    Hamburger
    Sarah L.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! I got the hamburger fully loaded with potato salad and my boyfriend got the ribs with beans and mac n cheese. The white sauce is to die for. A little runny but amazing vinegar taste. The ribs are slow cooked and so tender! Great rub on them! Mac n cheese has the shell pasta and loaded with cheese! The potato salad was great with the red potatoes! The beans were my favorite! It was Smokey and had pieces of meat in them! My favorite side! This place has pictures of DDD man himself! This was amazing and will definitely be back to try more!

Everything tasted truly amazing. The beans and the brisket sandwich was a 10/10. The fires were a little soggy, not fresh or crispy. The service was great and the store was clean.

DDD Burger. Doesn't look like much but it was so much I could barely finish it.

Well I now have the best burger I have ever had, The DDD, named after Guy Fieri. Patty was thick and cooked to perfection and the candied rib, Lord help me. The sauces were very good. The white sauce blows away anything you can get in North Alabama. You order at a counter and they write your order out on a paper bag. My colleague and I sat outside and I know it was freshly cooked since it took a few minutes to get to us. The inside is unassuming as is the building but we did enjoy the outside seating. The baked beans were also good with shreds of pork mixed in. They had a slight spicy kick to them but was not overwelming. I highly recommend Meat Boss when in the area.

Stop by on the way to Tampa from Biloxi. Fast service. Nice clean place. There a lady asking every table make sure we are doing ok.

Wonderful food and wonderful staff! We stopped on the way to do something else and figured we would try it out. My husband had the brisket and I had the pulled pork on a sweet bun. It was mouthwatering! Y'all come eat. You won't regret a single bite.

    We took pictures outside.

Some of the best bbq I've ever had. The brisket was the right combination of beef and fat with just the right amount of smoke.

The customer service was fabulous, and we had Jarvis assisting us. He kept his rather entertained keeping our water filled. If you need a recommendation from Jarvis,-' definitely get the water .' You can see the big grill where all the meat is smoked. Our table of six had an assortment of combo meals from the pulled chicken to the ribs to the half chicken to the smoked sausage, even a baked potato. I forget the name of the dessert we tried, but it was good. It was almost like a chocolate mousse. I didn't have the iced tea, but it seemed to be popular there. I really enjoyed that mac & cheese, it was really creamy and typically don't have mac and cheese. The coleslaw was good too! The beans were a bit too sweet for many at the table. I wasn't a huge fan of the vinegar styled barbecue sauce, but I'm glad I tried it. Yeah, atmosphere is welcoming, and I would recommend trying out their barbecue in the future if you're in the area.

They are a bbq place so of course I ordered the rib plate. The menu I saw said it came with 2 sides but when I was on the phone the man said the plate came with vinegar based coleslaw. I don't normally do coleslaw but I didn't want to complicate things so I went with it. That completed my order so I headed down to pick it up. I wasn't sure of the atmosphere of this place since it was my first time ordering. I got there and it seemed like a cozy little place to eat. There appeared to be limited parking. There is space in the back and on the side. I parked on the side of the building. When I was approaching the front of the place I saw that one of the windows had been knocked out. There was glass laying below the window. Also, the part of the deck right before you walk in the door was a little unstable. Not sure if this was apart of the ambiance but it didn't deter me. Anyway my order was waiting when I got to the cashier. The ride home smelled delightful. The first thing I did when I got home was try the coleslaw. It didn't look all too appealing but it was coleslaw. Coleslaw in my estimation is not a food that is aesthetically appealing. Anyway, the coleslaw was edible to me even though I'm not a coleslaw person. I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't like coleslaw. Next up, the ribs. They looked amazing. They had some little burnt parts that make it authentic bbq. I should've tried them without the sauce but I poured the sauce on first. The sauce and the ribs were excellent. The sauce was a mustard based sauce and it was delicious. The weren't especially juicy since they were babyback ribs but the taste was excellent. And the French bread and the little onions added a nice little touch to the plate. All in all I'll give my experience 4 stars. I wasn't quite sure what was going on with the building. Was it broken into or not? That did take a bit from my score but the food and service aspect of it was top notch. Go to Bay Barbecue. You won't be disappointed.

Moe's Original Bar B Que is my favorite barbecue chain restaurant and whenever I am in the Mobile, Alabama area, I usually stop by one of their locations. I usually go to their downtown location or their location in Daphne, Alabama, but I never stopped by this particular location. The ambiance here is what you would expect from a Moe's Original Bar B Que. Nothing fancy, but barbecue is not supposed to be fancy. I always get the half chicken at Moe's Original Bar B Que, but they were out of the chicken, so I went with the park. For my sides, I went with the collard greens and the mac and cheese. The pork was good, though I prefer the chicken. The collards were good, but the mac and cheese was a bit weak. All in all,a good enough experience.

The employee that spilled the container just watched as the guy mopped it up and at one time there were 4 employees watching the guy clean up the mess. I was finally able to make a point of making a special trip over there on a Saturday late afternoon. Unfortunately it still wasn't the best timing for a first trip or making a review as we were limited to what we could order based on the fact that their hours state they close at 5 but they shut the kitchen down at 4:30 and we got there just after 4. It's hard going out for dinner to a place that closes at 4:30. I ordered a sausage sandwich which to my delight was not the monotonous Conecuh. It was really good and reminiscent of some of the whole in the wall places in Texas that does good sausage. The only draw back was that being near closing time they didn't have links but was able to do slices. It was good but hard to eat. My hubs got chicken and ribs. I liked the ribs... they still had some bite, tender but not falling apart, and the smoke is mild, not overkill like so many other places do. Hubs wasn't a huge fan of but I thought they were nice. The chicken was on the dry side, but I never go to a bbq joint to order chicken so it's not a deal breaker for me. The only major downer was that all of our sides seemed to be standard pre-made and ordered items, not made in-house. I also liked the hole in the wall vibe, the friendly staff, and the divine smoke aroma that lets you know you're in the right bbq joint. All in all I enjoyed their Q and will need to go back when I can get the timing right to sample their steam table offerings.
