I attempted to obtain information prior to making a purchase and the lady associate (i regretfully did not get her name) was so off-putting. I was clearly ignoring her by asking her questions and she spent more time talking over me than addressing my concerns. The "team lead" on duty was not much better. This was the polar opposite of the customer service I received at the Rookwood location. I would have completed my purchase there but they were out of stock of what I needed. I really like my sunglass bifocals They are great for the reflecting sunlight coming off ofthe snow and I surprisingly can see out of the tinted bifocal section. The distance part is great for seeing potholes so they don't sneak up on you. read more

This is my experience at LensCrafter at 9998 Kings Auto Mall Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249. I'm beyond disappointed with the way my recent eye appointment was handled. I rearranged my entire day to make this work -- left my job early, picked up my daughter ahead of schedule, and even had my husband cancel his gym training appointment (just in case my eyes are dilated in eye exam) so we could make it on time. We arrived literally one minute late, and to our shock, they canceled the appointment without any flexibility or understanding. One minute. No grace period, no courtesy call, no empathy for the effort we made. We value punctuality, but life happens -- especially when juggling work, school, and family. The lack of professionalism and compassion was really upsetting. After all that effort, we were turned away without any concern for our time. I expected better care and basic decency. My entire experience, from eye exam, to glasses, to attempting to get contacts lenses has been BS and I have no intention on returning there in the future. Very positive experience at Lens Crafters in Sycamore Plaza, (across from Kenwood Towne Center). I called for an eye exam and spoke to someone very cordial on the phone. I was told that there were no appointments available for that day, but if I wanted to come in and be fitted in between appointments, I could do that. I did go in that afternoon and did not have to wait long at all. I had an eye exam with Dr. Jenna Nieman. The exam was very thorough and Dr. Nieman answered all the questions that I had. When the exam was over and I was getting my receipt, Matt, an optometrist from Lens Crafters came over and asked if I needed my present glasses cleaned or adjusted, I took him up on his offer. I was very pleased with the eye exam and having my glasses adjusted. Good job everyone, thank you. read more

Had my exam with Dr. Lindsell who is excellent and very personable too! I got the Retinal Photography Screening for an additional fee which showed the health of my eyes and felt reassured when Dr. Tonya said they looked healthy. It was certainly worth it to know the state of my eyes since both parents had macular degeneration at my age. Then I went to the Frames department but could not find any that I liked. Tiffany was very helpful and understood my desire to have a similar frame. I did find my original frame online and will bring them in for my lens purchase. As usual, Lenscrafters is the BEST choice for me. If you are looking for expert eye care call them for an appointment. read more

The team at LensCrafters Kenwood is fantastic. Our family all needs glasses and the whole team - the manager Amber, assistant manager Rachelle and apprentice optimist Sam were so good to work with. Many people come in for glasses to coincide with their insurance dates. We were in the store at their busiest times. They carefully pay attention to the order guests come in, are very knowledge about a very technical product line and around fashion, great hospitality. We love the experience and results. I had a very good shopping experience at LensCrafters today. After leaving me to browse frames for awhile, I sat down with Kristin and the 7 styles I had narrowed it down to. She took pictures of me in each so I could compare side by side and slowly narrow down my selection. She and another associate also pulled a few styles they thought I would like and offered input. Both of the associates were the right amount of helpful - not too pushy but willing to offer some advice and commentary. I appreciated the help. (Kristen and I also bonded over pictures of our cats.) The process of choosing frames, lenses, applying insurance and paying was so easy! And my glasses, with low prescription, single lenses, were actually ready in about 20 minutes! (Specialty lenses or bifocals would likely take longer.) Although there was a nice selection of frames, there really wasn't a big variety of styles. I woke up to find that my 6 month old puppy absolutely destroyed my glasses. I desperately need my glasses to see and this LensCrafters location was able to get me in for an eye exam, help me choose my glasses, and get them to me all in the same day. Everyone there had exceptional service skills but Libby really saved the day. She helped me pick out glasses and guide me around the store and the process because I couldn't see. Lenscrafters used to be a very customer oriented business. No More. Two years ago I wanted to purchase a set of $500 + prescription sunglasses; 5 weeks prior to a vacation. Delivery was 2 weeks, however, they messed the order up twice and were not able to produce these in 5 weeks (they also acted very indifferent to me needing the glasses by my vacation). Went to Wing after the vacation and had a quality pair in less than two weeks. Last week I went back to Lenscrafters for a replacement Ray Ban frame as my regular glasses, purchased there, had broken after 2 years. She couldn't get through to Headquarters to check on their availability , complaining that they never answer the phones as they were always in meetings. She took my number and said that she would call back, but it took 4 days for her to call me back (she said that she was off but someone else was supposed to call). In waiting the 4 days , I found the correct new frame on EBay and purchased them. Bottom line, Luxxotica has purchased 90% of the eyeware business in the US and customer service is simply NOT a priority anymore. Most employees are disgruntled ( I know, I used to work there), therefore customer service is nonexistent. read more

