine and wished she ordered what I had! I also ordered a Black Berry Mojito! So apparently this is owned by Exotic Thai, but in my opinion, it's nothing like Exotic Thai. Lemongrass is not overpriced and the food is really good. I usually stick with the Buddha Rolls and Pad Thai and always enjoy every last bit of it. I've ordered the same-ish items at Exotic Thai and they had so much less flavor and were more expensive. Unfortunately, Thai food in the Quad Cities costs about twice as much as in Chicago and other big cities, but Lemongrass is much more reasonably priced for the area than Exotic Thai. Lemongrass has a daily lunch special but also offers a lunch sized portion alone, which is good for those of us who don't want the salad and soup. read more

As a vegetarian, there were plenty of options for me, as almost any rice or noodles come without meat or with the option of tofu. Great soup with the bento box, and the Korean slaw and fruit are super refreshing. Their homemade peanut sauce that comes with the Vietnamese hand rolls is so good, I could eat with a spoon. You know it was positive experience. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The food, well I can't complain - if I could change one thing is to add more vegetables to the dish I had but that is always a request of a vegan. Great Bento box option for lunch comes with soup, noodle selection, veggie roll, Korean slaw (i think). The Lemongrass Bouillabaisse is a gift from god, huge serving of soup with great fresh vegetables and a ton of seafood. Pad Thai and curries are vibrant, beautiful, and tasty. Being from the state of Washington, I have never seen such a shortage of decent Thai food. After trying a handful of Thai restaurants around the Quad Cities this was the one that has outshone the rest. I now make sure that I come here at least once a month trying new things on the menu. Chili Tamarind is a must try and their specials never seem to fail. It is very casual here, however, during their lunch rush and dinner rush it gets quite loud. Everything from wall art to their light fixtures seem just right for the setting. Omg... This place was great! My drink was a ginger martini... There was so much fresh ginger and it was great! I had the lemongrass steak and O.. M.. G... I'm still thinking about it. The place is supposed to be open until 9:00 p.m. and I walked in at 8:40 trying to order takeout and they told me that the place is not able to cook food because the kitchen is being cleaned.
