I love not only the food but the atmosphere here. It's got some charm as far as the old building goes. The entrance has a few steps up, which adds character, but does limit accessibility for some folks. I love the orange color that they've painted the walls. I enjoyed the Pad See Ew dish which was flavorful and delicious-with just the right amount of chicken. The portion size was generous too. Let me start by saying the price and service was fair and decent, nothing I ordered was. I started with Tom Kha soup. The color (and flavor) was very watered down and you couldn't even tell it's a coconut milk broth. I've had this a lot of places, and every other one had had more items inside the soup and bursting with smell and flavor. It was just the beginning of my disappointment. My entree came and again I was taken aback. I had ordered pad see ew. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes. It was 1/2 filled with Chinese broccoli. It's not not the texture of broccoli you may be familiar with, it's like chopped spinach - which is fine, but a little goes a long was and my plate had piles of it. Additionally, the noodles seemed like they had been pre cooked. They were mushy, clumped all together and lacked any flavor. They definitely went light on the fish or oyster sauce. The meal also went light on the chicken. My soup had almost as much chicken as my entree. I can't speak for the other menu items and this place seems popular for the locals. Iced Tea, should be a darker color than pee! Garlic noodles should have GARLIC in them! Not a touch of garlic did I find! The sauce was all wrong, super salty soy sauce, not the tasty buttery garlic sauce I remember. Who the hell puts ICEBURGE LETTUCE in a stir-fry? They should've used cabbage or bok choy! Chicken was dry and tough as leather! Noodles were sparse and short. Not the long and thick chow mein noodles of the past. Egg roll was tiny, and barely had any stuffing in it. While the chow mein looks appetizing, I'm not pleased with the taste of this chow mein. There is zero flavor, the veggies are half steamed and the noodles are soggy. For over $15 for this I'm pretty upset honestly. It is going in the trash unfortunately. The portion is decent, if it had been good I would have eaten the whole thing being 8 months pregnant. The dumplings are fantastic! I ate all of those, not pleased 6 of them cost me over $8 but at least they tasted very good Since one item I got was great and the other was not, I give it 3 stars. Great Thai food with friendly service! My fiancé and I were staying in Vernal and stopped in here this past Wednesday to pick up dinner. We were greeted by the hostess who then promptly took our order since we were doing take out. We ordered the Thai spicy salad, pad thai with chicken, and Thai spicy basil with pork. While we waited, I couldn't help but notice that the restaurant was nice and clean. The wait wasn't bad either. I would say we waited for about 10-15 min. Once we got our food, the staff provided us utensils and napkins, which was really nice of them. We brought our food back to our hotel and found everything to be delicious! The Thai spicy salad was extremely flavorful but it was a bit too much heat for us to enjoy. The pad thai and spicy basil were really good. The portions were also very generous for the price we paid. The next time we stay in Vernal, we will be sure to stop in again. I definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

Boyfriend raved about how good this place was. Loved the fried chicken wings but they don't offer them anymore. So we gave it a go anyway. Well, his food tasted pretty good but it had shrimp instead of chicken. The box was even marked PT/CK. They offered to make him a new one. He drove back there and picked up his new dish. Apparently they were swamped and the speech translation was difficult. Meanwhile at home, I found metal in my food. According to the lady at the desk, it's part of something they use to clean their dishes with. Me and my partner are passing through Vernal and we love Thai food so we decided to stop by for dinner. We ordered the Panang curry and the Pad Thai Our meals arrived quickly! The curry was great, we both loved it! The Pad Thai however was not edible, if you've ever had Pad Thai you kinda know what to expect when ordering it but the flavors were so off. it was Tangy and tasted like it was made with something that had possibly been bad! We each took 1-2 bites and decided we didn't like it and weren't going to eat it. We kindly sent it back and just told our waitress we didn't like the way it tasted. The entire dish was still plated. She said she could take the dish but we still have to pay for it. I told her I'm so sorry but we do not want to pay for an expensive plate that we didn't eat more than 4 total bites of. She proceeded to argue with me and told me she doesn't care if we didn't like it we still need to pay for it. She then removes the curry that we're still eating