Excellent service from Beth!!!! I originally spoke to Beth about ordering contacts in the week of Thanksgiving. But as busy as people are I was not able to come in that week. On 12/15 I came in asking for her I'm hopes she remember my contact needs and what we spoke about over the phone and to my surprise she actually remember me. I mean wow it felt really good to be remembered even thou I had not been a customer yet. I came in Sunday to choose my frame for my new Rx. The service was kind of bad, every time we want to check one of the frames that are locked, we have ro wait a long amount of time before someone assists. I even saw 2 ladies, they were looking at each other to see who would want to help us unlock the frames. Anyway, we were able to pick a frame, and everything was set. The lady who helped us said, "we will send you a text, around 11am tmrw (Monday) to let you know when your glasses is ready for pick up ". Following day comes, I was in the area around 10am, So I called and ask to see if it's possible that it's ready. And the lady who answered was rude and told me that, they haven't sent me a txt because it's not ready. I said, ok. And she said we'll let you know later today. And i never got a text nor a phone call. Wednesday came, i was able to find some free time to call and follow up . Finally it's ready for pick up. I came, pick up. Fits good but something was off. So, I went to my car, try it on again. But the frame was just looking off as if its been used/old. I went back inside and then was a line. The lady told me to wait. So, I did. As soon as she was free, she asked how can she help. So, i address my concerns and she kept saying how my frame is new. I asked for the display, to compare but unfortunately it wasn't there. And every time theres a customer who comes in she walks away and had me wait over and over and she talks to me as if im dumb and was rushing because there were customers waiting. She said to come back in a few days if i don't like it and i cn always change it within 30 days. Since she was being rude. I decided to go to the Topanga branch at the mall. And LET ME TELL YOU. THEIR SERVICE IS VERY GOOD AND THE LOCATION HERE AT TAMPA AND NORDHOFF IS NOT UP TO PAR. They accommodated me fast and efficient and professional and o was able to pick a new frame. Now, i just have to wait 2 more weeks to get my new glasses. I have attached the pics i took from the frame i got in the FIRST place that looked old and used. I came to find out from topanga branch that there might be a Chance that the frame they gave me was the one on display hence why they don't have it on the shelf anymore. My wife introduced me to Lenscrafters on Tampa in Northridge and I'm sure glad that I went with her. My frames broke and I just wanted to get them fixed and/or get my current lenses put into new frames. I needed the exact same frames, due to the "Cut" of my lenses. We spoke with Kat and she was Amazing! Very Professional and helpful. Kat said that my hinge to the Arm of the Frames couldn't be repaired, due to the specificity of that outdated Spring/Hinge. She did research on my frames and said that they don't make them anymore and she went onto Amazon and found frames for $27, which I later ordered and got in a few days. I brought the new frames and my old ones back to Lenscrafters and Kat told me to see Carla, which I did and Carla is the Optician (Optical Tech) there and beyond amazing!! Super knowledgeable and experienced and very sweet. Carla switched out my Lenses in no time and even double checked my Rx on the Lensemeter. They never even charged me. I left extremely happy!! I love them! Both Kat and Carla are simply Thee Best! They made a life time customer out of me. read more

Please DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE. The optometrist was cocky and insisted my prescription cut in half from the last time (old prescription was from Costco) and when I got the new glasses in they literally made me sick instantly. I couldn't see at all. I even tried them for a few days to test them out. So terrible! I went back to my previous Doctor and they gave me a new prescription that was slightly higher and when those glasses came in I could see perfectly. NOT TO MENTION LensCrafters charges way to much for glasses! It's not even about having designer frame options. The frames I bought were decently priced but all of a sudden when they gave me to total at check out it was almost $800!?!? To be honest, I wouldn't mind paying this much for glasses....if they were perfect. Hell I'd take even mildly correct at this point. But nope. I paid almost $800 for glasses that I couldn't wear for more than ten min without getting physically ill. Did I mention they forgot to add the blue light filter to both pairs, and then lied about it? Yeah. Moral of the story is that LensCrafters rips people off and their docs suck. Best going literally anywhere else (I just want to add that the sales associates were really nice and very helpful. LensCrafters has killed their own business model. Firstly, the customer service in this branch is abysmal. The employees are remarkably dull, slow as molasses, and clearly aren't proficient in the job or in the computer system they use. An eye exam and buying glasses was a two hour ordeal, the longest time I've ever spent doing this yearly task. But why do I say they've killed their business model? Well, LensCrafters is very expensive. But people go and pay that premium because their glasses are ready in a matter of hours, thanks to the on-site lab. Now, they've decided to remove the lab from all locations, opting instead to send out the orders to a third party. Don't worry, you'll have your glasses in a week. Maybe. As I write this, I'm on day 8 of waiting for mine. So what are we paying for? Why pay LensCrafters money when Costco is down the street? There's no reason, especially when your in-store experience is akin to that of a McDonald's drive-thru. read more

