I was impressed with the variety of budget frames as well as lots of good choices for frames of all prices, $20, $40, 60, 80, and going all the way to the designer frames at $200 + Good variety also on styles, colors, frame material, etc. I was allowed to take my time choosing frames. They have a BOGO deal, so I chose two. Check out their website to find coupons, deals. And to pre-shop for frames. You can virtually try on frames by opening your camera, and it will show you what you look like with those particular frames! With my face that was a bit scary. Once I chose my frames, one of the associates helped me order my lenses. Simple lenses are done in-house and can be done within an hour! Of course, since I'm vintage, I need progressives with no line, and progressive lenses take up to a week and a half. However, I received a message by text informing me they were ready for pickup in only 6 days. I also got a couple other add ons like the anti-glare, anti-scratch coating (the latter I believe should be standard and included from the start). I wound up paying probably a tad more than what I paid for my current one pair of glasses, but for the price I am getting two pairs. The service I received was professional and friendly. They adjusted the ear pieces for a perfect fit. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Paulina was awesome, she was patient and walked through what was best for my dad. She well explained how warranty work, I'm very pleased with our purchase. She gave us an estimated time of 4 hrs to have my dads eyeglasses ready, but only took 38 mins! Paulina, Thank you for the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your services always but during this pandemic you are essential! Thank you Eyemart Express. Oh and they also offer military discount which is a plus! I definitely highly recommend McAllen location at 506 Expressway...

It really should be a negative star review. To start, the…read morefront desk "office manager" is RUDE and dishonest. I had been having deteriorating vision issues from living in a toxic mold infested apartment, and the soonest I could be seen was with Dr. Scott and Associates, affiliated with Lenscrafters. That was a huge mistake. I made the appointment the day before, and when I arrived I was told it had been cancelled because I did not call to reconfirm, which they claim I was told when I made the appointment, the day before. Another red flag Desperate I accepted the next available appointment, and called to reconfirm, as I already learned the hard way. The Dr. was very pleasant, and seemed knowledgeable. He ordered a sample set for me to try, which arrived at the store within the week. When I was leaving the RUDE office manager, advised me there was a $79.00 contact lens fitting fee, which I've never been charged by my two other optometrists. I explained that it was not mentioned previously, nor on the Cigna website. So, she took the $79, without authorization, from my Cigna allotment. I called Cigna, and both the representative and supervisor, strongly agreed that I should not have been charged. When the samples came in they were so off, they worsened my vision. VERY RELUCTANTLY, the RUDE office manager scheduled a second opinion with a different doctor, who was also very pleasant and professional. She agreed that the first prescription was wrong, and ordered two samples for me to try. After calling the office for weeks, and being told they hadn't arrived, I called again, about three weeks later, and was told they were in. By then I had moved four hours away, and requested they send them to me, which they refused! Trust me, no matter how desperate you are, do not use Dr Scott or LensCrafters. On to my complaint with the Board of Optometry. The dishonesty I referred to was that they repeatedly insisted they called me, but there was no evidence on my call log from them, and of course by charging me the $79 fee twice, by taking it unauthorized from my allotment. I understand system issues occur but the only solution that was offered was to make another appointment for the following day. That would require me to take additional time off work for an appointment I had already set up. The staff member advised a curiosity call occurs the day prior to confirm appointment. Although the text message sent out says to only reply if you can't make it. So not replying isn't considered a confirmation as well?
