Called because I have my prescription and just wanted them to price some new glasses. I know the frames I want and the lenses. We live about 40 minutes away. The lady got annoyed with me and said "well it is going to be hard for me to help you over the phone, can't you come in?" For what? I know the frame, lenses, and have my prescription sitting in front of me. Sounds like she just didn't want to work or wanted me there to upsell me. Nope. My appointment today was absolutely terrible. The staff are very unprofessional & during my Telehealth exam one of the reps was vaping in the room. During my pre check my rep told me to put on my glasses while checking my right eye, because I won't be able to see the Telehealth Doctor if my score was bad. This is insane!! They falsified a medical exam to be more convenient for them. I am very worried about my eye sight, which is why I booked this appointment & now I have no answers & payed $140. I am so sad I wasted my time with this location. read more

I enjoy getting my eye exam completed at LensCrafters. The weekend hours work in my schedule. They are practicing social distancing and do temperature checks at the door. The customer service and attentiveness keeps me coming back. If you are in need of an eye exam this is the place for you. Accepts major insurance plans and ample parking on the lot is offered. Buyer beware at this store. The good: in general the staff are friendly, the eye exam equipment and process are excellent and the eye doctor was good. The not so good: The sales people do not know their products and if it is not on their tablet, it does not exist. Personnel don't know what Rayban G15 tint means. The ugly: if there is anything wrong with your order, you better be calm and happy or they will "fire" you as a customer. After being told I would need to pay more in advance after my order came in wrong and I refused until the product was right, they cancelled my entire order and fired me as a customer. They did not confirm the cancellation in any way and fearing further reprisal, asked my wife to stop by to get the refund receipt. Interesting news: Wisconsin vision down the street completed my order with G15 tint on my multi focal glasses in less than a week and $40 cheaper! read more

Second time here to inquire, just inquire about prescription sunglasses as Costa no longer handles it, they unfortunately have LensCrafters do the work. Walked out the first time, on a weekday after waiting an hour, only one person working, no clue where the other one went. Here on a Sunday afternoon and here we go again. An hour into waiting and I haven't even spoken to anyone who works here. Not even an acknowledgment that myself any two other are waiting. What a shit-show. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Oh wait, an hour in and some guy emerges from the void in the back but is unsure of what to do. Hold on!!! A third employee just walked in like a ghost appearing and walked right by me like I have the 12th variant of Covid. Wait, the guy just made eye contact with me, I think, and when I asked about the costa del mar prescription, he looked at me like I was speaking Klingon. WTF is going on around here? I had high hopes for this place after my eye exam. I ordered new glasses and was told they would be in 10 days to 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I was told they had been shipped. After a month of getting the run around I cancelled the order and went through an online company. Not only received my glasses in 2 weeks but they were $150 cheaper. read more

Just got off the phone to reschedule a follow up appointment for contact lenses. Because they couldn't fit me in during the holidays, which I didn't mind, the earliest would be early January. But they warned me because it would be later then 30 days since my first eye exam...which was double the price they quoted me, they would have to charge me $25 for the visit. While it isn't the money, it's the principle. I will elect to spend more money now starting the process over with a different company. Lenscrafters has nickel and dimed me for the last time. They are overpriced and lack in service. Stay far away from this store before you overpay and feel underserved! read more

I've been a customer here for over a decade. I've also brought my family in for exams and glasses. This past week I had a problem with an eye and wanted it checked out. I called and left a voice mail on Dr. Vance's machine 2 days in a row with no response. On the third day I bypassed her voice mail and talked with a front end associate. They booked me an appointment for the next day. I showed up on time and was given the paper work for a new patient. Then the tech. started a typical vision screen. I explained that I was seeking a doctor visit, not new glasses. She left to talk to the doc. ( I could hear the whole conversation) and came back saying we would have to do the extra $30 cost eye scan machine. I again said I just wanted the doc. to look at my eye. Again the tech went to take to the doctor. The tech came back and said that Dr. Vance said I should seek an Ophthalmologist. Never once did Dr. Vance see me or talk with me. No advice on how to find care for my eye problem. I was so crushed with this lack of care! I felt hurt and neglected. I left and went home to start a google search for an ophthalmologist. I did find excellent care at Froedert. Dr. Vance is fired and I will never ever walk into that store again. The young techs are really quite wonderful, its a shame the doctor is not willing to see a long time patient. read more

I am (well, now was) a customer of theirs. Had a contact lens exam and ordered contacts. When the contacts arrived via mail, they failed to indicate which prescription was for what eye. All other places I have gone over the many years I've been wearing contacts ALWAYS marks the boxes for the customer. So some time has passed since my appt and now I need to put in a new pair, but can't recall which belongs in which eye (and no, I don't have the paperwork). I call and after numerous holds - I'm told they can't give me the prescription over the phone. HUH?! I was told I need to come in, they can mail it (not even EMAIL) or they can fax it. First of all - I don't have a fax machine at my house (as most don't I'm sure). Second - I'm not driving 15 miles one way to walk in and have you tell me my prescription and then turn around and drive back home when you can tell me in 15 SECONDS over the damn phone. What a waste of gas and my time. The other option is to wait 5 days for them to SNAIL mail the numbers to me ...I NEED TO PUT THESE CONTACTS IN TODAY!!!! WTF. This will be the last time I do business here. And I will be sure to spread the word about your crappy customer service. read more

The only reason I continue to go to Lenscrafters is because I love the doctor that I have seen for about 15 years (since before he was at Lenscrafters). Lenscrafters mid? upper? management is sorely lacking. I scheduled with my doctor, then was told he wouldn't be in the office on the day I had an appointment, and I would have to reschedule. So I rescheduled with my favorite doctor. Fifteen minutes before my scheduled appointment (I was halfway to the office) I received a phone call from the store saying that my doctor "had a family emergency", and that no other doctor was at the store, so I would have to reschedule. Again. OK... family emergency... can't be controlled. I found out at my eventual appointment that there was NO FAMILY EMERGENCY. I was lied to by the store manager. My doctor was actually sent to a different store, and NO REPLACEMENT doctor was scheduled for him. The store had no doctor for my appointment. How can a scheduling screw up that significant happen, and more importantly, why was I lied to about it. I will no longer see my doctor at the Menomonee Falls store, and if he ever leaves Lenscrafters, so will I. My husband also had extremely poor customer service when he attempted to have manufacturer's warranty work done on glasses he bought from the Menomonee Falls store. From now on we only buy contacts and glasses at Costco, and see our doctor at a different store. And now....after replying to my Google Review and saying that they don't have my contact information to get in touch with me.... a letter arrives reminding that LensCrafters cares about my eyes. The letter states that my last visit was a year and a half ago. WHAT??? I just saw the doctor at your stupid Qdoba Center 7 WEEKS ago. What a joke of a company. read more

I had such a great experience at this location! I recently relocated from out of state, and lost my prescription sunglasses right after I moved. I went o Lenscrafters, and they were more than helpful. Since I just had an eye exam in March, they took care of trying to obtain my information from my previous eye doctor which proved to be challenging. Ace, who was great, was more than patient with the situation even though my previous eye doctor had every excuse in the book to not send over my records (and never did even after a written consent form from the patient and the doctor). The entire staff there went out of their way to try to do everything in their power to obtain my prescription so I could get new glasses; they even went to giving me a very basic eye exam for $25 since my previous doctor's office would not release my records because was 'too busy'. This Lenscrafters is a Win-Win place to get glasses. Great selection of higher-end glasses and awesome customer service! Would recommend to anyone! read more