I had an extremely unprofessional experience with Dr. Chris via the telephone. When he FINALLY called me back on Friday February 28, 2025 at 5:32 p.m ATTEMPTING to address my concerns as a patient with an order that was input in the system WRONG giving me contacts that aren't my correct RX.... I stated to him this was UNacceptable and he raised his voice at me, argued instead of addressing my issue BECAUSE of an error on LENSCRAFTERS AND HIM , and dismissed my concerns entirely! Going on to tell me about all the other patients that give him compliments. This is DISGRACEFUL, DISGUSTING, AND DISRESPECTFUL behavior especially from an eye doctor!!!! Rather than helping me, he aggressively told me to take a refund and that he was 'through with this'! I was shocked by how disrespectful and unprofessional his behavior was. As a patient, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, and this experience was unacceptable. I spoke with him very eloquently and he was very dismissive and swearing to me ! He stated that he DID NOT CARE what I did moving forward because it was Friday and had a long day! I told him I would be there to get my refund and to notate it on my charts !!! DO NOT GO HERE !!! I recently went to go visit lensecrafters and I received terrible service. My warranty is almost up and I went in to get my frames and lenses replaced. I went to go pick up my glasses, and I noticed there was grime on the insides of the frames. I took them back in and told the ladies these were used glasses. Now with corona going around I feel super unsafe knowing these are display frames and were handed to me finger prints and all. I spoke with Adriana today regarding my frames and she simply did not want to hear what I had to say. I have a video showing how dusty and dirty these lenses are. It's unsanitary how they gave me back the frames finer prints and all. I asked if I can have them ordered instead to me brand new. Later when I went in they had my frames just laying out on the counter top. At least have them in a box you know, but laying where germs can easily be spread. Sanitation should be taken serious especially right now. I recently went on yelp and this isn't the first time it's happen. Someone complained also about receiving used glasses. I paying warranty to get my glasses replaced only to get a used pair 2x? It's not ok to be treated as a paying customer that way. You ever get that feeling that the sales agent just does not want to help you almost like you're bothering them or getting in their way. That's honestly and unfortunately the experience that we had here. I don't remember the ladies name but we walked in the storm and were never greeted by anybody. Not even that hello or anything really. We perused the glasses section for my mother-in-law to get her a new pair. Nobody checked to see if we had any questions or anything. All the other sales agents were busy except for one lady which I know saw us and just didn't say anything and didn't walk up. She just stayed at the sales register. Doing whatever to be honest and even to the point where once we selected the glasses we want, we sat at one of the desks to wait for somebody to come greet us. Nobody walked up for at least 10 or 15 minutes until the one sales Lady eventually felt like. Oh well. I have to and walked up to assist us but she had a very combative nature and really took us out of the process and made us not feel welcome to the point that even though we were honestly ready to buy, she did not deserve the sale so we decided to not make the purchase and we brought this to the manager/supervisor. I believe his name was Chris and he apologized and said he was willing to take over the sale but at that point the experience was so tainted we just did not want to buy so we left because we're not going to beg somebody to take our sale. That's just not how that works. At this point I don't know if we would go to another LensCrafters just in general or buy from somewhere else. I don't buy glasses here because the prices are outrageous. I do however get my eye exams and I love the service I receive. My prescriptions are perfect and the doctors I have worked with have been super professional, nice and educated. Having had not so great prescriptions from other doctors in the past, it means a lot to me to have great prescriptions. Highly recommend. read more

First visit was great. The eye exam and the help choosing which type of lenses to get was fantastic. As I was getting them installed into the frames I already own I wanted to come in, drop them off, then come back in "about an hour" to pick them up. Went in at 9am and was told the tech is only there from 12-5 Monday through Friday. So, if you work a normal that's smack dab in the middle of the work day. Took time off from work that afternoon to come back at 3. Was told they were busy and that I had to come back tomorrow. Called today to make sure I could get it done if I took MORE time off work to bring them in. Was told the tech wasn't there today and that they're now only there from 12-4 Monday through Friday (except today for some reason). Technicians apparently work four measly hours per day during the week and not at all on the weekend. Asked if I could pick up the glass and bring it to a different Lenscrafters with more reasonable hours and was told "no we can't do that" even though I've already paid for it. TL,DR: go to a different one with better hours, unless you have nothing to do on a work day afternoon and you don't mind being without your glasses for god knows how long. read more

