SVS vision has always been professional and thorough in my exams. But beyond that they really do care about their patients - from scheduling, to greeting you for your appointment, to examining, to selection of eye product needs, they are warm and friendly. They are flexible in scheduling. Also they offered me suggestions to keep the costs as close to what my insurance would cover (rather than trying to over-sell me products). But here is my real testimony - three years ago I had my SVS appointment first thing in the morning. I ordered new glasses while there. Unfortunately at my next appointment of my day I unexpectedly learned I had a brain tumor (yeah right!) The tumor was sitting right over my eyes, on my sinuses. So a few days later, after the dust settled, I realized this might very well impact my glasses prescription (once I had the tumor removed and recovered). So I called to cancel the new glasses, but it was too late. They had been ordered. SVS staff were so kind to me. They assured me this would not be a problem. Once I was ready I should schedule an appointment for a new exam to see if anything changed. If my prescription had changed they would order new glasses. A couple of months later they provided this new exam at no cost to me (even though my insurance will only pay for one exam per year.) The exam seemed to me to be exceptionally thorough, making sure there were no changes related to the tumor or subsequent surgery. I tried SVS Vision for the first time this year. I was happy with where I had gone before, but my insurance changed and the other place was no longer covered. I loved that it was very easy to set up an appointment online. Yes, I was one of those quickly making an appointment one night near the end of the year when I had a little time off...and before the benefit year was up! The office was ready for my at the appointment time. I was able to get all my questions answered, plus get a great prescription for me. I ordered one pair of glasses through them as well that I'm waiting on. In the meantime, I went to a different same day lens service in the area to get some inexpensive, single vision back up glasses in short order. The prescription worked great for these and I can see very well. I'm looking forward to getting my primary glasses I ordered through SVS Vision in a week or so. I liked their selection of frames, including Ann Klein. I'm expect I'll return to SVS Vision in 2022! read more

They accommodated me at the last minute and were extremely personable. There was no pressure to purchase and they handed me my prescription without any pushback so I could order my glasses online if I chose to, which is very rare. I have had to make several calls to prior ophthalmologists to acquire my script in the past, and they always gave me a hard time. Not so here, as I have had 2 appointments 2 years apart and both times it wasn't an issue at all. I even decided to purchase my glasses here because Dr. Winkler was so friendly and Stacy (if I remember her name correctly) picked out the perfect glasses for my very petite face but held the order so I could look around online. And they didn't get crazy when I removed my mask to see how I looked in the glasses I tried on. Highly recommend. read more

I would highly recommend going here for glasses!! The service was out of this world exceptional! My 4 year old daughter was treated with so much kindness and patience. She broke her glasses within 3 days of purchase and I was so worried and stressed but they made the whole ordeal very positive and replaced her glasses immediately. They went above and beyond my expectations making the process as easy and stress free as possible. We switched to SVS Vision last year when my son was in need of an emergency appointment. I love how easy it is to make an appointment online and change it if necessary. The reception staff, as well as the opticians, are always helpful and very efficient. Dr. Winkler is quick and thorough. Though there is no pressure to purchase glasses through them, at my son's most recent appointment he had a thorough exam, picked out glasses, and we were out the door in 30 minutes. All staff were great and helpful. Everyone wore masks and there were several areas throughout location to get hand sanitizer. The exam was quick, painless, and thorough. When it came to make a choice of lenses and frames the staff tried their best to find something that not only fit your face, but also fit within your budget according to what was allowed by your insurance. Susan was awesome, she helped me pick out frames the fit my face and looked good. She went over every thing with me. Letting me know what my insurance covered and all the different options and cost of each. She really knows what she is doing and does a phenomenal job. The Dr and the Associates are wonderful! They made my children and myself feel very comfortable. They communicated with all of us and made sure all of our questions were answered. My experience at SVS was very good. My wife both needed eye exams, i needed glasses badly and the wife needed safety glasses for work. Everyone working was very helpful from the exam to making sure the glasses we picked out looked and fitted correctly. The staff was helpful and friendly. The eye exam went well, and everything was explained to me. I needed to use up some FSA funds, so I bought 3 pairs of glasses. The lady who helped me was very enthusiastic as she helped me find the right shape and style for all three frames. read more
