I ordered a pair of glasses from LensCrafters online. Their customer service reps were very helpful and quick to answer the phone. Unfortunately, the pair has a minor blemish in the lens. I was instructed to return them to any LensCrafters for a refund. It was refreshingly easy. Contrast that experience with another online frame company out of China, SmartBuyGlasses. Their website allows one to choose many options including the exact size of the frame you purchase (51mm). When we got the frames from China 3 weeks later...! they were not the size that we ordered. They were 52mm. Their customer service dept made the excuse that sometimes the manufacturer changes the size of the frames without their knowledge. But, but you are all in China! And if this is the case, then you should notify the customer before shipping the glasses. On our dime, we sent the glasses back to them to an address they provided in MA on Nov. 28, 2023. To date, Jan 5, 2024, they have denied receiving them. And to date, despite having our return address on the package, the package has not come back to us. And SmartBuyGlasses is refusing to refund our money. We have filed a complaint with the USPS against this company. Their integrity must be scrutinized. If one is inclined to go online to buy glasses, I would strongly urge them to consider LensCrafters or any US based company and avoid doing online business with a Chinese company like SmartBuyGlasses. read more

If you like getting scammed and seen by a doctor that only cares about maximum profit come here!! I went in for a renewal of my contacts lenses and was told to try a different version. When I said I was unsure and liked what I was used to I was promised that this change could be reverted if I did not like it. When I came back I was told changing my prescription from 1-day to biweekly would cost me $80. Also, I was told by another optical professional that the daily's are more expensive (that's why this doctor wanted me to get them) and I should report them for deceptive activity). The first woman I had talked to initially was not very helpful was rushing me through my picking out the right friends. So I did get the wrong frames. Had to go back in re-order and the girls the second time around were also very sweet and helpful. My prescription though is still not quite right, but I am going to leave. Although they would not put my prescription lenses in a pair of glasses that I had brought with me with them saying that it would be too expensive although they owed me money back from the first frames. read more

Went to LensCrafters to get an exam and glass, the staff was soooooooo rude! The only one that was not rude was the dr! The lady I checked it with for my appointment was just super rude and was really snooty about me having my daughter with me! Everywhere I go everyone loves my daughter! She is sweet and funny and VERY WELL BEHAVED AND LISTENS VERY WELL! She wasn't running around or being crazy but she wanted to try on some glasses just for fun and they were super rude about that! I wanted to look at a certain brand of glasses and the guy who was helping me after my exam... he rushed through my quote emailed it to me and just wanted to be done with me! I tools him I wanted to look at a certain brand of glasses and he was more worried about my daughter touching and trying on glasses! He said make sure WHATEVER SHE TOUCHES GOES IN THESE CASES!!! He was definitely super rude about it and we put the four pies she tried on in the case for cleaning! After that he said the glasses you want to look at are over there and just took off! The glasses I wanted to look at were locked up... like thanks yeah I already looked at them through the case! In March I ordered sun glasses never got them because twice they had to send them back to the lab because they came in broken. I asked for a refund and was given a phone number to call their corporate office. I've called them 12 times to get my $394 back but for some reason they prefer to just keep my money. Winrock the optometrist portion of my visit was excellent but my experience with LensCrafters was awful. I was told a 3 week wait for glasses. Waited 3 weeks and no call so I called them. My order was cancelled and no one contacted me. They said you can reorder and wait another 3 weeks or be refunded. I was refunded but what a waste of time! Will not ever be buying glasses here but would continue to see Winrock. read more

The optometrist at this LensCrafters are amazing. I met with Dr. Jennifer Blaurock (spelling may be off...) and she is truly amazing. I've been through something like five types/power levels of contacts trying to find the right fit and she has been supportive and proactive every step of the way. (For the record, I've never had issues with contacts but this time around it's been a problem.) She has seen me multiple times and gladly welcomes me back each time. She asks questions and clearly is an advocate for my health/vision. read more

Let me first state that our insurance covers LensCrafters with additional discounts, which is why we go there. After 2 abysmal experiences at the cherry creek location, we knew either 1) we needed to go outside insurance network or 2) try a different location. This brings us to the Northfield location. Holy s$@t what a difference. Every employee in there was helpful. Get this, if you ask a question and they didn't know the answer, they find someone with the answer. A sad and novel concept with a lot of today's customer service. They were all expedient and great at explaining all the options available and the pricing of each. Crazy, right?! I sincerely hope the powers that be at this location appreciate these employees! So, don't waste your precious time with the cherry creek location and just go enjoy great customer service at the Northfield location. read more

