STAN CAFÉ is now Marlina's CAFÉ and she didn't disappoint. Best breakfast , lunch in town. Hands down!!

Corned beef with home fries, and 2 eggs, with white toast. French toast belt buster omelet.

Great food at a very low price, service was great, plenty of parking and the place is located right off route 6. Older crowd which meant great atmosphere.

What a place! From the outside it doesn't look like much but it has lots of seating inside and a friendly staff. And the food ..... it was great. Sausage gravy and biscuits - was delicious. There was plenty of gravy and tender biscuits. The pancakes were HUGE. I had the breakfast club #4 - 2 eggs cooked just as I like them, bacon that while thin was prepared perfectly, and 2 pancakes. You really only need one. The pancakes were delicious- not too thin, had a good body and yet weren't tough. The coffee was delightful. Sometimes it is hard to find good coffee, but this is good. A local roaster from Honesdale. Always nice to support local business.

We love this place! The portion is so big... We ordered omelette for meat lovers or something like that and 3 adults could eat that and that was enough. The food is also simple but tasty. Whenever we come to beach lake, we eat here.

Good prices, great homemade corn beef hash. Omelettes made with fresh vegetables. Friendly waitresses. My only complaint,if you could call it that is the menu is slightly limited. No eggs Benedict, no breakfast burritos or quesadillas, no waffles . All in all a nice place with good food.

Stopped in for a bite. Busy place means great food and it doesn't disappoint. Hubby ordered a shortstack of BB pancakes w/ eggs over easy, sausage and home fries. I had the biscuits and gravy and gave him my eggs. Had a bit of a wait, but understandable for how busy they were. Food, as usual, is awesome. Great place for breakfast or lunch.

However, my boyfriend was suffering from low blood pressure and he needed food. They brought his eggs and they were over easy (runny) and he had ordered over-hard. Its pretty sad that the cook doesn't know how to cook an egg and it's pretty sad that the waitress didn't realize that the eggs were over easy for the second time. Everyone behind the counter was helpful to us. As I admired their work it was easy to see how Tilly's has remained a local favorite. The continuous boots on the ground - foot traffic of bussing tables, serving food, taking orders - was all calculated chaos. At the heart of it all was the food that came at a reasonable time and the conversations you had with local neighbors and customers who sat near you. The French toast was delicious, not too sweet but the syrup was aplenty. The omelette was seasoned well, packed with flavor. However the potatoes were serviceable at best. The Tilly's Waitress Special was the quintessential breakfast meal. Tilly's left us satisfied and full

The diner is incredibly popular, so don't be surprised if there's a wait during peak hours. Between the convenient location right off the highway and its reputation as a Catskills institution, it's easy to see why so many travelers make this a regular stop. One of my favorite details is the collection of college banners hanging throughout the restaurant. Every visit, I find myself looking around to see which schools are represented. Food-wise, the deep-fried French toast is the menu item everyone talks about, and for good reason. I usually order one of their omelets with sausage links, and it's always hearty and satisfying. Before heading out, take a look at the bakery case. They offer a great selection of cookies, including several gluten-free varieties, which is something I always appreciate. As someone who eats gluten-free, I'd love to see them expand those options even further with gluten-free bread or a few additional menu items. The diner has also added an ice cream shop behind the main building, making it an even more enjoyable stop during the warmer months. Service has always been friendly, though things can move a little slower when the restaurant is packed. If you're ordering takeout, it's also worth double-checking your order before leaving, as we've occasionally had an item missed. The building itself shows its age, and while a refresh could certainly brighten things up, there's also something comforting about the nostalgia that comes with a classic roadside diner that's been serving travelers for generations. I do miss the days when Roscoe Diner stayed open later, but I understand how much the restaurant industry--and small-town economies--have changed over the years. No place is perfect, but Roscoe Diner remains one of those special stops that feels woven into the Catskills experience.
