Staff and Management at this location is top notch! I visited on Friday, August 30th and was initially taken care of by an associate who was pleasant and professional. She happened to be the store manager and noted that my insurance would be accepted at another eye lens business (their competitors). She gave me price options and mentioned it would be worth my while to go and check them out for any frames I may be interested in and if they did not meet my needs - she would be more than happy to continue assisting me. I visited the competitor at boy oh boy was my experience like "night and day" in comparison to service, care and even the quality of choices in which I received at Lens Crafters. The workers at the competitors were trash talking a previous customer. Standing together in a huddle and not helping anyone in the store. Neither even came over to me to offer assistance except yelling across the room if I was needed frames or lenses or a full eye exam. NOT Professional BTW. I decided to return to the Lens Crafters off Northern and made a complete purchase with the manager. I received a same day eye-check, picked out my beautiful frame choice and was promised lenses within a weeks time. My glasses arrived quickly and I couldn't be more happier. Worst experience at a LensCrafters. I was trying to find a replacement frame for my Ray Ban Metas. Luxottica gave me a voucher for a free replacement. I did not call the store first instead I checked online and called another two stores to try to confirm stock availability since the park west location was still closed at the time of doing my research. The other two stores that were super helpful and guided me to the park west one showing my glassses I wanted in stock. The stores I called did not have my exact pair in stock. They did do the extra work and found searching their internal inventory that they had some available at this store I did double check this online as well and online it stated they were available as well. So to triple check and make sure I don't do the 30 minute drive for nothing. I called the store to confirm availability where I spoke with a lady and she seemed completely lost on the process in which I was trying to explain to her about my credit, even though the representatives at the other two stores had no issue understanding me. After we got past that hurdle which we didn't really pass, I just rerouted the conversation to see if stock was available for the exact glasses I needed. She still did not give me direct answer and she said let me talk to my manager. She spoke to her manager, her manager said come on in and I said what does that mean? Does that mean you have the glasses? I'm interested available yes we have them in stock. I said perfect. I will see you guys later then and then I also stated do you know how long the process will take and she said she does not know and I said OK what does that mean? Does that mean five minutes? 30 minutes a hour? And she said I don't know and then there was awkward silence and I hung up. Avoid the store if possible this was my first experience with LensCrafters in person and it was completely terrible. My first experience over the phone was with a rep from surprise and that's what saved it as well as a rep in the Phoenix location by Desert sky Mall both of those stores know the true meaning of customer service.. read more

Feeling really frustrated with this location. I would avoid if possible. I went out of convenience. It's been 15 days since my exam and I still have not received my contact lens trials because they waited 9 days to order them! I have my bridal shower and wedding coming up soon and now I'm worried I won't be able to see on those days because I don't want to wear glasses to those events haha. I got my exam done with enough time and enough contacts left where there shouldn't be any urgency but now at this rate I'm stressing I won't have contacts in time, considering I'm waiting on TRIALS and will still have to order contacts after that. Dropped off my glasses three weeks prior at Lenscrafters (7650 W Bell Rd, Glendale, AZ 85308) and had an eye exam at that time. Lenscrafters did not call or leave a message on my phone after three weeks wait to find out they had the lenses some time prior week. They stated that they tried to call me. I went into their store at 9:15 am on a Monday to have the new lenses placed into my existing frames. They told me I could come back in 45 minutes and the glasses would be ready for me to pick up. I went to pick them up but both girls were waiting on other customers and the one told me that they were booked up and I would have to wait. I stated that my glasses were just across the counter and I needed no other help just please hand them to me as they were already paid for. The employee then accused me of yelling at them (which I did not) and the other employee then reached over and handed them to me and I left. Should I have to wait on two old ladies to finish picking out their frames just for them to hand me my glasses? Very poor customer service! read more

