I am a big fan of Lenwich. I have two wraps that I rotate between ordering, and they are so good, I find myself day dreaming about these sandwiches. My #1 fav is: WW Wrap, Chicken Cutlet, Avocado, Roasted Red Pepper, Mixed Greens, Spicy Mayo, and Crispy Bacon. My #2 is the Picante Chicken Caesar Wrap. It's made with fresh jalapeños, diced up, and mixed in with the salad. It has a wonderful pop of heat, that is extra pleasing when accompanied with a bag of Salt & Vinegar chips, preferably the Ms. Vicky ones. I typically order from my phone, and am always pleasantly surprised that it's ready whenever I get there to pick it up. I love lenwich. I just don't go that often because they have the most inconvenient operating hours. I came here on a Saturday and it was very spacious with lots of room to sit and eat. They have a very clean restroom. We got a steak sandwich with chimichurri sauce and the turkey, cranberry, brie sandwich that was also really good. Every year I get so excited to eat the thanksgiving sandwich. I love thanksgiving leftovers and I love making them into a sandwich. If I have the chance to have the day after thanksgiving sandwich without the work or travel required of course I am going to try it. One Star -- Disappointed and Frustrated I ordered a salad wrap from Lenwich and what I got was literally just a salad dumped into foil -- no wrap at all. I didn't realize it until I got back to work, which is a 15-minute walk, and opened it up only for half of it to fall out onto the floor. Completely unacceptable. If Lenwich doesn't offer lettuce wraps or a proper wrap option, they should make that clear on the menu. I would've just ordered a regular salad if I knew. Instead, I'm left trying to salvage the other half and scarf it down before my lunch break ends. My daughter gave me a $20 gift card for Lenny's. Today I returned to this location to check to see the balance. My daughter was holding on to it since 2019 before the pandemic! Every employee I came in contact with was so nice. It was a really good experience today. The place is clean and the muffins are reasonably priced. I'll be back to use the balance on my gift card. Today I had a Grilled Cheese on Rye with Bacon. It was a little over $10 for my brunch. I sat at a comfortable table. Afterwards I used the restroom and it was very clean. Plus it's paper free. This was my first time stepping into a Lenwich shop out of all the years I've lived in NYC. Definitely did not feel like I missed out that much as to me, it's just another chain sandwich shop. I got their signature Lenwich sandwich, which was pretty stuffed with toppings. For $11, I would expected the sandwich to be fat anyways. They took about 5 minutes to make the sandwich so it's fairly fast. They have a nice seating area for paying customers, which is a plus if you're a paying customer. I have been going to Lenny's/Lenwich for years. The new location on Third Ave is much brighter than the old Second Ave location, but I do miss the people watching on 77th and Second. With regards to the food, I've always been a fan of their breakfast offerings. Lately, I've been obsessed with the Spanish Omelette. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 business was surprising slow at this location but, very bright and clean. We ordered 2 cheddar chicken sandwiches, paid, then waited 25 minutes for the two sandwiches and watched how numbers and orders taken after ours were called. It took so long we didn't get to enjoy them until hours later because we had an appointment that went a few hours. There was more staff flattening out shopping bags and putting napkins in them than completing orders. And the was one lady who was on the thicker side who had an attitude when we asked where our order was? Then, she throws them in a bag and tosses the bag at us. When you've been to one Lenny's you have pretty much been to them all. It's just a solid place to grab a sandwich no frills attached. They have an extensive list of sandwich favorites to choose from, and you can also build your own. Yes, it is a NYC chain sandwich shop, a little better then Subway and a few others, but nothing super amazing either. Just a good spot if you are craving a decent sandwich or wrap. It's also a good place for a guy like me that is dieting and trying to watch the fat and calorie content. Since it's close to home I have dropped in here a few times on weekends for lunch. With more than enough healthy options to choose from there is no problem building a healthy meal. Grilled chicken sandwich on toasted 7-grain bread with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and deli mustard along with a diet soda. I love deli mustard, which helps a pretty boring sandwich become tolerable. Pretty easy to make a sandwich the way you want it here. This location is clean and the counter staff is quick too, along with outside seating which is a must on a nice day. This place is amazing ! Known for their sandwiches but honestly everything else on the menu from the mac and cheese to the fruit bowls are also delicious! Located on east 77th there is only a $40 dollar order minimum on deliveries above 86 street. Lenwich charges a $5 dollar delivery fee that does not go to the delivery man , then you have to tip. The UES needed a place like Lewin. I came here yesterday to grab something quick to eat. Most of the restaurants around are sit down. I have to say I was impressed the salads and sandwiches are huge here. I love! How they chop up your salad into small pieces and mix everything. The menu is diverse. offering breakfast all day and lunch style foods. This place reminds me of a deli mixed with a fast casual restaurant where all of the food is infront of you behind the glass. you point to whet you want. They offer hot and cold sandwiches all of which are numbered or has some sort of funny name attached to it. The sandwiches are really good. 2 people could defiantly split 1 sandwich or wrap. I love the salads here they mix everything together really well and chop everything up into really small pieces. Overall. This is a good spot if you want to grab something quick. Portions are big. Similar to a Reuben with corned beef, Swiss, thousand island but with Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut and added pastrami- in my opinion much much better.
