If you don't mind being lied to more than 3x , if you don't care if they don't notify you when your glasses come in , if you don't mind getting your eyes checked remotely through a TV Screen , there's more if you don't mind getting your prescription wrong ,if you don't mind getting a text 2 months later that you have a prescriptions waiting and when you go they have no idea who sent it even though your showing them the text. And if you don't mind finding out that what they advertise is really a hook & line scam since the low cost frames are horrible and the lens are single and thick well friend this is the place for you . If you don't mind having to go through what i went through then this is the place for you. Bonus is that you will always see 1 or 2 costumers arguing and getting mad at the staff for not keeping there word . You are better off going some where else. read more

I'm super disappointed with my experience . If you have insurance don't come here . They overcharge you. Charge you for the exam , polycarbonate lenses, and the frames . I went next door and got 2 pairs of glasses and the exam for 10 dollars for one child , and they charged me 150 for my other son at Eyelab . Contact lenses for my daughter were quoted to me as 100 there at Eyelab. Next door I didn't have a copay . It's the last time I give them my business . read more

Do not come here! You will not be seen by a doctor in person. He's on video chat! Then, they make you wait forever for everything. As I write this, I'm waiting to pick up my glasses. No idea on when I'll be seen. Woman who "greeted" me told me to sit down and they'd help when they could. I've worn glasses for more than 40 years. This is the worst service I've ever had. Overpriced! Beware! The $45 exam is free if you purchase glasses from them. I had some down time and my eye exam was way overdue. I was tempted by the new building and nice reception and the Free exam. I bought the glasses from them which I have no complaints about. But they charge twice the price and make it sound like there is no exam fee. My friend bought similar glasses with a designer frame in Los Angeles for half the price. Great place if you have extra money to spend. But next time I will go to costco or eye mart which is less than a block away. read more

If I could go lower, I would. They don't give you up front pricing, and they don't adhere to appointments. With appointments, we still waited an hour. Once we finally and I mean FINALLY got to the ordering section of the visit, low and behold, they didn't have the lenses! Adding insult to injury, the prices are very high! So today I went to my eye lab because my daughter broke my moms eye glasses and I called before going in I confirmed the payment of how much it will be they have huge windows outside that say 2 pairs of eye glasses for 59.99 and a free eye exam so I made an appt for 2:50 se went in 10 minutes before 2:50 they took over an hour to see my mother they gave her a tablet for her to check in and I had to get off to help her because she does not know how to read in English then as we waited to pick a pair of glasses I Asked the guy where does she pick from he said those two rows which were super cheap and I said ok so if we like something else we just pay the difference he said yes so I got another pair for 49 dollars ... so in the end the guy says it's 316 and I said what do mean then why does it say 59.99 ... over all the guy was super helpful I told him I would just take the prescription for her glasses elsewhere ... but it upsets me how some of the girls there behaved pretending to not speak Spanish and how a lack of transparency if they would of just been honest about the price I wouldn't have mind going elsewhere ... my mother does not work and 316 dollars is a lot of money especially right now with everything going. I am very disappointed with this company. They overbook appointments and the wait is up to an hour after a scheduled appointment. The customer service is terrible. The place was crowded with people waiting. My concern is with so many people in close proximity isn't that a violation with Covid concerns right now? Should there be over 50 people in that small place who could potentially be exposed? This was the 2nd time I rescheduled because of a 2 hour or more wait AFTER my scheduled appointment. I only went back in June ( I'm actually sitting in my car writing this review while I wait) because my contact prescription, which I did in March, was wrong and I wanted to see an actual human doctor! I was told a few minutes ago that it would be an hour wait! Service is horrible! Customer service is even worse! I do not recommend this place to anyone. I'm actually looking for another doctor. Yes, initially I was seen quickly and I did spend over $300, but now that I need to correct my prescription I'm getting the run around. Stay away if you value your money and time! Super cheap eyewear, received my glasses and not even 3 weeks later the frame broke. Went back for the warranty and they wanted to charge me $117 because they didn't have the same eye frame. Save your money and go somewhere else, not worth it read more

If I could give this location a negative stars I would. This was by far the most ridiculously incompetent bunch of individuals I have ever met. Started off with our 2:30pm appointment (for my husband and I)for contacts arrived a few arrived a few minutes early and when we arrived there was only 3 people waiting ahead of us. Around 4pm we finally get put into the rooms for our eye exams and only to find they somehow swapped our prescriptions so neigher one of us could see anything. After explaining to them how not a single letter could be seen they had to redial and we had to get a second eye exam done. Things seem to finally be over as they sent us up front to finally order our contacts. Then they let us know because we were put in the system incorrectly we would have to wait until they cleared everything up. At 5:30pm we are still waiting on our prescription, manager came to apologize for the inconvenience and let us know they would call us when the Dr finally released our prescription. At this point we were exhausted and furious. 1 month later still can't get our prescription. read more

I went in for an eye exam and for a new pair of glasses because I noticed the promotion they were having for a free eye exam and the second pair free. Overall, customer service was amazing! Geneva, the sales specialist was very clear and helpful on the pricing and also helping me choose them. General manager is also very helpful and the turnaround time is good! Terrible!!!! I made an appointment at 6:15 Pm for an contact lense eye exam in McAllen (called the store and they confirmed and also told me about a promotion they were having) i get there, tell the receptionist that i have an appointment here at 6:15 and he tells me that i am not in the list, the eye exam doctor is not there, there was no appointment set for me, and I ask about the promotion, turns out the man on the phone was lying because what this receptionist was saying was the promotion, was a lot more expensive and completely different. wasted my time to drive all the way over there to come out with nothing! never again. read more

Never coming back. Paid over $300 out of pocket for nothing but horrible customer service, frustration, and lies. It took MONTHS to get the right brand of contacts. The doctor in house is very rude. I was told I would be a free eye exam for glasses AND contacts with free trial pair contacts, it was $90 and you have to order the contacts for a trial pair. I wanted to exchange my contacts and was told I didn't have to pay extra, it was $20 extra, and in order to actually exchange them the dr. has to specifically put that brand on your prescription. I waited a MONTH just for the dr to WRITE ON A PEICE IF PAPER THE BRAND I WANTED. She even denied assisting me the first time I wanted to change my contacts. It took over a month to get my contacts and I had to go in to inquire about them. I wasn't even notified that they had arrived. And the young lady who was "helping" me really stood out as rude and unwilling to help. She shouldn't be working there if she's going to have a horrible attitude the whole time. She had her hand in her pockets the entire time she assisted me and had a horrible attitude. I regrettably cannot get my money back, but I know I will NEVER come back again.