The entire staff is warm, friendly and most of all masters of their craft. They bring service with a smile to a professional level worthy of an Olympic gold medal. This was my first time visiting LensCrafters and won't be my last! I've never had an eye exam that I wanted to write a review about. The eye exam itself is standard for contacts/glasses, but what made my short visit here memorable was the customer service. Everyone (literally, everyone) was SO nice. I forgot to bring my previous prescription with me & the man at the front desk offered to measure the prescription of my glasses. I was coming in with old contacts in my eyes & left with two pairs of trial contacts to hold me over until my contacts arrive. Also, I got a mini bottle of contact solution & lens case to take home! I have never experienced the incompetence I met at the Park West Lenscrafters in summer thru fall of 2022 in getting my glasses made. After my cataract surgery, I still needed glasses for reading. I am on my cell phone all day reading Apple News, etc. They tried twice to make me glasses with progressive lenses AND THEY STILL WERENT RIGHT. They even have a certified optician, but still couldnt get them right. Everyone was very pleasant, but it is more important to get the glasses right. I wasted a lot of time going back in there, thinking they would get them right. Nope, this place is part of the growing list of places willing to waste your time to keep their shop open. Today I had an appointment scheduled for 1:30 pm, I called in on my way there to inform them that I would be about 6 minutes late. I spoke with Nick Smith who said that they only had a 5 minute grace period and that the doctor wouldn't have time because of lunch hour. So I asked to please fit me in as I took the time and was already almost there he refused and was rude saying I couldn't speak with a manager because he is an assistant manager and blah blah blah. So I called back and this time I spoke with a lady, I told her my situation and she said we actually have a 10 min grace period and I said, great! ( literally almost cried) because I took time for this today and Nick Smith trash employee, assistant trash manager, trash person for employee guy or whatever he is, LITERALLY a SCUMBAG who probably has issues, I'm sure he does by the way he responded on the call, anyways, made me miss my appointment and thought it was a joke. I my self work, go to school, and I am a mom so I don't have time to come back the same day later on or just another day because that's all the two non valued employees I spoke with had to offer out of an issue that slipped from there hands... Visiting my mom in AZ and extremely glad I came to this location. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive. I spent more time with Veronica than the rest of the staff. She was EXTREMELY patient with me. I took a lot longer than expected and despite that, she remained very patient and very cheerful for my little milestones. The rest of the visit I was asking her multiple questions and not once did her attitude change. The doctor and the rest of the staff was very helpful as well and open to all sorts of questions. Overall a great experience. I scheduled a eye test and finally had to break down and get glasses. I interacted with about 4 different people during my time there and everyone was helpful. From the actual MD to the sales representative, they were very attentive. Lenscrafters is out of network for most insurances, but they still worked with me and offered me a discount. They have a great selection of quality frames which I liked. Most places just have the same old bland frames. I was very happy with my experience. read more

Not happy with the overall service. 1 called after a few days to tell I wasn't seeing better they to me to give it a few weeks. One problem only had one weeks worth. 2 .Took what I thought was a prescription in to another optical place to get a refill and give it another go. They told me it wasn't a prescription and I need to go back to get a real prescription. Felt like they just want to make some money meets some get folks in the door. The entire experience at this store was professional and efficient. For the eye exam, Jacqueline did the prework with the various machines and Dr. Camille Singh performed the actual eye exam. Dr. Singh was very thorough and informative. So happy to found a doctor that I can stick with long term. Easily the best experience I have had when purchasing glasses. I went in for an eye exam and to finally replace my old pair of glasses. Great service from a friendly and professional staff every step of the way-- from the initial exam all the way to the final fitting. They weren't particularly busy while I was there, yet I felt no sales pressure to get more expensive frames, better lenses, etc. Great group of folks. I haven't been to LensCrafters since 2011 so I didn't know that there were changes made through my insurance so I was bummed out when I found out that my insurance doesn't cover eyeglasses anymore. The lady who helped me was nice, but at first I feel like she was in a hurry to look at my prescription while I was still looking around and trying on some eyeglasses, she was talking really fast and asked me twice for my prescription. We came here today. I do not wear glasses. My husband and daughter wear glasses. My husband got an eye exam today and new glasses. The eye dr was so congenial and knowledgable. He was awesome. Then when we went to look at glasses the guy that helped us pick out a new pair for my husband. The first pair he picked was the best choice and the choice we made. Then we had Monica helping us. Man, ask for her to help you out. She is so sweet. So knowledgeable. This was the best eye glass experience we have had. I hope all my friends and family and anyone I know come here for their eye experience! My husband said that was the most thorough eye exam he's had. She answered all my questions and passion...the reason I bring down stars is because of their sales tactics. I felt like I was dealing with a car salesman. This was my first time getting glasses so I wasn't so educated on them and options. Most of the choices Monica provided were the high end $300+ glasses. She was very nice and kind throughout the process. But when I finally made my choice I felt a little pressured with the sales. She didn't show me all the lens options only high end options. I thought it was a little high so I decided to think about it. Her response "you sure? They are the only frames on this model and might be sold after you leave and we can't guarantee we will have them in stock ever again." That just made want to leave store even more. Fast forward 3 days. I went to other stores target, nationwide, etc. and got more educated on the frames and lenses. At the end I still liked LensCrafters glasses so I went back to them but location in metro center. Never pressured with them and I decided to buy the glasses there. They do the lenses in one hour instead of waiting two weeks as the Northern location as they don't have a lab. I was happy with the price as I didn't need all these high end options. If only I would have gotten more options at Northern/Park West I would not had to waste time. P.S skip this location and go to the one in metro center. read more

I use reviews, but I generally don't post them. I'm posting this because the people at this location stand out. They are extremely friendly and more importantly honest and candid. I have been here on 3 separate occasions and most recently worked with Carol, Jen, and Dr Le. Dr Le was awesome...very friendly and personable. In addition to the service, he was also very knowledgeable...something pretty important when you're talking about my vision. I get it, sales...they are going to be nice, but there's a difference between fake and real nice. In addition to the service, the equipment made things a breeze. I won't lie, this is not going to be light on the pocketbook...but again, we're talking your vision, do you really want to be cheap? read more