from our table without asking if we we were finished or wanted a box (we did) and puts it into the garbage. I asked her again to please adjust my check so that I can pay for the entree we did eat and leave and explained to her that we need to leave. She refused to adjust it and ignored our table while continuing to work and take care of other people around us. I then went to the register and explained to someone else what had happened and asked her to please remove the food we didn't eat so that we could leave. She walked away without saying anything and without adjusting our check. At this point I was truly getting mad. I spoke with our waitress again and explained to her I've worked in the service industry for years and would never expect or ask a customer to pay for a meal they couldn't eat and sent back. Anyways- finally after tons of haggle and arguing I got them to adjust our check so that we could pay for our 1 entree and our 1 drink and go. Such a nice, updated and clean restaurant that also serves food that is SO GOOD!! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. We got the chicken dumplings for an appetizer; they were perfectly crisp and yummy, with a delicious traditional Thai sauce for dipping. For our meals, I ordered the lettuce wraps and he got the shrimp and scallop yellow curry with jasmine rice. Yum!! They were both made with very fresh ingredients and the shrimp were huge! So the service is a little slow and can be a somewhat disjointed, but they haven't even had their grand opening yet (just a soft opening to sort things out). Next up, chicken satay with peanut sauce, Oh My Goodness, fall off the skewer chicken and the peanut sauce is a little thicker than average, but not overpowering, perfect blend of flavors. I arrived 30 minutes later only to be told that my online order did not print out, so they hadn't cooked it. They said if I still wanted the order it would be 40 minutes. The first time we visited Lemongrass Thai Fusion was nearly a year ago to the date. The lockdown was in full swing, and sleepy Vernal was even sleepier. We were in town working on a project and would pass the "opening soon" sign, hoping it would indeed open soon, before our project ended. We made it on our second to last day in town, a skeleton crew, the other half having returned home already, and caught the restaurant on one of the first days they were open. At that time, it seemed as if we'd caught them by surprise: eight of us showing up after lunchtime, and clearly out-of-towners. We were hungry and anxious for Thai food. Menus went around, orders were made. The waitress snarkily answered, "this isn't LA", when two of us asked if they had tofu. Maybe that was a bad sign. Our expectations weren't that high. Being from LA, we're used to a plentitude of Thai restaurants to choose from. Vernal has one, and we hoped it would be at least passable. And we were hungry. It was passable. It was fine. I guess one should assume that, by that point, the restaurant hadn't found its groove yet. A year later, we're back in town, and again craving Thai food. The lockdown was hard on businesses everywhere, so we hoped they were still open. Our work place covid protocols limit our restaurant choices, and Vernal is small, so we NEEDED them to still be open. To our relief, they are, and it certainly seems as if they've found their groove, and not just because this time tofu was on the menu. As I've mentioned before, I order food for a lot of people, and this time we ordered takeout for twice as many as had visited last time. I felt like I had a secret weapon in my pocket when I offered the choice to those who hadn't been there, having a new confidence at seeing their expanded menu. The takeout order was managed by Jamie, who was attentive and accurate. Lunch, for us, is a time specific event, so it's important that everything is on time and without complication. Jamie and the staff seemed to handle it with ease and, to our great satisfaction. Some of the crew were unfamiliar with Thai food, accepting advice as to what to order, while others are big city pros, ordering, almost, without even consulting the menu. Let me say that all were delighted, newbies and experts, alike. Our meal was, honestly, the best we'd had in town in the first two weeks we'd been here. The food tastes authentic, fresh, and being takeout, packaged with great care. This is now one of our go-to spots in Vernal. We've tried some really good restaurants here, but I'd like to consider this among the best in town. Thumbs all the way up. read more

Be careful ordering take out or you will get ripped off. I ordered 2 cucumber salads to go for pick up and it was so small it was ridiculous. They put it in a tiny condiment cup the size of a quarter. it was literally like 2 tablespoons worth. They give you way more when you are eating inside...why they would even think that is ok I don't understand. Get some bigger take out cups that aren't the size of a quarter.
