I tried to adjust my glasses on my own. I chose a pair that I knew would be to big for my face, but the look, style, and fact that they are too big for my face has sentimental value to me, so these are a very special pair of frames. Long story short, I removed 1 of the arms and proceeded to bend them so they would fit tighter. Unfortunately after doing so I wasn't able to reattach the arm! I thought the situation was hopeless! So off to lenscrafters I went! I even picked out two pairs of backup frames because I was so sure they weren't fixable. Then I met Lauro! This man blew my mind! He fixed my glasses and they actually fit better now! I swear he was a magician! I could not believe it! The reason these glasses are so important to me is because they are an exact replica of my Mom's glasses, who Unfortunately passed in 2000. My Dad searched everywhere for her frames but couldn't find them. So I went on the hunt for a pair like them. I went to lenscrafters and low and behold, there they were! They are actually sunglasses and they were not prescription compatible. The sales person took them back to Lauro and he said it was doable! I was so happy! So you can see why I was so devastated when I broke them! Lauro is a God send! If you purchased your glasses from lenscrafters and you break them, the situation is not hopeless! Just make the drive out to the downers grove Il location and ask for Lauro to take a look at them! This man has magic hands and it's well worth the drive even if you aren't near by! I broke my glasses and of course need them fixed asap. So I went to Walmart and this kid says that Walmart doesn't allow them to sell just the frames anymore. She told me about Lenscrafters about 2 minutes away. So my grandson and I went over there and when we walked into LensCrafters the store manager Joseph Tapia asked me what I needed. I showed him my glasses and told him I just need a new frame. He walked over to the wall of frames, showed me a pair, I said yes to them and he popped my lenses out if my old frames and popped in them into my new frames first try! I was so impressed, last time I needed new frames for my glasses it took forever for someone to figure out the right combo. He did it first try. These people know their glasses and I would recommend them to anyone. When he brought out my glasses case he had a little present for my grandson and had him pick out a sucker. He made my grandsons day. I have an appointment to go back to get my eyes fully checked out again. I've always gone to a LensCrafters store and never had any issues, in fact the store personnel have always been courteous and helpful. This year I decided to order prescription glasses online, worst experience ever! Firstly, my order took close to 2 months to ship. When I called after 3 weeks I was told the reason it was taking too long was because the lenses were not in stock but no one had the courtesy to advise me of that, I asked to cancel, one rep refused to cancel my order and told me that I have to wait to receive the order then return it, remind you, the order was never even shipped yet. I called again and spoke to someone else who said they will happy to cancel it BUT never did, 2 weeks later I received a notification that my order was shipped. Now I have to request a return label and ship it back, it's now 2 weeks and still my return is not processed. Worst customer service, worst return process! Never again will I ever order online from this company. Stay away from LensCrafters.com! read more

To my pleasant surprise the local LensCrafters store was open on the Fourth of July. I already had my prescription and had shopped other outlets looking for two new pairs of glasses (post cataract surgery) but discovered the selections very limited and the prices extremely high, even with so-called health plan discounts. Lina and Joseph were a delight to work with. They were both professional, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They actually made the process enjoyable and with my AAA discount the final cost was far less than any previous option. When/if I need glasses again I'll be heading back to the Surprise LensCrafters. read more

My sister was visiting from out of state, and on a Sunday morning she was complaining about a lot of pain in her eye. I called my Eye Dr. and they recommended to call Lens Crafters near me to see if they could help her. I called Lens Crafters in Surprise and spoke with Joseph who was the manager. He was very helpful and said to bring her in and she could see Dr. Singh who was on call that day. Everyone there, Joseph, Dr. Singh and Alex who worked at the desk were so great to work with. I broke my glasses over Memorial Day weekend, I had a spare but not the current prescription. The store manager assisted me. My glasses were restored and repaired in a timely manner. I received courteous and professional help and I was not charged for any of the work done which required restring of the frame, placement of a lens and general cleaning and replacement of nose guards. I highly recommend this store and plan to use them as I have for previous glasses again. read more

they were nice and helpful. The quality of glasses all depend on budget and I think it was fair to buy two pair of glasses while the second one was half price. The only thing I hate to mention is that the case they have it to me was the worst one. I am even embarrassed to throw it in garbage so the neighbor won't see it. My glass frame broke in half. So I went in to see if they could be glued back together. Unfortunately they couldn't. But Joseph Tapia said he would try to find me a frame. That could fit my old lenses. He was successful. And I was able to purchase the new fame. I think Joseph went out of his was to make a customer extremely happy for the customer service received. I had a wonderful experience at Lenscrafters in Surprise on 9/10/22. Sonia greeted me when I entered and immediately saw my issue as one lens had fallen out of the frame. I dropped my glasses and stepped on them by mistake, so the next day i called some eye glasses stores on a sunday, and the only one i could get ahold of was lens crafters. So i went down to lens crafters and they put my glasses back together for free. Thanks lens crafters! I will be getting my next glasses at lens crafters. read more

Be careful! Dr Le told me my insurance no longer covers vision & I paid $70 for an eye exam. Upon returning home I checked & that was not true. Actually, LensCrafters no longer accepts Medicare! But him telling me my insurance doesn't cover vision any longer got him $70 from my pocket. read more