Great service received today from Jessica! I came in just for an eye exam. Ended up purchasing 3 pairs of glasses for myself. Prescription sunglasses, prescription regular glasses and prescription ray ban camera sunglasses. And also purchased glasses for my wife. Jessica was very nice and easy to work with. Never had a good service here. Very lousy service. Came in yesterday to get my lens reinstalled and nose pad adjusted. They reinstalled the lens but insisted the nose pads are fine. I did not want to argue. I was the only one there so it's not like they were busy. I'm in Beverly Blvd today getting it adjusted and the bent frame straightened. Frame was straightened in less than 10 minutes. I was planning to get new glasses in Tampa, but I'll get them from the Beverly Blvd where they give you very good service and advice. read more

Had an appointment 10/23 for a problem I am having with my right eye. The gentleman that helped me took my private insurance and notified me that I was covered 100% if I rescheduled for after 11/1. He mad an appointment for 11/4 at 10:20am, I came to appointment 5 min early and the receptionist in the front was not professional and told me that I had no appointment. Like why would I just walk in a week later with no appointment? Then I told the optometrist that I was having vision problems and he didn't even take 2 min to look at my chart and keep in mind the lady before me canceled her appointment because she was tired of waiting, even after that fact, they still couldn't take me in. I have had consistently good service from the staff and the products have been consistently high quality. The three star rating has to do with the level of cleanliness and wear and tear that the store has. I went in yesterday at about 5 pm and picked up today at noon. The carpet appears that it was not vacuumed, and it looks like it has never been deep cleaned. the mirrors at pick-up were covered in fingerprints as was the front door, and the bathroom is in serious need of an overhaul. My hope is that corporate will recognize the importance of attending to these details given the premium paid by customers, provide adequate janitorial support for the store. It makes a difference in the customer experience. Hopefully get will bring the condition of the store up to the high quality level of the staff's service. read more

After returning and paying additional for "laser cut lenses" they STILL don't fit in the frame. I was given nothing but bullshit excuses. If I pay 500 for a pair of glasses and my rx did NOT change, why can't you make my glasses right? The excuse of the size of the frame is nothing convincing. Then they tell me "we can't fix the lenses to fit flush" excuse me but I'm wearing a pair with THE SAME PRESCRIPTION and this paper doesn't have an issue. They refused to smooth the sharpe edges, and tried to sell me another pair. I was also told by Tatiana they are "no longer providing glasses on the spot, all will be sent out and take 2 weeks." My husband went to Costco got 2 RAY BAN with progressive lenses, transition, uv protection for LESS than what i paid for 1 pair and got them faster than I did! And his lenses fit in the frame. Frame size is same as mine. This is NOT right. I'll be contacting the corporate office. read more

This place is very thorough and helpful. Anytime I need an adjustment on my glasses they are happy to do so. The staff all have a nice attitude and are quite welcoming. The reason I gave four stars was because they forgot to call me when my glasses were ready and they adjusted them too tight on my head and I had to go back to get it fixed. read more

I used this Lenscrafters 4 years ago and had a fairly good experience, so I came back to get a new pair for the holidays. Wow, the store itself looked the same, but the staff has changed. I was shuffled quickly through for my eye exam. Then, as I was selecting my glasses, there was no help and the staff was completely apathetic. After selecting a few styles, their attitude only changed on making the sale. The worst part...this is Lenscrafters. Glasses are supposed to be quick. They said that they would call me and the call came 2 weeks later when I was swamped. So a quick trip to get glasses gave me a lesson that I might as well order it online from China for this kind of turnaround. The worst part was when I went in to pick up my glasses. I waited 30 minutes, the staff just handed me the glasses and did not help me adjust, review, or even exchange pleasantries. Part of my willingness to pay extra was that Lenscrafters always were willing to spruce up my old glasses, make a repair, or help adjust them when I had an accident. But no more. Next time I want fast quality glasses, I will not come here! If you want to pay a huge amount of money, be ignored, and offered no service, I guess you could come here. read more

Terrible customer service with absolutely no recognition or apology when I told the person he was not being helpful at all. His excuse was that he was going on his lunch break, and of course everyone needs a lunch break, but that is not an excuse for terrible customer service.
