I was skeptical when I walked in because the last glasses place I was at had a small selection and were very pushy. I was greeted with friendly staff who offered help right away but didn't pressure me. Greg helped me pick a frame and answered a million questions i had regarding insurance and lenses. So I read all the reviews and I was hesitant to make an appointment. I had a checkup here in 2011 for eyeglasses and because their price was much better than other places for the contact exam, I decided to use them again. After all, I had not been unhappy with my first experience. My experience this time was nothing less the EXCEPTIONAL. I was taken fairly close to my appointment time, went through all the pre-tests with the tech, and then met with Dr. Karen Barbarello. I was totally impressed with the updated equipment they had and the Doctor was very concerned and helpful. I explained in detail what I was experiencing with my sight and contacts and what I wanted to achieve. Dr. Barbartello was very attentive and for the first time in 4 years I was able to read using both eyes. I have been doing mono vision, right eye for close-up and left for distance, but since the Toric lenses were not 30 day continuous wear as was the right eye, I never bothered with the distant Toric at all. When I read anything, I had to close my left distance eye and read with only my right. Between Dr Barbartello and the new computerized lens correction equipment, I, for the first time in over 20 years can see crystal clear with both eyes open with 30 day continuous wear contacts and have no need to get lasik. Great service ! Very nice optician Adjusted my son 's glasses perfectly. We were just visiting the area. Glasses needed emergency adjustment which they performed on the spot in a couple minutes at no charge. I bought the glasses at a different LensCrafters. I came to LensCrafters after having a horrible experience with my eye exam at our local Big Box store. It required yet another eye exam, this time with Dr. Langsford, who was very thorough and quite nice. Nichole, the general manager, Sonia, the retail manager, and Brenda, eye care specialist all took excellent care of me ~ and I wasn't the easiest customer either! I brought my designer sunglasses in because they were sitting crooked on my face. Brenda was so nice to help me. She quickly adjusted and cleaned my shades and I was out the door in 10 minutes. I had an eye test at lens crafters, they made my glasses up and a week later I picked them up. Could not see anything clearly with the new glasses, I agreed to having another eye exam, spoke to the doctor and she didn't say why the lenses were not right, she didn't really know what to say or do, so they made up another pair. Yet, another trip to the office, and still no better. I had heard that they were bad, but i DIDN'T REALIZE, that they were this bad. I got my full money back. What a waste of my time. read more

I had a bad experience with Lenscrafters in April of 2012 - see my post below. However, after my experience I contacted Lenscrafter's Customer Service and within 24 hours the manager at the store called me back and invited me back to the store and offered to refund the fee in question. I have been a customer of Lenscrafters for years and was saddened by my experience. Miguel, the Manager, and Amber were terrific in helping me pick out new glasses. They know their inventory and have good taste for choosing a frame that fits your face. When my Dr.'s new prescription for my lenses was delayed in getting to LensCrafters, Miguel went above and beyond to work out a solution. I needed the new glasses for an upcoming trip, so time was of the essence. Miguel thought "outside the box" and graciously assisted in getting the prescription and submitting my Order quickly. Worst customer service ever - and not just the front desk staff! Dr. Satty clearly has all of the customers he wants, because he was so rude to a new customer today that I will never be returning. Such rudeness and unprofessional behavior from a Dr. and his staff should not be accepted by LensCrafters - but as they choose to support him I won't be buying my glasses here either. Just terrible. I had a pair of Burberry sunglasses I brought in that needed to be straightened out after being sat on. Miguel was super helpful and in the process of fixing them he accidentally broke off one of the nose pieces. Without hesitation he apologized and said he would take care of a pair of glasses in the store around the same price range. In the end, I didn't have my glasses I really liked but Miguel handled the situation incredibly professional and I thank him for that. read more

I don't usually write reviews for buying glasses - but felt the need to, because of the superior service offered by the manager at this Lenscrafters location. Douglas went above and beyond to accommodate what I was looking for - getting me exactly what I wanted (when I thought it was impossible) for a great deal. He also goes beyond in making adjustments for his clients, even if it means staying late at work after he was supposed to already be off. He's definitely looking to make customers as happy as possible; he deserves a raise! read more