It's actually put me off of LensCrafters in general. Fortunately, the professional (Dr Tillman) was great. The front house staff... Not so much. Thanks for sticking me with $600 glasses that will continue to break rather than swapping out for an alternate pair. Will be heading somewhere else on the next go round. I don't think the doctors are accurate, it took me a couple of trips to get my prescription right but they tried very hard for me to feel comfortable with the refraction and genuinely cared that I couldn't see right. I give them 5 because all of them are super friendly and helpful when choosing glasses. I also feel they try hard to please you. I think lens quality and the many frames to choose from are awesome. I remember the person who helped me out gave me good tips and honest opinions about what looked best. I also like the 35$ replacement deal. I have scratched my lenses and used it recently, no questions asked. I will choose lens crafters over any other place due to the convenience and quality. read more

I wish the rest of the Lenscrafters experience was as pleasant as the visits with Dr. Tillman. I've experienced everything from lack of communication to having an Associate train me in soft contact wear and removal, when I was actually prescribed given hard gas perms. Had an appointment last summer (2011) for a general exam and had a satisfactory experience. I was a bit put off, however this past summer (2012) when I started receiving notices about keeping an appointment they claimed I had made. Apparently they take the liberty of booking an appointment one year from the date of your initial exam, putting the onus on you to either show up or cancel it. Shady business practice, but not the real reason for the negative review. I stopped into this particular location today to retrieve my PD (pupillary distance) number as I'm attempting to order glasses from Warby Parker. I was informed by the associate that he was unable to give me that information, citing legal liability. If I'm not mistaken, this is part of my medical record and something that I have the rights to. I'm quite certaint that if I were to order glasses at Lens Crafters this would not be an issue. As a result, they've lost my future business and that of my husband and two kids as well. I absolutely love all the associates at this location! They are honest and very knowledgeable about picking out frames to fit my face and are always able to help me pick out frames and lenses to fit my budget. I also love the new doctor there, Dr. Blaurock. I will be writing a separate review for her business as the doctors in the store do not actually work for Lenscrafters. As someone who works in the medical field I felt the need to point out that the "appointments" scheduled a year in advance are reminders and not mandatory, in fact you have to call to confirm them if you actually want that spot. The girl at the desk did tell me her system would automatically schedule me for a tentative appointment for next year when I checked out. I've ordered glasses online before. Not every OD takes the measurement as it has nothing to do with eye health and if it is taken as part of your exam the store associates would not have access to your medical records since they are separate from the doctors office. read more

I had an eye exam on March 29, 2018. Bought a pair of glasses and scratched one of my sunglass lenses. The expiration date shown on the prescription shows 3-29-19. On May 3rd I went into the store to see if I could get the lens replaced but their computers were down until Monday so please come back then. On May 13th I asked for the lens to be replace but was told since the prescription expired they wouldn't honor my request. I spoke to the manager and asked why the 1 year expiration date. She said "for the health of your eyes". I told her that I was aware of a 2 year expiration from some optometrist's and she said that all Colorado Optometrist's have a one year expiration and when I questioned her she then said "some" do and that was this stores requirement. Sure sounds like a GREED thing. So basically they wouldn't replace a scratched lens after 45 days past expiration. It's not like it's been years since my exam. Very unhappy customer and will take my business elsewhere. I have purchased over $1000 of eyewear from that store and will never set foot in there again. read more

Crystal, Leo and the team at the LensCrafters- The Shops at Northfield Stapleton are always so friendly and helpful! I have bought my two previous pairs of glasses as well as all my son's glasses and my husband's there and have never been dissapointed. They treat every customer with the utmost courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. It doesn't matter if you're are 2 years old, 102 years old or in between. They don't care if you are yellow, purple, green or blue. They DO care about your needs and what you want. They well do what the can too name you happy within their abilities. They always say 7-10 business days but the longest we had to wait was 7. Today was no different. I went in wanting my first pair of prescription sunglasses. Crystal helped me find the perfect pair for my prescription. I expressed how excited was to get them because I've been getting headaches due to sun glare. She of course stated they couldn't guarantee the time, which I totally understand because they normally have to send mine off site. So I had a huge surprise when not 2 hours later she called and had my sunglasses ready!!! They happen to have lens in that worked for me! Thank you guys!!! Always recommending this store.