I came in today with my mom as a "walk-in" for both a vision exam and to get her new prescription placed in her glasses. They took her right back! We were greeted by all of the staff, and the atmosphere is so warm & friendly. I visited the Western Hills location and tried to purchase safety glasses thru my company insurance. The woman helping me had a hard time with the tablet, after a few minutes she took all of my info and measurements. I told her I would call her and give her my credit card info on Friday. I called on that particular Friday and gave my cc info and the lady said I could pick up my over the weekend. I went in on Sunday to find out that my order was cancelled and my glasses werent ordered. The gm Michelle said to call her on Monday, I did... I actually called three times on Monday without a call back!!! Western Hills store was terrible to deal with period!!! I will never go back even though its right around the corner from my house. I lost my glasses and needed a pair quickly! I wear progressive bifocals and needed someone to start from scratch. This staff is the best! They were courteous, helpful, answered any questions that I had. I went back to have my lenses redone w/o the anti-reflective. Staff said no problem, helped me and treated me the same as if I was buying a new pair. Got my glasses and the best pair of bifocals ever! The digital exam was fantastic. Highly recommend. read more

This is a review for Lencrafters across the street from the Kenwood Mall. They are awesome! They replaced a a very nice pair of glasses for me when they did not have to do so. There was a miscommunication on their part and mine part too. They made it right even though it was not entirely their fault. Because of an eye condition, I will need to order glasses more often. I can't wait to order from them. Thank you to Kristyn and Kim. You were helpful and understanding. You also were very professional in representing LenCrafters so that I understood how glasses are replaced in the future. Sometimes their are just miscommunications but rarely does anyone correct them if they do not have to. You did not have to help me but you did. I will do my best to use you for my glasses in the future and recommend you to everyone. Thank you so much! Had a 12:15 appt scheduled on a Saturday. Due to the mall being packed and it taking 20 minutes to find a parking space I was running about 10 minutes late. Definitely figured I'd have to wait a bit longer which I was OK with, being late. Only 2 people were seen before me & finished with the doc who was working. They called my name at exactly 12:50, & notified me the Dr needed to take a lunch. Wouldn't be able to see me until 2:30. This on my BIRTHDAY, of all days wasn't going to work which I explained to them. All I got was an I'm sorry, even though the appt wouldn't take the Dr more than 20 mins to complete because I wasn't getting my eyes dilated. What happened to customer service? No one was waiting behind me, instead of completing their scheduled appointments before lunch, they decided they couldn't wait 20 more mins to eat and instead have me wait another hour & 45 mins for the Dr to come back??? Needless to say the douche of a Dr was standing right there huffing and puffing in front of me the entire time. Bottom LINE: Take your business elsewhere, where customers actually matter. Don't waste the 2 hours of your life I did that I'll never get back. read more

I've been using the LensCrafters location across from Nordstroms for several years for my safety glasses. When I Went this year, they had upgraded their equipment, making the fitting a much easier process. When I went back to pick up my glasses, I was waited on by Kim. She had also done the original fitting. The glasses fit perfectly, without any other adjustments. All that is good, but this is the reason Im writing this review. After verifying everything was perfect, I made the comment that I had one more stop to make this afternoon, and that was to go to a different eyewear provider to have the pair I was wearing readjusted. Kim offered to adjust them for me, and quickly returned them to me fixed!. Being Christmas Eve, that saved me a lot of valuable time. That alone made me a very satisfied customer, and will keep me coming back for my optical needs! Good service, like that, has become hard to find. read more
