Avocado Sandwich

I live 1 block away and come here almost 2-3 times a week for a sandwich for lunch. I place the order online and it's done within 5 minutes!! So fast. They have never made a mistake on my order. Sandwiches are great and food is consistent. 10/10. Reasonable pricing too! Not sure what's up with the negative reviews.

Got a chicken Caesar wrap. Very good! $13.99 for a regular size. Multiple tortilla options and several types of sandwiches. Good chip flavours too.

I've got a $20 gift card from my daughter. She regifted it to me! 04/21/22

My daughter gave me a $20 gift card for Lenny's. Today I returned to this location to check to see the balance. My daughter was holding on to it since 2019 before the pandemic! Every employee I came in contact with was so nice. It was a really good experience today. The place is clean and the muffins are reasonably priced. I'll be back to use the balance on my gift card. Today I had a Grilled Cheese on Rye with Bacon. It was a little over $10 for my brunch. I sat at a comfortable table. Afterwards I used the restroom and it was very clean. Plus it's paper free. I'm raising my stars to Four. I had a really pleasant experience. I'm recommending!

okay. nothing too great, italian sandwich was quite soggy. had it on gluten free bread, always appreciate having a gf option available but it wasn't too good. alright not bad!

Chicken Caesar Wrap

We ordered two chicken Caesar wraps. They were good and satisfied the craving. They had a lot of dressing which I liked for the flavor but can make it soggy. I got it without croutons which I wouldn't recommend.

After our visit, I was left lamenting "why did we wait so long to come here?". We came in early on a Monday, before 6:00 and the place already had several tables full. We received a warm Turkish welcome and quickly settled in with menus. Our quick bit turned into mixed appetizer (hummus, babaghanoush, muhmmara, haydari and pink sultan), followed by sigara borek and lamacun. Everything was so good that we overate! I was full after the mezzes but the lamacun was so good...among the best we've had in the NYC area. Service was great too. Just a nice vibe with the friendly owners stopping by each table and saying hello. It was clear there were many regulars eating here and we anticipate more visits ourselves. They have some nice images of Istanbul on the wall and we were just in Turkey a few weeks ago so it felt like we were back there! This place is really a gem and I highly recommend it. Just make sure you bring your appetite because you will fill up when you eat here!

While walking over I realized I'd never been down this street before and started to question if I was going the right way. Then I noticed delivery bikes pulling up so I knew I'd was close by. Inside it was pretty quiet as the staff were busy preparing online orders. I was the only person in the restaurant. As I looked up at the menu, the manager directed me to the paper sheets they have and instructed that I should make my selections on one of them. I went for the create your own option which gave me 2 proteins. I chose salmon and yellowtail, with white rice, wasabi yuzu sauce, and various toppings. When I took my menu to the register, the manager suggested I try either their crab or seaweed salad as they're both popular options. I went for the crab salad. The total for my order was about $14, a welcome difference from a newer poke spot that charges the same for less than half of what I got in my bowl. I was very satisfied with the flavor and freshness of the fish. The rice was well prepared and I did indeed like the crab salad. I can easily see myself adding Poke Burrito to my rotation of lunch locations.

Happy to say I finally had the opportunity to return for an intimate birthday celebration and everything was just how I remembered it. Cute and quaint, with good service and food, a great vibe! Without a doubt I absolutely ordered the roasted corn salad. It has tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Romain lettuce, and an amazing dressing. I added the pan seared chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and extremely tender, not overdone. The salad was magical just as I remembered it. In addition the guac was fresh and the Hibiscus Margs was a tasty way to wash it all down. It's amazing how I dream about this salad. It's a good thing I don't live close because I would have no problem factoring in this salad which is a little pricey into an almost daily budget. Lol. Needless to say I will not be reminiscing about this salad for two years again. I will be back sooner than you think. A special thanks to our server, whom was a one man show the whole night. Just A Note: Parking can be a bit of a challenge and Carla's is tiny but mighty and absolutely worth it!!

We got a few things and felt like they were mostly just ok. Not bad! But not the best we have ever had. The French toast was covered with a healthy amount of whipped cream. Me and my girl was looking for a coffee shop that was laptop friendly and closed late since we came after work. I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve any alcoholic beverages as I saw a lot of good reviews on that portion. We came, we sat down on a Saturday night. There was only one person at the front and it seemed she was also managing the serving part so it did get pretty hectic at some point. We decided to order the Budae Jigae (Hot Pot), there is no way to alter the spicy level so for those who love spicy spicy, this is for you. Me and my friend was really disturbed by the fact that we were treated some type of way. Maybe it's because we weren't Korean or? Service was slow asf. It took a really long time for them to serve me my iced strawberry matcha drink. And even longer for the food. It was also hard to tag her down, and she seemed pretty annoyed that we had to ask her for multiple items. We were a party of 2 and she only gave us one set of items. I went again by myself the next day to see if it was better service and it was pretty packed. There was actually 3-4 people at the front but even then it was so hard to get someone to take my order, ask for napkins, for the check, etc. While there was no time limit on Saturday, there was a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes on Sunday. would I go again? Maybe, but it's def veering towards the no side.
