The glasses were in excellent condition when I arrived, and a staff member even commented on how well they had been cared for. During the adjustment, the store manager used pliers on the nose piece, and it broke off while in his hands. I was then told the nose piece is soldered to the frame, that it could not be repaired, and that I was essentially out of luck. No warning was given beforehand about any risk of breakage. And, no liability waiver was presented. No offer of assistance was provided. After contacting ownership, the only resolution offered was to replace the front piece at half price ($130). Since the damage occurred during an in-store adjustment, I expected the business to stand behind its work and replace the frame. I understand that accidents happen, but how a business responds matters. I was disappointed that full responsibility was not taken for damage that occurred while the glasses were in their care. This is a local shop with very high prices, they should provide better customer service!

Last year she caught an omission in my prescription (from university) as there were not prisms noted on the prescription. She made me aware of it, I got a new Rx and then proceeded to have the glasses made correctly. That saved me a lot of money, as I did not have to have the lenses made twice. She is always so cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. I just ordered another set of lenses put into frames and the whole process was smooth as silk. Hope to work with her again.

Second time I've ordered glasses from them. And I'm happy to be back. Their prices are competitive with a nice discount on a second pair. Only issue is that they don't take insurance which seems to be the way almost every optical shop works now. I like this family so much that I don't care if I have to submit the charges directly to my insurance.