Do not call this a "1 HOUR service " place!!! Initially made glasses from a WRONG prescription "on file". Only after having obtained a NEW copy of the old prescrition from the eye doctor, did they "discover" that they had the old, proper prescription on file after all. The doctor is very helpful and pleasant, and so are most of the employees there except Justin. I had two disappointing encounters with him. The first time was when I went to pick up my Burberry glasses, I asked him for a new cloth since it should be included in the case but it was not. He didn't bother to look around, instead he pulled out an Oakley Microbag from a plastic box and gave it to me. I didn't know they had the new cloths ready for customers until I went to pick up my other pair of glasses. The other employee had no problems giving me a brand new unused Burberry cloth. The second time was when I went back for my appointment with the doctor for prescription adjustment. I arrived on time, he saw me and told me he would let the doctor know I was there. I waited for 40 minutes, and finally I had to ask the other employee for assistance - it turned out, he had never checked me in. read more

Gee thanks for the help, NOT!!! Long story short this place sucks!! Not a patient here, nor do I live in the area. Ok I made a mistake and forgot to take my contacts out and went surfing. Whoops. Well when I was done I went to take my contacts out and I could only get one out. I was having trouble with the other and irritating my eye. So I was getting a little worried because I didn't know what the issue was. Anyway I thought I could run in and have somebody here take a look at my eye and tell me if my contact was in or out and I lost it in the water or something. I was having trouble telling because my eye was so irritated. Anyhow the girls working were very nice but wouldn't do anything without the doctor. The doctor wouldn't do shit without an appointment. I mean I understand business is business but 2 mins to help someone out that would have been something simple for the doctor should be no problem. I know my optometrist back home would have done it for sure. Just take a look and tell me I'm not going crazy. So thanks for not helping me out bruh. This 1 star review would have been a 5 star if you would have put your greed aside and just helped out a human being. Don't go here people. read more

I have been getting eye exams for contacts here on and off for about 15 years. It never fails that I will swear this place off, go somewhere else for a year or two, only to end up going back. I wasn't going to publish my review but after reading the other reviews I actually feel better. I feel better that I too had a bad experience. Happy that others were treated poorly by the snotty and yes, condescending employees. The employees that are awesome if you want to buy glasses, I dropped $2500 there just last year. So I guess that is what it is, they are all about the glasses. So why do they do contact lens exams? Mine was awful by a bully who lied to me about the contacts I wanted to continue wearing. She said they weren't making them anymore. Could be true but Costco has enough for me to at least wear them for another year. She fitted me in a healthier lens which I was hesitant about. I ended up liking the lens only to find out that they are 3 times more than my old lenses and the manufacturer insists on no discounts, they must be sold everywhere for the same price. Hmmm...I just read an article on how Costco was bullied by them too and they said no we won't charge our customers that much so that is why they don't carry them. Turns out Lenscrafters is selling the pricey lens she pushed me towards for more than the manufacturer's set rip off price. All the sites online are apologizing for selling them for so much and Lenscrafters is selling them for MORE. Unreal. I do feel responsible for not finding more out about this new, healthier and price fixed lens. So now I am just trying to get my script to include the lens I want and can afford right now. Easy, right? No, No not easy. I have been given the run around about my script for the past three days. They are too busy selling glasses to stop and just resolve this simple issue for a paid customer. They don't answer the phone, so I popped in. I live pretty far so they said they would email the resolved script but they were just too busy to do it, this was two days ago. No email script. I called today to get a nice I will call you back in ten minutes because she couldn't find my chart. I agreed and thought that nice of her. Four hours later I call back with same request. This time I get a snotty girl who tells me she just doesn't have time for me and she will take care of it before she leaves. I of course am holding her to it, what a sucker I am. So much drama just to get my prescription with the lens I wanted all along. It is not worth the convenience. Take the time to wait for proper exam elsewhere. No more for me. This place is in need of grown up management to teach common courtesy and customer service to the rude associates running the place. read more
